Exceedingly happy with this purchase, and it's warranty of ten years; purchased two, so hopefully a long reliable life. Some points to bear in mind when installing this fan, particularly if you have a suspended ceiling, or one that's spaced from the main roof structure of the room... you most likely may find as I did, that the two large screws supplied are not long enough; however, there are longer ones made, so just in case, look behind your ceiling light rose where the cable enters the rose... remove the two screws and look under first; check how deep your plaster layer is, including the plaster board, and allow for the extra depth to length of screws you may require...also match the diameter size too.Tip to those who are not that handy for a DIY installation... after marking the hole positions, drill a pilot-hole, and then increase the hole size to just under the diameter of the screw inner shank, not the outside thread screw being used... this will provide an easy screw tension, and allow the screw to go through the block board firmly, but with more ease... however, make a clearance hole within just the plaster level and it's plaster board first; otherwise you may find the plaster chipping away under the mounting bracket, and will cause binding of the screw into the block board... overall it's a cleaner job, and wont cause the plaster to break-up.Don't be tempted to install the fan just within the plaster board ? This has a weight of 6 Kg; so a good fixing is required, at the very least into a 200 mm x 19 mm squared block board, behind the plaster board. This was what I found within my flat, and then confirmed this fact by talking to the on-site construction foreman. I understand this should be standard practice in current buildings, having suspended or spaced ceilings. So longer screws are required, and ensure they go right through the block board thickness to provide maximum support. The wiring is very easy with Live/Neutral/Earth into a terminal block; there are no odd-ball connections, all sub-sections are made with plugs and sockets pre-wired.You will spend more time assembling the fan, than installing the ceiling bracket... follow the instructions, they are important. Tip here; use a small box or bucket to place the fan motor and it's stem/pole into; this will make fitting the fan blades much more easy; also, use a magnetic screw-driver when removing and re-installing the fan blades screws, with their fiber washers... due the blades are angled, and the end one of three screws is lower to get at; so can be a little tricky to reach but, with care is straight forward.

Bought as a replacement for an exsisting one, which had died. Delivered in double quick time, which was very helpful, Simple instructions which were easy to understand. Although only three blades I have found it much more effective than my previous ceiling fan. It looks neat and stylish. Works very effectively a.

Had one of these in Greece for many years. Looks good, works well. Very reliable. Has switch to allow reverse rotation so air moves away from you while sleeping. Excellent.
