I purchased this about three and a half years ago and it has been used nearly daily for travelling with a Jack Russell who tends to moult. It has kept the rear seats and footwells quite hair free, just a little gets through, probably when I pick him up to put him in, but has made cleaning the car so much easier.Occasionally, I use it across half the rear seat when there is a passenger beside him and this is easy to do. The metal rods keep the structure more stable than other styles and help to stop the dog from pushing it down.In all this time, only one of the fastenings has broken ( on one of the rear headrests) .I replaced this with a length of cotton tape that I could tie around the headrest,

I was amazed at the price of the "Trixie 1320 Protective Car Blanket".But after reading other customer reviews and considering that the price was much cheaper than other equivalent products we bought one for a trial. The quality of the covers design and manufacture is excellent, it has adjustable straps that loop round the front and rear seat head rests and our dog has been its "test pilot" for durability. We live at the coast and the covers waterproof backing is a godsend in protecting our cars complete rear seats, (and the backs of the front seats). Our dog so far has tested it with rain water, sea water, sand, mud and bits of sea shore debris. The delivery of the cover was fast.

Waterproof and dogproof. There are slots secured with velcro to access the rear seat safety belt buckles. There are loops which I assume go round the headrests front and rear. At least I think that's what they are for - there were no instructions so I had to get my head around that one. Once fitted it does a good job.(After 6 months of use)The fabric is beginning to show signs of wear, where the dog's claws have picked away at the lining.I now realise I could have simply bought a plastic tarpaulin for a fiver and tied it to the headrests with a bit of string. It wouldn't look tidy but it would do exactly the same job.

I bought the Trixie protective car cover as I had 2 Bichon Frise's who come just about every where with me and were ruining my leather car seats. This is a strong well made cover with proper snap together webbing straps that go around the head rests. It is big enough to fit my land rover and covers all of the seats. It also stops the dogs leaning through the seats to me in the front. Good zips for the dogs seat belt opening too. Very pleased and way better than some of the cheaper options that are available. I have bought a few things from Trixie for my dogs and the quality is always really good.

I had bought cheaper items elsewhere, and was about to give in when I saw this. As others have said, its strong, waterproof, well made and big enough to cover the back seat of my (quite big) Toyota car.Ive not been using it long, so cant say how long the fasteners will stand up, but they look strong.It is a little slippy for the dog, so I throw an old blanket on top, just to keep him happy. Unless I post a revison or update...just take it that its still working fine....june 2015, and still using this. a few wee holes in it, but nothing major. its been a great buy.

This is my second purchase of this car seat cover. I have been really happy with the first cover. It covers the back car seats entirely and are well secured to the head restraints of the back and front seats. The back seats are totally protected from dirty paws and any scratches that might occur. Because the cover is attached high up to the front headrests the dogs can't get into the front of the car which is an advantage. I now have covers for both our cars and would recommend them to anyone wanting heavy duty protection.

This is a really good seat cover.We live near the sea and our dog is always in the sea but this is the best cover we have found for keeping the seats dry.As our dog moves around alot when he is in the car we were so please to find that it has stay in place and the zips for our dog's seat belt makes it so much easier to put them in.I also rung the company up about the size's as i was not sure with it being in mm's and not Cm's she was so helpful told me everything i want to know.Would really recommend this seller.

This is just what I needed to keep the back of my car pet hair free.I only have a car with a small boot which is a bit cramped for 2 collies, so they have to travl on the back seat. This enclosed hammock keeps all the hairs in one place making it easier to clean.I have one complaint on this product, that is the side zips are not heavy duty, I have had to repair one already as my dogs travel with me quite regulary. A more heavy duty zip would get it a 5 star rating !!

I purchased this item after looking at various similar products and reading the reviews on Amazon. I am very pleased with the quality of this seat cover - it is strong, waterproof and well designed. I was concerned that it may have been to big for my narrow Suzuki town car but it fits very well and covers the entire back seat area. This of course may concern owners of large vehicles but I'm sure it would do the job well in most ordinary/average sized cars.

Fits into the car in a matter of minutes. The cover and sides are both reinforced with flexible poles and this makes it much easier to place and get the sides zipped in. This and the non slip base for the dog, sets it apart from cheaper versions. Good value for money. My only gripe is that the zips for the side panels are very small and fiddly - could have done with chunkier zips. It would have got 5 stars if it had not been for the zips.

What a brilliant product. Very clever design as it protects the car and the dogs as, with it being looped over the front seat headrests the dogs can't hurtle forward if you have an emergency stop. My husband's car used to look like a kennel! but this has certainly saved the day. Have already told the seller how good it is. The service was also super-fast as it only took 24 hours to arrive. Will certainly use this seller again.

These are absolutely brilliant covers - they are a great size and shape, and I've also used mine to cover chairs and then put a soft blanket on top. They're a great thickness and wash down easily when they get mucky. I have two cocker spaniels and they have one each. They do the job brilliantly!

This product is really easy to fit, just clip the ends around the front and back headrests. It also has little flaps which slide into the side of the back seat to prevent it creasing up.Very easy to clean, just wipe it down with some baby wipes. Great product.

Use this Protective Car Blanket for the whole back seat and floor. For my Grandkids. Out of school, covered in mud, not good for a new Motor. Fed up of cleaning after them, modified for seat belt use. Perfect. Maybe motor industry could take note.

Great product. Well made with options for attaching to car. Extremely secure and I have a large GSD and Collie and they dont move(the mats). I have two one for each side of the cage, and neither dog has slipped. Quick delivery and well packaged.
