I've owned this ratcher for a 6 months+ now and I feel I can give a fair review.The finish on the handle is lovely, a nice matte effect that has worn very well (not at all). It also has a very nice weighty feel in the hand.Teeth were quite tight when brand new but have loosened up abit after some use but it still feels tight just less resistance.Only problem I have is that there are 4 notchy points when any pressure is applied at angle (turning a bolt that is facing you when putting pressure up or down if that makes sense). Its gone through alot of use, being used multiple times a day. I wouldn't say the notchyness is due to ingress of dirt either because I use it solely in a clean room environment,

Overall this is a good 3/8 ratchet. The all metal design is sleek and comfortable to handle and the matt finish ensures good grip. It is compact and small enough for work in confined spaces, such as work on automotive engines. The 72 tooth wheel allows for a small return angle and the ratchet is uni-directional. The ratchet features a ball lock to secure sockets and a release button. However there are some cons to this ratchet. Firstly there is no way to dismantle the ratchet to carry out repairs or oil the internal mechanism, meaning if the ratchet breaks you are forced to buy an entire new unit. Also the ratchet handle is on the short side making it difficult to undo stubborn buts or similar fasteners.

Absolutely love these ratchets, they have a very nice feel in the hand when using them, even though they are all metal the shape fits into your hand really well so you are able to apply alot of force without any discomfort to your hand, the teeth are very smooth & require such a tiny amount of movement between each tooth, they are very shallow compared to all my other ratchets however there are slightly longer but this helps massively with being able to apply more torque & the ratchet handles tight nuts & bolts with ease, the whole time I have been using the ratchets they havn't missed a single tooth,

Bought this as recently found that to replace headlight bulbs on my van the easiest way is to remove plastic struts above light units for easier access. For that I needed something small to undo and do up the torx screws on the struts in a limited space. This works perfectly but you must have the bits in your tool box for removing the torx screws as this is just a ratchet only to connect the bits to. As I was buying this thought I would get 2 of this type as so handy for this and other jobs. I must admit I bought a cheaper one to keep on the van so it is there if needed for bulb change as described.

Went through 3 ratchets in the past 12 months and wanted something that was durable and up to the job. I work in the lift and escalator industry and a ratchet is my go to tool.The Wera ratchet although expensive feels great in the hand. It’s not light compared to other ratchets but heavy. It’s weight makes it easier to tighten or loosen nuts and bolts and the handle is perfectly shaped to fit in your hand.Have it now 3 months and no complaints at all. I next plan on getting the Wera Joker spanner’s.

This Wera ratchet is a quality item. The 5 degree return will be invaluable in getting into those tight spaces where you don't have much room to swing a normal ratchet. The ratchet looks like it can take some abuse and is really well made. The reason I went with Wera is I have some long reach screwdrivers from them and I'm yet to wear them out, so I knew Wera can be trusted to deliver. Just need an excuse to buy the rest of the range now.

Wera tools are excellent quality, what I like about this model over the other Zyklop model with the adjustable angle head is the fact this are fixed and set at right angles, it also has a little feature that locks the socket onto the head, simple press the centre button on the ratchet head to attach and release the socket, no more sockets heads coming off mid turn!If you want to use at various angle get a multi directional attachment

If your looking for tool look no further. Wera are not cheap (unless your buying snap on ) but have a real good quality, build and finish. I'm an engineer by trade both eletrical and mechanical and so need good kit as it's how I make my living. Their screw drivers, ratchets, sockets and screwdriver bit have all found there way into my tool kit and I would change them.

I've used FOUR 1/2" ratchets in the past 2 years. This is the only one that has survived, and it still works great.It's really handy for access to tight areas, both in terms of the size of the head, and the return angle. Good release mechanism too.I've had my cheap 1/4" ratchets break too and will be purchasing Wera's like this to replace them

I bought these as I owe some wera tools already. Wera to me means quality only. I like these as they are whole metal no rubber handel so they are easy to clean and they will last forever. Also the size of the head is really small which comes in really handy in tight spaces. Would buy these over snap on all day.

Wrong item was delivered! Be aware of the exact model numbers. I have ordered Wera Zyklop 8004C which is with lever switch but received Wera Zyklop 8003C which is with push button switch!!! Otherwise, this ratchet is really good one. Solid metal and heavy duty. Excellent quality as all other Wera tools

I haven't had much use with it, but the few hours I have been using it seems well built strong and quite.CON is that it's non serviceable, and at the price point of £30 it's a tad worrying.PRO's Light but strong, Feels really really nice in the hand, very smooth and overhaul a great ratchet.

So far so good. This ratchet has a quality feel to it and I really have no issues with it. Time will tell how long it lasts. I've had Snap-on ratchets in the past and have always been disappointed with them. Here's hoping this ratchet is better.

Got to give it a 5 love the wera zyklop ratchets snap on now a distant memory at the back of the tool box ! Robust nice fine teeth feel nice in the hand and very slim allowing access where a lot of other ratchets just cant go
