It's not easy finding a 3x puffer stile jacket so thank you Columbia for that. Some shirts I wear are 2x, some are 3x, it depends on the manufacturer and even one style shirt to the next. Thanks to modern manufacturing, right?Onto the jacket. The fit is generous, I have LOTS of room in this which I like. If you like a more snug fit, you may want to consider ordering down. The jacket is warm without being TOO warm, also something that I value because I prefer a layered approach to warmth. I've used it in the upper 40's to the teens here in the Great Lakes region. The DWR finish seems to hold up well so far, though I did wash it first with Granger's.So to nitpick on the jacket,

I was expecting to see a much thicker, padded jacket, but it is classed as light (lite). It is more suited to springtime when there is a more warmth in the air. The outer skin is a lightweight, satiny fabric, the padding is slight and there are knitted jersey sections (inner side of arms and down sides of torso) on the garment. It is primarily made of nylon and polyester. There's a hood, full-zip to front, concealed drawstring to hem and zipped side pockets, The medium (M) comes up about a 38-41 inch chest. It's supposed to resist some water, so that's good and can be washed on a cold wash. Quality-wise it is reasonably well made and I admit that I am not familiar with this brand,

Reviewing – Black Jacket.Love this jacket, its so lightweight and looks great. Its perfect to roll up and throw in a cabin bag for a short break away. I recently took it on a city break, it doesn’t crease, it’s wind proof and water repellent, ideal for this blustery, showery June weather we are having.Its my go to jacket for dog walking round the park and also to pop on after I’ve been running. If you are in to walking I think this would be an excellent jacket, its incredibly light weight to carry. The pockets have a really warm fleece lining and are zipped plus the jacket is hooded. The padding feels super thin yet really keeps you warm.I’ve had lots of comments that the jacket looks very smart,

Product is original and well packed, arrived very soon(in 2 days from NL to TR) but local custom personell tested my patience a bit... Anyway I ordered L and fits great. Im 183 cm and 100kg.I suggest no matter how many kg, 180cm and above must order at least L size.I got sweat just whilst taking photo of it on me.Heating is awesome. Bangs for bucks , £67 , hard to beat.Medium warm not as warm as down puffer.Large sizing, well made, water resitant coating effective. Adjustable hood and drawstring waist.As day to day jacket a good warmth to walk about in freezing cold without being too hot and could do a freezing sports game with a warm jumper or fleece. I've found any 'breathable' jacket even high end ones will still get you sweaty when working hard this one is okay.Although a bit heavy I have used as a rucksack belay jacket to put on when I've stoped for a break hill walking.

I was after a new jacket in this style, after ruining my down filled one by washing it - this one isn't down but I think that might be plus, as it make taking care of it easier. The jacket itself is well made - very good quality, like you'd expect from Columbia. It's warm enough for me - it has nice fleece lined pockets, and features the onmi-tech reflective technology to reflect heat back in. It fits well (I bought a large), and it's big enough to comfortably wear a hoody or something under if needed. Overall, would defo buy again.

It's more a sweater than a jacket. Very light and thin. Thanks to them, a large amount of delicate filling can be very compressed. It is a pity that there is no suitable place for it, although you can turn it inside out and put it in a jacket pocket. Additional protection, very delicate, light, does not restrict movement. It will be useful on the trail, or it will be very convenient to cities. I do not recommend rain as an outer layer. Under the hardshell, as an additional insulation. Cool.

Mine is the peatmoss green version size medium. After first ordering a large version (in black) and realizing it was too big on the waist I sent it back for a medium peatmoss green one which I'm pleased to say fits very well despite having larger than average shoulders and arms. The jacket very snug, well fitted and warm, so far only worn it with a t shirt underneath. The green version looks fantastic and my wife has the black hoodless version of this same jacket. Highly recommended!

So far I have not been able to test the jacket in extreme temperatures, but so far I am very satisfied. Since it was stated in the description that the jacket is very large, I have ordered a size smaller - fits perfectly! Sleeve length ideal, collar fits perfectly and the hips are also perfectly insulated. I particularly like the silver coating on the inside. You can clearly see that this is not just a "marketing gimmick" but really contributes to better isolation.

Got to say, I’m really impressed with this jacket.It really is warm!It’s quite adaptable due to it’s lightweight build in that you can easily layer up with a base layer (and mid if required) and still be comfortable and not feel restricted.It packs down small when required.It’s described as showerproof and it is but definitely nothing more but then you wouldn’t expect this material to be!My new ‘go to’ jacket for anything other than ‘proper’ rain!
