I have long craved one of these little beauty's & at last I got my sticky little paws on one .....I was not disappointed.I first clapped my avaricious eyes on this set of sockets & bits when a technition came to fix some equipment at work.I had been used to seeing him arrive with a very heavy tool kit in several hard bags on a set of sack trucks but this day he arrived with a small bag.....He said he was tired of carrying all that gear around & had had a rethink on his tool kit.He still had a large tool kit but that stayed in the car & he only brought it in when he could not fix the problem with the small kit he carried with him. That was very rarely since he only had need of a few tools from it of late & those could be fetched without the whole kit & kaboodle coming in.It had changed his life....no more looking for parking places outside the clients to dump off the tool kit & then finding a proper parking place ,no trudging up several flights of stairs hauling the sack trucks behind him because the building had no elevator. It had streamlined his workday & actually saved him money in parking fines for parking in awkward places to unload the kit & this little wonder had been part of the solution.I was inspired !!!......& for the first time in my life I had "TOOL ENVY"!!!!....I know you know what I mean.I had to get a set.!!! I did & I love it to death.PS>The rest of his tool kit solution :-A Leatherman mutitool (Ive forgotten which one as it paled into insignificance beside the Bacho)A Volt meterSome fancy looking wire strippersA small Laptop for diagnostic workA few spare parts that he regularly used & a couple of other ordinary tools& the Bacho (This was used to access the cabinets and remove the mechanical parts)

First off this set is VERY small - like the entire box is little bigger than a pack of 20 cigarettes, so it isn't for big tough jobs, but having said that, the ratchet spanner looks to be strong and is beautifully made! It's worth buying this set for the ratchet spanner alone! It's just that I would not recommend using it on jobs that need plenty of "grunt".I was recommended to buy this set by a gas fitter who came to install our new gas fire. He had to fit a cover screw on the fire in a very tight space and produced this set. I was immediately impressed as the space he had to get in was very tight indeed and no right-angled screwdriver would had fitted, but this ratchet spanner did,so I bought the set - and glad I did! I've used it on several awkward access jobs already with great success. The rest of the set is nothing overly exciting other than a well-made set of various commonly used 1/4 inch hex bits, a hex to square adapter, an extension bit holder and five metric spanner heads - for which you need the hex to square adapter. See the details in Amazon's description above for details of the hex bits included.Recommended for getting into those really tight spaces with a decent screwdriver.

Nice socket set. I've replaced the 13mm socket with a Bahco 12mm as I use this on my motorbike and there's no use for the 13mm one.Rachet is a strong design, about 5 teeth engage with the rotating ring(which has teeth all the way around) in both forward and reverse, I've used this already on my motorbike and can confirm it punches well above its weight. The 8mm ring spanner on the other end is perfect for a motorbike too, like tightening the gear lever bolt etc as well as many others on crank cases etc. everything is good quality, I leave the 1/4" adaptor fitted in the ratchet so it's easier to lift it out the box. The extension holds bits in using a strong magnet as well as a retainer wire ring.Very pleased with this,it goes everywhere with me as it's a good handy size and useful in most situations at home and by the roadside.UPDATEHad this set for almost a year now and it's been 100% great. Used fairly often it's never let me down and has proved to be worth it's purchase price easily. No sign of wear on any bits or sockets and the rachet is still as it was when new despite undoing some very difficult nuts. Recommended.

Firstly as others mention this is a very small tool set so please check YouTube videos for a better idea of size. I already knew this and it was exactly what I was after. This is the first time I have bought Bahco tools and the quality is superb. Bits are very precisely formed and have stood up to a fair bit of abuse even when used with a 3/8" breaker bar (6mm hex bit on some stubborn bike pedals).Ratchet mechanism is simple and strong shows no sign of wear (I opened it to see how it worked) after several instances where I should have probably used a larger ratchet.Case is maybe not the best being ABS plastic with a plastic clip but hasn't let me down yet and the foam insert holds the bitssteady so it doesn't rattle around which is good as I carry this with me on long cycles.I bought this as a cheap alternative to the Wera Tool Check and told myself I would get the Wera if this broke so I have been (slightly) trying to break it but it's held up surprisingly well.Provided you are aware of the size I would thoroughly recommend this set and will certainly be purchasing more tools from Bahco in the future.

Bought this set as I do some assembly with 10mm stainless steel nuts in my manufacturing job. I’ve been using a larger handle previously. This looks great but is really tiny. Probably too small for the purpose that I had in mind. The whole box is about the same size as a man’s pocket wallet. I will keep this set, as bound to find uses for it. Could be great in tight spaces. Looks like investing in one of the bigger sets available from the same manufacturer. Not used it at all yet - only arrived today.Tried it out. One immediate problem I found is the adaptor (which holds the socket heads with a tiny ball fitting) is so tight, I had real problems removing the 8mm socket head. When pulling on the socket, the socket and adaptor came off the handle together and wouldn't separate. I would have expected the socket to come off easily, leaving the adaptor on the ratchet handle. Finally got them apart by poking the adaptor from underneath, through the socket. Item may loosen up with more use and a little WD40, will see what happens. The adaptor is very small, hoping it won't get lost while working.

First things first - this is TINY. I mean absolutely miniscule - maybe slightly bigger than a pack of cigarettes. It's a handy little pack for throwing in the toolbox. The ratcheting spanner is of the usual Bahco quality, with a lovely firm action to the ratchet. You can slot in screwdriver bits straight away, or it also comes with a bit holder. Also comes with a 1/4" socket adapter, allowing you to use small sockets. This is really for intricate work - boilers and similar things. The spanner itself is about 3 inches long - it really is small. Once you've used it, you'll wonder how you coped without it.Ideally it'd have been nice to have the sockets fix directly into the ratchet without the adapter, which would have shaved off half an inch in depth or more. But that's just a personal preference.

Bahco 2058S26 Ratchet Socket Bit Set 26-PieceI bought this to replace the same set that I left sitting on top of a customers kitchen unit by mistake. It is a great little kit, with the usual high build quality of "Bahco"The bits are solid, as is the reversible ratchet and the bit holder. Good selection of bits for most small jobs are supplied. You can fit the bits straight into the ratchet for getting into tight spaces, or fit them to the bit holder which locks them in securely by lifting up the orange part.Would I recommend to friends and family... yesWould I buy again ... yes, I already did. This one replaces a lost previous set. Thanks for reading, and I hope some information was useful. It is was,I'd appreciate a click on "yes" against "Was this review helpful to you" below.

The item arrived in a timely manner and was well packed. The kit itself is designed for those awkward jobs that require a miniature socket set and this does the job very well indeed with one small problem that should have been picked up by the Bahco R&D Department. The bits fall out when working at severe angles or upside down as there is no retainer like it big brothers. Taking this aside the kit is well made for its purpose, it should not be used as a cheaper version of a socket set. It comes in a robust container that fits well in the tool bag pocket or alike. Most of the general bits are there too and the smaller sockets supplement the kit with any of the security 6mm bits fitting theratchet and magnet holder.Come on Bahco get the mod sorted and update to make it a great kit.

This is excellent value for money and very handy. I do a lot of travelling for work and due to its small size this set is ideal for throwing in a peli case with spare parts as it has the most common bits I need. The small handle means I can also access screws on equipment that I would not be able to reach without taking the whole system apart. The quality is also good, especially at this price. Granted, a couple of bits do get stuck in the handle (like the socket adapter) due to the ball bearing however its size means you can;t quite get enough grip to pull it out again. This is a very minor gripe and to be honest I would prefer the bits staying in rather than dropping somewhereinaccessible.

Love this kit. Bought it almost 8 years ago, and while I have misplaced the bit holder, the ratchet and sockets and what bits I have just randomly swapped around all still work perfectly. It is a really small ratchet. When I bought it it thought it was the next size up but I’m pleased I got this one and have not gone back to buy the next set (although I do have plenty of 1/4, 1/2 & 3/4 inch ratchets. The thing I love is how it can work in confined spaces. More often than not when I use it I don’t use a bit holder in between, just put the bit straight into the ratchet and you only need an inch of space.I would highly recommend for both its use and quality.

(Side note,I'm a engineer by trade so I have used many many high end brand tools)Well I used this for about 2.5 years solid,it's build was superb! Andvits compact size meant it was great for getting into small places, and it fit perfectly into my work trousers pocketLike the headline says,I only stopped using it because I was given the wera bit check set so this was left at home in my home tool kit so was still used in various tasks.I prefer the wera set but this,at almost a 1/3 of the price is a good solid alternative if your buying tools on a budget, plus with bahco tools your still buying exceptional quality.

Right first things first, Don't be fooled by the picture this set is TINY, it's designed for mini jobs, good for hobbyists and working on things like a mower strimmer or toy car etc, but anything else you can forget it.That said. It's an epic piece of kit, like all Bahco products it is well built and very comfortable to use, I was a carpenter by trade before the slump and used a lot of their gear so I know Bahco stuff can take punishment and this ratchet set is just as sturdy.Trust me when I say if your looking for a tough but SMALL package this is the piece of kit for you.

11.7.2016

This is a fantastic piece of kit. Feels solid and unlike cheaper similar sets I've had, it retains the bits very securely. That's essential because this kind of set is going to be used in tight or awkward spaces (like the PC case I just used it for) and you don't want the bits dropping off and getting lost. The knurled ring on the top side of the ratchet head is a nice touch, because it means you can get the fastener most of the way with your finger and thumb before a couple of quarter turns of the bar to tighten. As you may be able to tell, quality tools make me smile.

Superb set of tools. We needed a good tool set to store in our office for odd jobs that needed doing and for general maintanence for whoever takes on that fun role! This tool set has proved incredibly useful for those jobs at awkward angles. Other tools can't get onto the nuts properly, whereas a decent ratchet such as this allows you to do just that. The variety of fixtures and sizes available within this set is incredibly useful and it seems we have the right tool for almost everything now. Highly recommend this product.

Bahco quality as usual with their kit. This will get some use from me as im doing a fair bit of awkward work with cars at the minute and will be used for those tight spaces. The design of the ratchet is key. This is a low profile and slim design like a spanner, isnt bulky whatsoever. Comes with a quick release bit holder too, which wouldn't be ideal for working in the tighter place, not the kits fault, but for working from above, the bit will not fall out, again another key thing to note with this kit as an ideal feature.
