This is a very nice, easy to drink, single malt. If you like your whisky on the sweeter, sherried side then I'd expect you to like this. It has enough of the sherry to be noticeable without crowding out the whisky-ness. If you generally go for the Islay peat monsters then this is probably not something you'd be looking to drink regularly, but you might appreciate it with a meal after dessert. I like quite a broad range of malts and I'm not bothered where they're from, whether they're age statemented or not, etc, etc. The truth is in the bottle, not on the label... For me, this is a nice wee dram,

Nice whisky but strangely not as nice as when I tasted it in the distillery itself / perhaps I had had too much in the tasting experience by that time to really tell, seems a little sharper on the tongue and the port fruit notes don't come through as well as I remembered.

I used to think the Islay malts were my faves, but not now.I love this, and so bought another bottle, and that’s finished now so I need another.If anyone knows any other single malts that are as sweet and gorgeous as this please let me know, I’m converted.

It was a present for my husband who thinks it wonderful; but I'm sure I asked for a message to be put on the box/bottle but there wasn't anything. A bit dissapointed.
