I received my kompakt W1 maintenance kit as a 2019 Christmas gift, I’d always been impressed with my Wera tools and I was equally impressed with my new ‘maintenance kit’; I think the first opportunity to use it was a few months later when I had some flat pack furniture, garden swing and a bicycle to assemble for my daughter/granddaughter.Unfortunately the red and yellow screwdriver handle malfunctioned and wouldn’t release one of the screwdrivers regardless of how I depressed the release mechanism.I contacted Wera by email, explained my predicament and also stated that I had no receipt or proof of purchase as the tool set had been a gift.The reply I received was very matter of fact that I

Bought this set as I have various fittings that require different screwdriver heads (shimano disc brake pad screws, upvc doors etc.), and this set had all the key ones I needed.The screwdrivers are excellent precision tools. The heads are well engineered, and managed to get purchase on screws that other cheap screwdrivers had failed to turn. I can't comment on the VDE nature as I've not used them for electrical work.The Zyklop driver is fantastic, and great for various work on my bike and home DIY. The flexibility of the driving angle means it can be used in lots of different ways, and seems really well built.The only criticism I have is of the joker spanner - a single spanner seems a fairly odd choice for a 'variety'

Not my first wera purchase so i knew i was expecting good quality but i was not disappointed.Love wera, the joker is just a pleasure to work with and i rarely need other than a 10 or 13mm so perfect choice wera. The zyklop baffles my work mates lol, takes some getting used to but what a an awesome utility tool, everything wera i own is such impressive quality that if i need a tool now i see if wera make one first. This kit is ultra versatile , very high quality and has all the usual wera genius design features (eg. The sockets twist lock into and out of the case so they cant fall about inside case in transit. )If you are considering purchase but think its pricey, try it,

A lot of sparks I know don't like the slight movement in the multi screedriver handle they prefer a different screwdriver for each task. I like the amount of heads available and the space saving ability. This is a great set to have at home or at work as it comprises of most things required to do pretty much any servicing of electrical and mechanical devices. All that's missing for me is torque meter but that is available in another set. The interest free payment option swayed it for me as you don't miss £20 a Month. I really like the precision cut of the tools and they feel sturdy enough to use without fear of damage to ironmongery or tools.

Amazing screwdriver set for 'working on the mains'. It seems to have all the blades you need, including flat blades which Wera sometimes seem not to like.What's wrong with it? Very little that I've found so far. There's no padlock for locking off boxes when you're working on lines out of a room, and the test screwdriver doesn't look the same quality. There's also what looks like a very nice 13/8mm open ended spanner that seems to have no real use. I'm sure I can find a use, a half inch spanner always comes in handy somewhere, but why it's here I just don't know...If you can afford this set then you really do NEED thism set...

Really great product. It’s got everything you could possibly need.The zyklop ratchet is really easy to use, has all the bits you’d ever want and everything locks together nicely.The spanner has wera’s clever design that can lock on to rounded nuts. Really premium feeling.Screwdrivers are good but they do have a little bit of play that’s a little annoying.The sockets all have their place, they lock in to place with a small twist, you could throw this tool bag and they’d still stay in place. As it’s wera you know the quality of them is on point too.

This was not only within a couple of quid of the cheapest I had seen it online when I got it, but also had came with option to pay in installments which was great for me at the time of purchase.As for the kit, it's Wera...you could definitely put together a kit that's cheaper but the quality of their tools are brilliant and the kit is nice and compact this means you can carry this and minimal other tools for a lot of basic maintenance tasks for servicing of household appliances

if you are a technician, no doubt that js the choice. Couldn't argue the best tool tool set and best quality j have ever had.Nice organised and straight put it back in after each use. Tidy and smashed.Cost 95 quid to buy it , but if use it with care, could last many may year. So a bit pain in the price on the purchase could earn long lasting durability and convenience.

Having not used the kit yet as only arrived an hour or so ago. on initial look at the kit it is extremely high quality and made very well with what I have come to expect from wera . Working in the maintenance field I am very much looking forward to getting to use this at work . it’s Amazing value for money and will update on the usage when I get into work at the weekend .

I'm a wind turbine tech, this is a great little kit to have in my laptop bag. Everything I need to be able to do basic electrics and open up panels/covers. I have a double ended 17/19 joker spanner and a set of small snips to add to this kit and that's all I need. Well worth the money. Unfortunately the netting pouches don't seem to be that strong after constant use.

As expected from WERA a very good quality case and tools. However I am still yet to find a set that ticks all the boxes for an technician, so I modified mine a bit I took out the socket holders and replaced them with a rail and put 1/4 " metric / imperial Alan keys on it and replaced the screw bits for torx bits, I can pretty much get into anything now.

Bought this as a present for my future son in law , a plumber, on the recommendation of my son, a carpenter...it’s a fantastic piece of kit , although an awful lot of money ...but as we’ve found out from past experience it’s always more economical to buy the best that you can afford , it’s worth it In the long run ..suitable for many different tradesman

Lovely kit, expensive but has a nice fabric Velcro case which i much prefer.The tools are solid, screwdriver heads snap in well and have not distorted under pressure, the wrench head sizes are 5.5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13 just my luck i needed a 9mm one!compact and fits in my bag perfect, covers most of my day to day usage

The product seems great so far, its only been one day, I am just confused as to why on the product pictures the kit case has the sockets holders stitch labelled with their sizes as per wera product line, but when I received the kit today, my case has absolutely nothing labelled, is this a third party case? can anyone explain?

My life has become very sad when my highlight of the day is opening the new tool of the day, and did it bring joy!.The Wera tool set is amazingly presented in a very high quality case, with a lot of thought with the contents. My only concern is actually using these, they look so great I do not want to use them!
