This is my first pair of "five finger" shoes. I decided to spring for them on recommendations from a couple other blogs I won't name here. I was looking at "barefoot" shoes trying to decide what was different from my Mephisto sandals other than a thinner sole. I am SO glad I tried the Vibram "Five Finger". I could not be happier, the spring is back in my step.I've spent most of my youth and any adult opportunity to be barefoot over the course of my life. I've worn moccasins, sandals and flip-flops over the later decades to recapture that same feeling without the tougher soles of my youth. I've lost the leather soles my feet had as a youth and these replace them quite nicely.A couple observations,I rated these "fit as expected", I sized them off the Vibram website not Amazon. Size table on Amazon is one size too small (at least for me). Order the next size up like I did and they should fit just fine. They are "gloves for your feet", expect to work them on one toe at a time. If your small toe curls under that can take a little time. These are not "kick them on and run" like driving mocs, loafers or flip-flops(at least for me).If your toes are not used to being individually surrounded, you may need to work up to longer durations wearing the shoe The skin between your toes will no longer be protected by the adjacent toe.A final thought to ponder, if you drive a clutch, you will learn to position your foot more carefully, it really is like driving barefoot and no-one would ever do that - right? It took me about 45 minutes to get used to shifting again. Now I like a stick-shift even better because I can "feel" the clutch better. Now the rest of the upside, I have more spring in my step with translates to more energy overall. They weigh essentially nothing. My gravel driveway no longer exists (I could feel that through my moccasins). I stand straighter with shoulders back. Yep posture changed too, I can feel and see the difference. I put them on as soon as I get home (these are not dress shoes like my Rockports).I chose the Hemp to be cooler, they look better in tan as well, closer the color of my feet. I have "neoprene river shoes", the soles of the CVT are not the same. They are head and shoulders superior in protecting your foot. The sole has great traction. I can go on, I think you get the idea that I like them by now..If you share a preference for being barefoot like me, you will not regret investing in a pair of the CVT-Hemp shoe.

Wow, these are the 5-finger shoes I've hoped for since my first pair several years ago. Amazingly comfortable and unbelievably light weight. They are marketed for casual use but I practically live in them and use them for trail running as well. Lot's of gravel and pebbles on my trails. They keep stuff out (KSO) almost as well as my old KSO Treks which were designed for that, but at half the weight, and they come off and go on much easier if you need to shake out a pebble. I don't yet know how well the soles will hold up to trail running, but for all the benefits, I would be willing to buy several pairs (this is my second pair, but the first pair is holding up well so far).I am not particularly interested in the folded down heel function but it does work really well. The penny loafer thing across the top of the forefoot might appear decorative but seems to function well as a forefoot stabilizer that doesn't need adjustment. I agree with other reviewers to go one size up from your usual five finger size. A 43 is perfect for me in the older Bikila LS, and 44 is perfect for me in this model.

This is a great pair of five finger shoes! Very very comfortable. However take note these are slip on five finger shoes. Being they do not lace up these need to be a bit snug. Mine are a bit smaller than my other pairs, I’ve purchased five pair thus far in different styles and love them all. Once these are broke in they should feel very very nice.Just keep in mind these are slip on’s so they will be a bit tighter than lace up or string versions. The feel is an adjustment, at no point are my toes cramped.

These are very comfortable, and breath a little better than the other fabric models, but not as good as the leather ones. They do get a lot of positive comments on their looks. Overall I would recommend them and buy them again.WARNING: They run VERY small. I normally wear size 42-43 Fivefingers, with the 43 normally being a little loose. The 43 in this model wouldn't even go on at all. The 44 is a slightly tight fit. I'd buy a 45 next time.

I LOVE these vibrams and have been a vibrams fan for a long, long time. Only problem with them is you need to try them on first and understand the feel. These are my favorite of the vibrams I own but I had to return these due to them fitting too small. This would have been my size (46) but as a "slip on hemp fabric type" of vibrams these were too painful on my feet. I am waiting for them to make more and have more size 47 available.

I just bought my 2nd pair and the first ones are still going. I bought a pair last year for the summer and LOVE them. I always wanted to try toe-shoes and when I saw this style I decided to try them. With the neutral color instead of some of the bright colors that shout " look at me " they have. So I bought this 2nd pair while they are on sale .and will put them away for when ever the old ones where out.

Great mininalist shoe, fits well using the size chart. There is a technique you have to adopt to get into "toe shoes" like these, I like to set the shoe down flat, fold the back flap of the shoe down, slide my big toe in first, one by one lining up my toes left to right with their slots until I can get my foot in and lift the back up over my heel. Takes some getting used to. Great, durable little shoes!

I read the reviews before ordering so I ordered a size larger than usual...I'm 9.5 and ordered 10.5...and it's a good fit overall. The smallest toes on both the right and left foot barely fit into the pocket but I am really enjoying wearing them in the house for now before walking around outdoors in them. They are light and comfortable and I know the more I wear them the more I will like them even more.

I have gone through over a donzen pairs of VIbrams through the years. Classics, SeeYas, KSOs and Sprints. All of them have been 45s. I ordered these in black and khaki in 45 and they were too small. They forced my toes to bend just enough to be uncomfortable. I had to return them for 46. Those feel just about right (not big). So I would suggest ordering a size up. Otherwise, they are pretty good.

Yes they are pricey but how else can you experience the fivefinger barefoot shoe feeling. After trying another brand and returning the same day I ordered my fivefinger vibram and what a totally different fit, feeling. They are definitely not all day long distance shoes but I know that think comfortable here me shoes or quick shop run be great.

My wife got me hooked on Vibram Five Fingers several years ago and we both own several pair. This style runs a bit smaller than other styles in the same size so I did up a size for these. I have 2 pair and switch up when one is getting washed. The wear well and wash up like new, I set them out to air dry. About the only shoes I wear anymore.

They do run small so you need to order sizes probably two sizes larger than what you normally do on the vibrant shoesOther than that I love the shoes they’re nice and soft and very comfortable like you don’t even have shoes on. Was able to wear them but they were way too tight so I’m ordering a size larger and returning these ones

My partner is only ever barefoot or in Vibrams and he loves this style in particular. He says they're his favorite pair so far, primarily due to the flexibility of the canvas top, comfortable fit, and earthy feel the hemp provides. He has worn them everyday four months now and they've held up perfectly. Highly recommend!

So I've owed 5 pairs of 5 fingers size 46 and these like all the rest fit perfectly, don't believe the reviews that say they are one size too small. Here to tell you they are my favorite pair, they are supposed to be tight because the are minimalist shoes, buy them, they are perfect for bike riding and going to dinner!

2.8.2017

Very Comfortable, but run small, I ordered 43, my normal size and had to return, 44 fit perfect, but then had to return them (should have kept them, fit like a glove) but starting come unsewn, so ordered the 44 again and this time running closer to size, so mighta shoulda ordered the 43, so good luck.
