This is abosulutely perfect for working in tight spaces. At around 3.5 inches in length it's actually smaller than I was expecting.I bought this to replace a cheap Rolson bit ratchet that I use for work (medical devices) and the Wera is shorter and lower profile. Already owning several sets of Wera screwdrivers/ torx drivers/ nut spinners I thought I'd see what the quality of this bit driver was like. The first thing that I noticed was that despite is tiny size (it really is tiny) it's remarkably heavy and feels totally solid on the hand. The ratchet mechanism is smooth and the high tooth count means there's very little rotation required to engage the next tooth. Again, this is perfect when working with limited space. The included 1/4 hex to 1/4 sq drive adapter means that this can be used with 1/4 sockets as well as with hex bits. There is a little play in the adaptor when fitted and a very small amount of backlask in the mechanism which when combined are noticeable but it's still has a far more precise feel to it than the cheaper alternatives that I've tried. The only 2 downsides to this tool that I can see are: (and they're not really negative points)1) it's short length will limit the amount of torque that can be applied - although if you need more leverage on a fastener, then this isn't the right tool for the job and you probably need a 1/4 sq dr ratchet, not a bit driver.And2) its so small that you might,a) not realise you've left behind.b) struggle to use it if you have spade like hands.I almost wish that I'd bought this as part of a set with bits and sockets included. I've never had any issues with Wera kit and the build quality of this ratchet instils confidence that it will last and perform well. The only other alternative that I would consider over this is the sealey mini bit driver (can insert hex bits into the handle or the ratchet) that comes with a 72 tooth mechanism. Having tried both, the Wera definitely has the edge on build quality but the Sealey is cheaper so it's as always, it's bit of a trade off. I certainly wouldn't swap this Wera for the Sealey, even if it is cheaper...

I bought this specifically for it's small size, there comes a time where you need a low profile socket driver. I was thinking of getting the Zyklop Mini 2 but it uses a proprietary socket system, so I settled for this which uses standard 1/4" bits. The ratchet is even smaller than I expected, so small I am tempted to gripe over it's minimal size. One uploaded photo shows just how small it is.Another photo shows the profile: I find it a bit odd that the adaptor piece is slightly longer that it does not sit flush into the ratchet. The last photos shows a closeup to the spring mechanism that acts doubly as a clasp for the inserted bit, as well as to lock the ratchet mechanism: to open the system, just remove this spring with something like a pair of snap ring pliers.Overall very impressed with the product. You might not necessarily need something this small, but being a ratchet with thumb ring and low profile, this is worth the money for scenarios that require access of bolts and nuts in confined spaces.

Fantastic little tool - expensive; but once you see the quality of the engineering it's clear that you get what you pay for. It's very small for getting into all those awkward spots - the hardest thing is probably going to be not losing it! Highly recommended.

One of the best tools I’ve ever bought. Feels really solid and a lovely smooth ratchet mechanism. It’s really small so ideal for those hard to reach fixings. The locking system is nice and secure and the manual ring is easy to operate one handed.

Nice little tool.It is little, maybe smaller than I expected but nevertheless it's very useful. You can remove the 1/4drive adaptor and insert a screwdriver bit to give you a limited access driver.Maybe a little overpriced.

I was expecting a big ratchet (my own fault), but none the less its a brilliant one! Very sturdy and it feels as a quality product, makes it dead easy to reach some tricky and tight engine bay bolts!Great one!

This is a fantastic and quality tool, strong, with a smooth easy use ratchet and even comes with a drive for sockets.I should have had one years ago.Can not recommend it enough.

Excellent tool, very good quality and very handy for those difficult to reach places where space is tight. You get what you pay for with tools and this is worth every penny.

Definitely handy for getting into small spaces where otherwise you might be looking to use a nut driver, and certainly not lacking in robustness.
