It may be a core range, and it may be the only Clynelish available without resorting to insane auctions and elaborate heists, but its very very very good stuff.You want honey notes - you got it! (muscovado sugar, honeycomb)You want tropical notes - you got it! (mango, grapefruit, papaya)You want slight peat notes - you got it! (slight earthiness, salty, no smoke)This, to me, is a model standard of how whisky should be produced when its your core product and is produced almost infinitely and distributed all over. It's like the Golden Retriever of whisky. The pricing is totally on point also. Its quintessential.

Sweet, floral and fruity but deceptively complex. Great for beginners and seasoned whisky drinkers alike, which I think makes for a great gift. I like taking a few of these on business trips to Japan (way easier to pack a few of these bottles into a suitcase than a few full sized ones). Always comes in handy. You know, the whole gift giving culture they got going over there... Convenient size and a scotch whisky is usually appreciated... if they drink, of course!

This floral yet complex malt is one of my favourites and represents outstanding value for money. I recommend adding a half teaspoon of water to a dram and then waiting 10 minutes before drinking, it really makes a dramatic difference in releasing a huge range of flavours. This malt, for a 14 year old, is hugely complex with each small sip bringing a new taste.

Great bottle.Very well presented bottle would make a a brilliant gift. Comes in it’s own gift box exactly the same as if you were to buy the large bottleThis is not your smokey whisky. this is perfume pretty sweet whisky. No harsh alcohol burn perfect for someone just starting out on whisky or someone that doesn’t want Peated smokey flavour

Whisky is wonderful. The packaging was suspect though with the bottle packaged upside down in the box, meaning when I lifted the bottle tube out of the box the top of the tube opened and the bottle fell out and would have broken on the floor had I not caught it with my knees and testicles

So many Whiskies Theres one for everyone, this is mine. I only found this distillery while touring the North 500. The vast majority of their spirit goes to Haigh. This is a wonderful whiskey. Last dunk yesterday when Scotland beat England at twickers. Must order anot gr er bottle.

My favourite tipple but guess what. The bottle was a present sent to a friend but when I received the order confirmation supplier asked the address for the 2nd bottle - I'd 'inadvertently' ordered TWO. No problem, it's residing in my drinks cabinet almost 50% consumed.

I've currently got about 20 malts in my collection but somehow keep reaching for this one... Just poured a shot and thought I'd say thank you to people who make this nectar. It is very smooth, perfectly balanced and has a long warm finish - a perfect winter tipple.

Lovely tipple.I have tastes on very opposite ends of the Whisky scale, with my two favorites being Glengoyne and Talisker.I felt this was the perfect match for the middle ground, quite sweet and a hint off smokeyness at the same time.Well worth a go.

As a lover of Speyside single malts (rather than more peaty varieties) I found this to be a delicious rare gem of a whisky. It simply could not survive in my collection on account of the demand for rigorous testing. I shall now buy another!

Bought this after hearing so many positive reviews and not disappointed.Refreshing to see Diageo presenting their product at a higher strength, it makes all the difference.Looking forward to trying some other bottlings in future.

Absolutely gorgeous Scotch with aromas of pineapple and (famously) candle wax. Bottled at a very decent 46% ABV, this is a fine example of Diageo's preservation of the character of its more distinctive distilleries and products.

Was sceptical buying whisky online, but went ahead given that clynelish isn't your normal supermarket brand. To my surprise, the order arrived in 1-2 days. Bought this as a gift for a whisky connoisseur and it was well received.

Definitely a drink for grown-ups who can appreciate it's warmth and character. A north-east coast malt, full bodied with the tang of the sea and moorland of it's origin, softened with a hint of vanilla. Caithness in a bottle.

Has all the palate you'd want without the harshness and without the sherry override to get rid of that harshness. Wonderful waxy finish. Its hard to imagine a better whisky unless you're into peat or sherry.
