The north face Shinpuru II jacket for me is a new product not yet tested in the mountains. The first impact is positive. I dressed in the shower. It is very waterproof and water-repellent. It is a technical jacket for climbing and I tried how it works with a helmet. Here the hood could be a little bigger, especially in the chin area. The zippered pockets that should work as central ventilation points in heavy rain caco won't work because they let water in. They only serve when it's not raining hard. The best solution is hinges in the armpits, which are not available here. I am generally happy with this jacket for now and I believe that the small shortcomings do not bother me too much.

Looks good, very light, size is a little bigger. I like it . I only miss lockable pocket for valuables, keys..
