This lovely little impact socket was purchased with 1 specific job in mind - installing Timberlok railway sleeper screws. They come with an 8mm hex head, and unsurprisingly none of my existing impact sockets went below 10mm. Cue Amazon to the rescue, with a lovely little 8mm socket with a half inch drive. There were lots of 8mm sockets out there with 3/8 drive, which wouldn't work as I'm using a 1/2" impact wrench, and you really don't want to use a reducer!This socket has a deep head on it, perfect for sinking bolts up to an inch or so under the surface.After 200+ Timberlok bolts, this socket barely has a scratch on it. It's got a thin enough head to slip in to a countersunk hole,

2 months of daily overhead linesman abuse stripping stripping the insulator bolts off low voltage poles from the 1950s and 60s. I use this socket with a Milwaukee impact wrench capable of a claimed 1491Nm of opening torque on heavily seized and rusted nuts that haven’t been opened in over 60 years. No signs of deformation on the socket yet,( usually get rounding of the 1/2 inch square drive end with this kind of abuse). It is a chunky socket which is fine for overhead line work, not sure about tight automotive applications. Well impressed for the price.

Good price for CRMO sockets. The rusted up bolt 14mm bolt didn't budge even though it was a tight fit. At 500Nm the socket won & was undamaged. The bolt head lost & has remained rusted in place. However, it is now a round headed bolt ! The sockets were faultless & proper CRMO not chrome vanadium that has treated to look black like another alternative I looked at.

These are good solid sockets at a fair price, this one I got the size wrong (I needed 1 inch not 25mm - a new special tool, why still imperial instead of metric?) KS tools refunded straight away. So a good seller and from past experience these are good sockets.

No review ~ just a comment about which driver is being delivered right now.Some have had a really bad experience, receiving the wrong driver. The correct type got delivered to me though. So, as of early January 2021, the problem looks to have been sorted.

Good solid socket, clear size marking.Purchased a 26mm one of these to get the brass back nuts off a hand basin.Tried basin wrench, no joy, and as usual very limited room...... broken basin on the horizon !This worked a treat.... problem solved

Found this fits all 15mm nuts and bolts, wont fit 12mm or 19mm however, also the other end has fitted on to my ratchet, knuckle bar, air gun and a 6 and 12" extension bars can't get more versatile than that!

If you're putting up a structure with railway sleepers, 8mm sleeper screws and you have a half inch ratchet then this makes the job easy peasy. I use a dewalt socket driver with it

Arrived very quickly and was put to immediate use on an impact wrench. No issues whatsoever and very happy with it. Used on the alternator belt for my beetle so domestic use only.

Good quality socket that's fits well. I needed a deep socket to fit the nuts on my RV wheels that could stand 240nm of torque and not slip off. Worked a treat

A welcome addition to my tool box, strong, solid, dependable. Bought for one particular job, but obviously can and will be used for many more.

i needed this socket to remove flywheel bolts and it was up to the job perfectly. looks and feels sturdy and should last for years to come.

The socket is very good for my needs as a farmer who wants to undo bobcat wheel nuts quickly,change wheel and do back up again.

I’m a duct fitter and use this socket in my nut runner daily. It’s doing what it says on the tin with no complaints.
