I don't know where Allen/hex keys escape to, but they always seem to go missing; at least, the one particular size you need has a habit of not being where you thought it was. I bought this set in 2011 and after eight years of occasional use I can report a full complement of keys, each in their rightful place in the holder provided.Hex keys, especially the smaller sizes, can appear fragile. I don't feel these are any less sturdy than others I've used. Granted, if you use the wrong size, or try to use them for almost-the-same-size-but-not-quite imperial bolts, the corners will round off. Equally, there's only a certain amount of torque that can be applied to them, and with smaller seized bolts you may bend them.

At last I'll always have the right size hex key. This is a nice set of hex keys for domestic and enthusiastic amateur usagee.I take the other reviewers comments about there being better hex key sets around for professional use - but I must admit that I seem to lose my hex keys on a 2 yearly basis. Consequently, the decent quality of these from a recognised brand, coupled with their reasonable price make them a good and sound compromised.My last hex key set were all kept together on a 'keyring' hoop meaning that I either had to take ALL of the hex keys to the job and handle them all together, or spend time messing about taking one off the hoop and replacing it later. I am not sure how to review this item other than to say I have just received them and they look sturdy, with even the smallest one not flexing despite my best efforts to bend it with my hands.Just to give you some more information, you get the following sizes (mm):1.5 2.0 2.5 3.0 4.0 5.0 5.5 6.0 8.0 10.0Finally to give a sense of scale; in the picture of the product the top key is the 5.5mm key and it is 9cm high. The whole package fits into the palm of my hand with the red holder being similar but slightly longer and thinner than a pack of cards (and obviously different in shape).

I needed some new allen keys after I rounded off one of my old, cheapo ones trying to get the bolts out of the grab handle of my motorbike. I was dubious about these because they're probably just as cheap as the ones I had before, but the reviews were good and they are from a reputable brand. Anyway, once they arrived I had that grab handle off in less than a minute. They're very sturdy - and longer than my old ones, so have better leverage. Cheap; tough. What's not to like?

You know that feeling when you need to disassemble/reassemble that bit of flatpack furniture you bought yonks ago but can't find that very specific Allen key it came with? No more searching down the back of your junk drawer, this has everything you need in one place. I can finally sleep at night having fixed by squeaky bedstead. Each key has a long and a short end so you can reach the tightest spot or add extra leverage as needed.

Great buy,top quality from stanley....the keys stay put in the red plastic case which seems very durable.Bought these for mountain biking being as they don't take up much room in the old backpack,they are just the job.Very stiff and really top quality set of keys too ie;the smaller thiner ones don't bend and dont round off the bolts like most cheapo keys on the market....a great price too....nice.

This set of Alan keys were purchased to replace another where the holder had broken so they were all falling out.I don't like the sets where they are all attached onto a single keychain so this one looked perfectReally happy with the set. They are sturdy and the holder itself is perfect for easy access. This is something that everyone needs for their tool kit!

I bought this set of Allen keys for the 1.5mm key specifically as I needed it to adjust my guitar. It worked perfectly, and came with the added bonus of me being able to assemble a new desk I bought!The red holder is very handy and displays the size of each key so you'll never be confused. If you need a set of Allen keys, you cannot go wrong with these.

This is a good set of Allen keys. I like the way they are stored together. My only critisism is some of them are hard to click in and out of the case but maybe that will get easier as they are used more. Good value. I'm happy with this purchase. I have used them to fix a couple of things about the house and they seem quite robust, like they won't snap.

Most items bought for the home and garden these days use allen or hex keys and it pays to have a full set so that you don't get stumped - as I did with a manhole inspection cover in my back garden.Excellent set of keys and at a good price. I keep these handy in my tool box and wouldn't be without them.Highly recommended.

No matter how many Hex (Allen) keys you collect from e.g. Ikea products you never have the right size. Some new bathroom fittings proved that to me so I decided to buy a proper set. They store neatly in the plastic holder, are reasonably easy to extract and are strong and do the job they are meant to do.

I had various allen keys, but needed a larger one, and saw this, which meant I would in future have all the sizes I need in one simple package. Arrived quickly and for the money, they are excellent.Might be useful to be longer for leverage, but then that creates issues of access, so a fair compromise.

I was looking for a basic alan key set for my bike and wanted to use them individually rather than the army knife set up for better access. These are great, they do not bend, feel well made and are small enough to easily fit into a small backpack or tool kit. For the price they are fantastic.

Needed a new set of Allen keys as mine were old and the wrong currency. Had to join the digital age. Very impressed with the plastic mount. So much better than the ring and springs. Wonder if they will go missing just as easily :-}}Update 15 July 15 - YEP they most certainly do !!!!!!!!!

I actually only needed ons size but thought I would have use for the other keys anyway. The size I wanted which was very small worked perfectly and felt very strong. I have used some of the other keys too and they feel well made. All in all a good product and good value for money.
