Outstanding. Even at twice the price this would still be a good buy.I'm mainly a FACOM user (From the days when I used to work on old aeroplanes and cars full time) but I wanted a compact and inexpensive socket set to keep in the car for breakdowns and such. I do of course have the recovery membership, but sometimes if you can just fix something yourself with a few basic tools it can save you several hours of waiting for the man with the van.The main criteria were that it must be compact, reasonably priced, have the most commonly used tools and be well made enough to handle anything I can throw at it.This little set is just about perfect. All the components are very well made,

Good points:Excellent quality tools and outer case. (see coment below for inner tray). Button to release from ratchet wrench is a good idea I find. The ratchet wrench handle is very ergonomic and of good qualityMinor bad point:Ratchet action is quite coarse. By that I mean it takes several degrees to overcome each ratchet step. This is a slight problem where space is limited. Also results in a higher resistance feel which requires the holding of the other component or socket until sufficient torque is built up. I assume the upside of this is a higher torque rating on the ratchet. Not pushed it yet so not sure! I think the keener amongst us will want a second,

for a start - this is a 3/8 set that also contains a single 1/4 driver. The 1/4 thing probably puts a lot of people off.from the get go you can tell this 3/8 set is quality. It comes in a very, very sturdy box (not the normal type that you can tell wont last 3 seconds - this thing exudes quality.) Very sturdy with heavy latches and a strong metal rod as a hinge. Feels and looks bomb proofthe sockets / ratchet etc all feel like quality stuff too. nice and sturdy, well made. 6 point so it fits everything nice and snug. I can tell this is going to be with me for years. they have a nice satin type finish which helps it to look like quality too.All reviews ive seen say that Bahco are a quality manufacturer - can't attest for its longevity (yet!)

I bit the bullet and went for this pricey socket set based on the reviews and so far, so good. The case is sturdy and well designed, although the clasps are a little difficult to get off initially. It is reassuringly weighty and appears well-made. It's also useful to have the slightly larger sockets as sets I have had in the past have included only smaller ones- I find these difficult to use and a bit fiddly, but obviously it depends on the size of the nuts you're working with.The extender socket and pivot are great this set and something that sets it apart from other cheaper alternatives. I've struggled in the past to deal with angled bolts and nuts but this should overcome that completely.

As a lift engineer I use hand and power tools every day and they have to be reliable and easy to use. I have used 1/2" drive sockets for years but decided to go for a more compact 3/8" drive. I bought this Bahco set after oddly buying some garden shears and being really pleased with the build quality. The socket set I received is in a different and sturdier looking case - not that I use it. The ratchet is just the right length, The item I received has a semi grippy two tone grey handle, and a very fine and positive ratchet mechanism. The reverse lever is easily switched and I cannot fault it. Again, the sockets are solid and fit well. They fit the flats of the bolt heads.

This set seems to be really high quality, especially for the price. Bahco is a Swedish subsidiary of SnapOn, so that should really ensure a good level of quality, given the parent company's heritage.The box was a little fiddly to open at first, although it seems to have sorted itself out now. The tools are nice and heavy, with a lovely lightly textures finish. The ratchet mechanism is virtually silent, and feels very premium. The size of the toolkit overall is perfect, and immensely handy.I would definitely recommend this for the price. As it stands right now, I can see these lasting quite a while,

Brilliant - been struggling on with an old set purchased from Argos 20 odd years ago - this set is amazing. I used to hate having to change to a different size socket since my old set wasn't clear. Everything fits perfectly and you can clearly see what what. Case seems solid though catch is quite stiff but im sure it will ease in time. A friend recommended Bahco to me - and he was right.. next purchase will be the 3 taychey spanners but at 35 quid they're expensive but look great. Went for this sent because it wasn't hundreds of pieces that I would never use - just wanted the main 10 - 19mm sockets. Like the way the socket latches to the spindle as well - very good design

There are many socket sets that dont have the items that this one has!It has everything you need in one set instead of buying a number of sets. Looked at many, many sets that dont come with as much as this. Bahco put a lot of thought into the contents you can tell.Got mine from Toolsave which came quickly even at this festive time of year.It is a great quailty set too. The two extension arms it comes with are great use.Everything sockets in tightly and lock into the wrench arm which can only be released via the release button on the wrench.This is THE socket set to get avoid those cheap and nasty brands like Rolson etc. They are around £10 for a reason.

I purchased this purely out of convenience, I've always found its handy to have a socket set about, having tried numerous ones over the years this is the best quality one I've had to date. The case is great quality and pleasant to carry, it's compact enough to fit in a bag, so perfect to chuck in a tool bag or rucksack if required.My only gripe and it doesn't remotely affect the quality of the tools, the little gel sticker that they put on the case, completely pointless as it peels off so easily. I threw it in the bin, it wasn't worth having it on the case.

High quality tool, well made and not likely break. I have been through a few of these sets (not Bahco) and have had problems where the smaller sockets can't handle the torque and break. This is partly because I'm using them to persuade corroded nuts and bolts on old motorbikes.This set feels much better though, you can just feel through your hands that it will be able to take the strain. It also has a couple of spark plug sockets which are handy. Box is very good and has decent strong clasps. Well worth the small premium in price for the quality.

This product is just simply top class! right from the case to the feel, the build quality, the ease of use, everything about it oozes quality!! for £30 quid its just simply a no brainer! ( i had spent 30£+ on a utterly useless xxxx million piece draper kit that had to essentially go in the bin it was sooo bad!) just buy this you wont be disappointed!Update:Been using this now for 3 years, and it has taken significant abuse on my and families various cars. Not once slipped, still working well, sockets in great condition. Great quality overall!

I purchased this Socket Set after viewing the alternatives on the Amazon UK website. The S330 was chosen based on the picture, which shows a breaker bar as part of the set but this is not the case. I understand that I should have checked further and read the contents section which is correct for the S330 set. The picture appears to be the S380 set which is a little misleading! Having said that the quality of the product is not in question, it is an excellent set. If you require the breaker bar the S330 set does not have one!

I purchased this set for use on my motorcycle and used in today. Very good quality indeed and all contained within a very sturdy case with the best closures I've seen in a long time. The two sides of the box are separated inside by a foam pad which usefully has the contents printed on it. The inclusion of an 8mm socket would have been nice but easily purchased elsewhere of course. This was an international purchase sent to me in Greece and arrived in perfect condition as all packed and swiftly via DHL........recommended!

These were a great buy - bought a couple of years ago and well worn in by now, albeit now caked in oil. I've been surprised at just how handy the set has been for the most unlikeliest of purposes. Primarily I use mine to service my car and maintain my road bike. None of the set has perished despite putting the ratchet through some punishment.I have a few tools made by Bahco and I trust them as a reliable brand, will keep with them until I experience otherwise.Please hit 'yes' below if you found my review helpful :)

Bought these as someone who recently decided to service my own cars instead of been mugged off at garages. The build quality it excellent, Even the case is a hard shell that would take a battering before it even got a scratch. I don't know much about sockets ect but I do know that these will last a very long time and I'm glad I bought this set. Shame I dropped the 10mm into the bottom of the engine bay never to be seen again but I would highly recommend this set to anyone on a budget.
