This fan works well and was a good price. The first fan I got had a crack, but when I contacted the company they sent a replacement without any quibble, and did not request the first one back. However there was a problem with the base on the 2nd one, but again when I contacted them they sent a replacement by return, and were very helpful. kI can't fault them. If only every company was as helpful. After all, it is not an expensive item. It is probably not as robust as some towers, but that is reflected in the price, and it is working very well - I've had it on all day at work since the hot weather started and it's still going strong - as is the cracked one which I took home for use at night -

This is not the first time I've reviewed this purchase??I was sent a different fan to begin with, it was damaged and clearly used before. The replacement works ok but again was used before. There was black dust on the control panel and around the vents so it was either a display model or someone had it for a while and it was well used before I got it.This aside it's a good fan for the price. Even if it only lasts one summer it is worth the price. I'm sure that the Dyson fan is better but for about one tenth the price I'm happy enough with this one. But they should have sent a new one or advertised it as used.

Appears to be a nice piece of equipment. The tower fan arrived on time. It took my brother about five minutes to put together. As far as operating is concerned. There is a 2 hour timer, a three speed fan and an oscilator control switch, on or off. The switches all worked perfectly. The three speed switch really does give three speeds. When the timer runs out it automatically switches the fan off. The mechanical movement is smooth and quiet with no appreciable vibration. I am very pleased with my fan, thank you.

I bought this a year back. As usual the amazon delivery was on time and perfect. The fan is really very good and is puts you at ease when you find the summer heat killing you. It is not noise at all and the oscillation function makes sure that the air is evenly distributed in the room. One negative i felt is that it feels a bit down and wont get all the air when you are on bed, this can be overcome by keeping the fan on a platform. Not a big deal. Over all this fan is a perfect buy. Get it.

Good quality Fan at a very reasonable price £24.95. I was not expecting much for the price but was pleasantly surprised. It is quiet in use, has 3 speeds. Fixed and rotating movement options. Timer if you want to use it too. Light weight, puts together in seconds ( base in 2 parts - just slot together ). What more can I say! Very pleased and will probably buy another soon for additional room. Been using for 2 months and going strong. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lightweight and relatively quiet. I was somehow expecting it to be a bit more powerful though - you have to be close to it (within approx a metre) to feel a cooling breeze from it. It's no good to you on the other side of the room. Cable's a little on the short side considering you'll need to move it around. It seems like a good buy but only time will tell.

After reading other reviews I thought that I may have made a mistake ordering this product however I am pleased to reveal that I didn't. The fan is quiet, efficient and easy to assemble (it's only putting in four screws). It arrived promptly and was well packaged. If you are after a fan I wouldn't worry- this does exactly what it says on the tin.

This was a life saver over the summer for my parents! They live in a small flat in England and the summer months were just so hot and sticky for them so I bought them this and it made SO much difference. It has loads of cool functions and can suit either a home or an offce/workplace. They have started using it all year round!

The design has improved on older models it seems. What was really annoying was the silly little plastic flap on the top that you had to keep lifting up to use the controls. I mean just who would be so stupid as to design something like that? But with this new model the flap appears to have gone. So I like it.

There is a small amount of construction involved when this arrives, but it is very straightforward, and the work of two minutes before you are enjoying the cooling breeze. There are three settings, and a timer function too. My sister doesn't like it much, but she tends to criticise everything I buy anyway.

Managed to get my hands on this fan during the uncharacteristic London "heatwave" - it's been a month and it works well so far. It's quiet, the rotation works, the sleep timer function is handy and works perfectly so far, and it's slim so quite easy to store. Would be more useful if it had a remote.

Bought it for my 6y old daugther's bedroom during the heatwave. This fan is very discreet and can fit in any corner of any room. The timer functionality is very easy to use as well as the low/medium/high settings. It is not noisy at all even in the high setting. I would recommend.

This fan is pretty good, not amazing, but really good value for money. Quiet enough to go in my three year old's room, reasonable enough size that it doesn't take up too much room. The timer works fine although controls are a bit clunky. It's not elegant but it is functional.

Absolutely marvellous. Loads of air distribution, where needed in modes static or circulation. I am buying another one for my study and my friends were so impressed with it, that they too are going to purchase one. Thank you. 10/10

Quieter than a wall-mounted or desk fan. 3 speeds. Timer or non-timer. I go to sleep with this set to timer on really hot nights. After a few nights you don't hear the click any more when it stops. Invaluable.
