Overview: High quality, durable, cost effective toolkit and would definitely recommend.I have had this set for 2 years now and have used it maintain my car as well as other jobs. Undertaking everything from basic servicing, through to dissembling a cylinder head, break pads and engine mounts. It has also proved useful for assembling a large kitchen table from ikea.I have also used the sockets with a torque wrench and large breaker bar, coping effortlessly. The quality of the set feels incredibly durable, and after 2 years of moderate use there is no signs of wear. The handles of the drivers themselves are also ergonomic and comfortable to use.The case is a good size, and fairly durable,

I have spent many years with a 3/8 drive cheapo socket set and with hand me down 1/2" sockets/drives, all mixed up with other tools, "we have all been there ?" i felt it was time to bite the bullet.I use one of these sets at work and as my daughter has a small car, i needed a high quality socket set.I used the 32mm socket to remove hub bearing nuts with a extension bar, "piece of tubing" with no problems.Made in Taiwan, these may not be Snap on or Teng, that cost 3 times the price, but are GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY and for me are a great long term investment,no more trying to find a socket that fits.The work i have done "Aux belt/pulley bearings" i have already paid for these sockets,

Just purchased an old 18 year old motor home, that hadn't been used for the past 2 years and was sitting in a garage. My existing ratchet set was missing a couple of pieces so i though i would treat myself to a new one. So far i'm not disappointing. The item arrived quickly. It is heavy (which seemed a good sign) and the case is sturdy. There are enough attachments and socket pieces to cover a multitude of tasks. So far i have taken a front bumper off, wheel hubs and a whole front passenger seat (as needed t o get to the leisure battery) and so far although several of the nuts were pretty well sealed on the socket and wrench set performed perfectly.

3+ decades ago didn't know I would be using sockets and spanners as much as I did as a DIY and home mechanic. Had I known then I would have saved up a bit more to buy a good set such as this Bahco instead of cheap quality import. A mistake because the main ratchet drive soon gave up and spent money on another set.Fast forward 2021 to this Bahco set. It is good quality. Even the case is well thought out; there is even a container space to hold a few nuts that you have undone. Reckon this set will still be sound long after I am dead and gone. This is good quality without the extra options and expense of Wera. Don't get me wrong, I have a number of sets of tools by Wera but I use sockets the least so don't feel inclined to buy Wera sockets.Anyhow,

I did not expect anything when I bought this. I was thinking sham reviews if I’m honest.Blow me down if it isn’t decent. I’m sure there are better options and mechanics will probably be reading this review whilst uttering unprintable comments about the rigidity of my wrists, but let’s be honest a good mechanic can work wonders with any and even no tools (travel in the African bush if you doubt the validity of that statement).The set is comprehensive and sturdy, it is well presented and housed in an equally sturdy case.The ratcheting feels and sounds purposeful and so far the set has withstood my totally incompetent handling.Perhaps you feel as you need the £1000 luxury brand name to be a good bolt turning professional,

This set arrived on time and just as I was trying to replace the discs and pads on all four corners of my old Range Rover with a socket set I bought from Halfords years ago. Now don’t get me wrong I thought the set from Halfords was good quality and had served me well for years but it isn’t a hex set and some of the bolts I was trying to remove were at serious risk of being rounded off hence this purchase. Believe me when I say I don’t think you’ll find better quality for the price. I had to take a breaker bar to some of these bolts and apply A LOT of pressure and I am a big bloke and everything held together perfectly. I have broken sockets and bars in the past but this set has easily passed the test.

I decided to get a set of decent half inch drive sockets after getting fed up of rooting through the four or five cheap ¼" and ⅜" drive sets I've accumulated all of which have some missing parts. This is the set I chose and it's excellent.The case they come in is great in itself - a sturdy plastic clamshell with a separator that keeps the heavy parts falling out of the top.The work I do isn't very heavy so I can't comment on whether these are any more likely to last a lifetime than lesser sets.However just by looking at them and feeling them it's obvious that the sockets are definitely a cut above anything you would get in Aldi.

Really well build ratchet. Not the smoothest toothed ratchet (not that it's rough or faulty either) but makes up for this in sheer quality and robustness of the ratchet mechanism. Sockets are of excellent quality with a nice thin socket wall (in my opinion a sign of high quality steel especially when compared to cheaper sockets that have thicker wall sizes but still split). The rubber handles are good quality and don't feel like they'll degrade easily due to oil. Most surprised at the case. Although it's bulky it's very high quality and doesn't fall apart like cheap blow mold cases or become unbuckled (both cases annoyingly sending your sockets flying under every shelf and work bench)

Quite simply the best socket set I've ever owned, better than Halfords Pro in my opinion, I think given the outstanding quality they're very good value for money too.I look after my tools and keep them clean and in their box unless I'm actually using them, so I'm confident they will easily outlast me !I've been told that Bahco (a Swiss company) are now owned by Snap-on, but have apparently always been extremely high quality, and that's very evident in this product, even the case they're in is extremely well made.You really couldn't go wrong with this socket set.

Fabulous set of sockets and extremely sturdy. I bought as I was putting up fence posts and needed a 19mm socket. When the delivery arrived, I was really impressed by the case - convenient and tough and the socket set inside was very well made with a decent ratcheting mechanism. I’m a bit of a tool snob favouring Dewalt, but on occasions I’ll use Bahco as they can’t be beat on value. This set is no different - I was very impressed and they worked perfectly for installing the posts. These will last for years.

This is an excellent socket set. You can tell It's good quality as soon as you handle all the pieces. One thing to be aware of. The ratchet handle has a button press on the back of the handle to locate the socket in the drive with the ball bearing. I just thought it was was stiff until I discovered it.I might now get the Bahco breaker bar to go with it. Obviously this is a bit more to pay than a lot of socket sets online but you are getting what you pay for i.e. good quality for not too ridiculous a price

This is quality piece of kit and as soon as it is received you can see exactly why this costs more than other lesser brand sets - great socket size selection and the inclusion of accessories like a universal knuckle joint are a huge advantage and would probably cost you £15-£20 on their own! I've bought a number of Bahco products and have never been disappointed - Highly recommended. I've since gone on to buy the 1/4 inch S25 set from the same supplier and that is equally top-notch!

Bought this bacho socket set from here and arrived next day. Everything looks and feels great and used the minute I got it doing brake system for my car. I only buy quality tools and this is definitely a quality set. I've bought bacho shifters and hammers in the past and I've also bought a smaller socket set 1/4" and also a few sets of spanners. I'm a marine engineer and can go through cheaper tools at work almost daily. Defo worth paying for, top quality tools

Brilliant entry/mid level socket set for anyone requiring a not too varied range of socket sizes.As with all Bahco products they are very well made and are very ergonomically designed. The ratchet has a real smooth action with no slipping or sticking of the gears and the rubber handles still maintain their grip levels when wet, or with oil/grease residue.Would highly recommend this set to anyone considering it and any other Bahco product for that matter.

I bought these on a whim, not knowing anything about Bacho, but now i would buy more of their tools.I've used them on my motorbike and car, and on most DIY projects as needed in the house. Two years on and i can hardly see any signs of wear in the sockets and the handle is still holding up well.The case is very well made and holds everything in place as expected. The breaker bar could be longer however, but the two extension bars are very useful.
