When I first saw the price for this ratchet I couldn't understand why anyone would pay so much. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate good tools. I don't normally buy the cheap tools that come from Asia and my go-to set of ratchets are Craftsman. I've had my Craftsman tools for a long long time and they still work great, but back when I bought them there was little attention paid to ergonomics and comfort. If you've ever used steel wrenches to work on a car in the cold outdoors you'll know what I mean. The attention to detail is amazing, from the handle to the satin finish of the ratchet head. The ratchet mechanism feels much more precise than my old Craftsman and the pivoting head is a real treat when you need to access that remote bolt head near the back of the engine bay.

Before I give a full review I am a DIY type and hobbyist at best so this is not the view of a professional user. That said, I have gone through a few cheaper lesser known brands which padded out my tool collection until each of them died on me.The unit itself is hefty and weighs a good amount but most of all the machining of the parts is really decent/high calibre which makes me think it's built with quality. I have used already it to loosen some bolts around a rusty fixture and despite penetrating spray helping ease the job, this gives me confidence it can handle more. Good tool, good quality, flexibility with its adaptable head, and perfect for a DIY application.

As a qualified tradesman there are tools and tool manufacturers that each person swears by. Knipex, Wiha and Wera are my go to products and this ratchet is in my opinion the market leader for price and quality.The build strength is exemplary and you can feel the quality the minute you pick it up. I generally use long reach sockets which I bought separately and decided to purchase the Zyklop ratchet to compliment my tool set. Love the way the head spins and angles are changed.If there was any criticism it would be that the handle end could be a bit slippy, i would prefer a slightly grippier feel to it but this is being extremely picky.Highly recommend

You get what you pay for at the end of the day, pure quality and a satisfying solid feel to the ratchet. Not used in anger as yet so to speak but l can see by its function and engineering that it will last a long time. Okay at £50+ pounds it is not cheap however it should last, bought to replace my old functioning 1/2” drive ratchet which is 40+ years old now. Went the whole hog and bought the short and long extension bars to complete the set, these are well engineered too and not flexible as far as being bendy but rigid although flexible in their use. Recommended.

These are very nice ratchets, good quality feel to them, very smooth, nice to use, a really nice tool to have in the tool box.My only issue is the price, I also have the normal Zyklop full metal ratchets & I love them, these are more expensive then the normal ones so unless you would really benefit from the rotating head I would save the money & go for the normal full metal body Wera ratchets. I feel you would really need to benefit from being able to adjust the angle of the ratchets head to justify spending the extra money.

I am a big fan of Wera tools and have many of their screwdrivers, so it was only natural when I needed a 1/2 ratchet that I would get this one. I have been eyeing up these Zyklop ones for ages as I imagine the rotating head is going to be very hand for getting around objects when working on a car.I've only just received it, so not used it much yet, but the weighty quality feel to the tool is really satisfying, it feels practically indestructible. Very happy I finally bought one. Highly recommended.

I brought this as a upgrade, I wanted more leverage than my 3/4 inch ratchet socket set could give, and I am impressed at the leverage, and versatility of the tool. With its smooth ratchet action, you have a screw screwdriver, (provided you have purchased the adapter) and ratchet socket set, all in one.

Very good piece of kit and well made. Angles are very handy for akward to get at nuts. A bit pricey but there again you pay for what you get. I am using Ratchet along with a Teng tool set I have and the combination of the two is great.

This is a great, well engineered and well designed piece of kit but as it's only 270mm long it's not really 'hardcore' e.g. weel nut removal. Also the handle is not shaped to accept an extension bar for more leverage.

Looks and feels really good quality, time will tell on reliability obviously but I've no reason to think it wouldn't last. Has a nice solid feel to it, handle is comfy in the hand. Good purchase.

This is a very sturdy tool, like everything else made by Wera it has a solid feel, fine tooth movement, and the swivel head makes it very useful for starting the fasteners.

Brilliant tool, excellent ratchet which allows the angle of the handle in relation to the head to change, very handy.Quality is great and it's comfortable to use

This a quality piece of engineering. The minute you pick it up you know you have a quality tool.. beautiful ratcheting mechanism and smooth operation. Love it.
