... which is crosscountry running with a dog. I haven't been doing it long and am just going into my first winter of out-door exercise so needed a good jacket. I chose this one as it was the price I wanted and a brand I recognised.I needed a long'ish one, but not too long, so it would not ruckle up while wearing the 'fancy' harness the dog is attached to me with. I am 5'2" and it reaches just down to the tops of my thighs. I often run in exposed places so it needed to be windproof; and rainproof but light and breathable as it is often showery here even in warm weather. It comes in a wee waterproof stuff-bag with a pull closure so you can carry it easily if the weather changes for better or worse.I wore it on wet autumn days,

This is a waterproof jacket. I've tested it in the rain and I didn't get wet, so I guess it does what it's supposed to! I am generally a size 10-12 and I ordered the size 12, which was right for me. The material is a bit see-through in as much as you could see the pattern on the sweatshirt I was wearing underneath, which was a bit disappointing - I had expected it to be thicker. But I now wear it over a plain coloured hoody, which looks fine and gives an extra layer of warmth if needs be. Another good reason for getting the size 12. To be honest, I wasn't too fond of the colour to start with. The reason I bought lime green is that I needed the coat quickly and it was the only colour available in my size on Amazon Prime!

I wanted to wait until I got a good soaking before reviewing - today it proved completely waterproof. This does just the job for keeping dry in the warmer weather. Really light, good deep pockets (can hold three dog leads), true to size. Better still, the hood comes down far enough to keep hair dry, but not down over your eyes, and is not so tight as to make you look as though you've escaped from an institution, but not so loose as to blow off at every gust of wind. Comes with its own carry bag but on 'iffy' weather days, comfortable enough just to tie round your waist. I've put 3 stars for warmth, as that isn't its purpose. I got a size 10 and it's just right, still allowing for a couple of thin layers beneath if needed.

I needed a lightweight, waterproof jacket mainly for dog walking. Since we’ve had unprecedented hot weather this year even when it rains it’s still so warm and humid. My current jacket was just too warm. This one is ideal. I ordered a size bigger than I need and it’s a perfect fit so maybe err on the side of caution when it comes to picking your size. It is waterproof...the seams are sealed and I’ve tested it in a pretty heavy shower. I like the fact that the hood is snug and won’t blow off in the wind. It comes in its own little bag although I probably won’t use this. Ideal if you want to store it in the car or even in your handbag.

Bought this as a running jacket as my current one wasn't waterproof. This jacket was described as both wind and rainproof. I was sceptical as to just how waterproof this jacket would be but I've been proved wrong. Even when out for a run in the torrential rain of Storm Ciara minimal moisture came through. In fact I got wetter from perspiration not being able to evaporate than from rain coming through the jacket. Delivery was fast and it came appropriately packaged. Would highly recommend for the price.

Used when running in medium rain for just over an hour. Reasonably windproof and breathable. Kept me fairly dry but did let water through on elbows and shoulders. However, for £12, this jacket offers reasonable protection and good elastic cuffs, high neck. Definitely order a size up. If I’d ordered my size it wouldn’t have fitted at all. To keep bone dry you will probably need to spend on an expensive running jacket, but overall, for the price, can’t fault as offers a reasonable amount of protection.

I would say the sizing of these jackets is a bit on the snug side. I ordered a 12 which is my usual size and it does fit but I don't think I'd be able to wear a big winter jumper under it. If I was going to buy it again, I'd go a size bigger. It is a flattering fit though and it looks quite smart and not too frumpy. It's really handy to keep in the car for the days when there's rain showers but it's too warm for a coat.

I ordered two of these in different colours and couldn't be happier with them. Great fit, great colours, great quality at discounted price. I have noticed that some people complained about sizing. I am a very small size 6-8 and size 8 I ordered fits perfectly so you might want to consider ordering a size larger than your regular. Otherwise a great jacket that I would highly recommend.

This is a fabulous jacket to take on a hike. It takes up very little room in my rucksack, weighs very little and gives me peace of mind that if the weather turns, I'm covered - literally!? I ordered a bigger size than I would normally wear so that it will fit on top of a number of layers if needs be. It is very well made and simply perfect for my needs.

So good! Have worn it for a walk during a cold, wet windy storm and I was dry and warm! Hood stayed in place as well - really nice fit and great quality!im a busty 18/20 so went for a size 20 and fits perfect, really nice length as well. Will buy more colours!I’ve also worn it for a run as its so lightweight, great jacket!

Very useful. Thin waterproof nylon type fabric (polyamide). Perfect for summer rain showers. Not too hot, easy to pack away in a bag. It's a good colour (navy). I normally wear size 8/10 and bought a size 10 which fits well. Took a few days longer to arrive than other amazon items, but worth the wait. Already tested twice!

I have waited to write this review until I had treated and tested the jacket. Well yesterday it was throughly tested. I played crown green bowls in a heavy rain shower. The jacket did not let me down. I stayed dry and it didn’t restrict me at all, I had wondered if I needed a larger size. I would recommend this jacket.

Brilliant jacket. Very flattering especially considering that it’s just a thin layer of plastic. Very well designed, the zip goes all the way to cover the throat area, and the hoodie fits tightly around the head. It’s perfect for all weather conditions. I am a size 10/12 and ordered size M which fits perfectly.

needed something for the winter to run in thats waterproof.i’m a size 10 so ordered a small.perfect for me as enough room to wear hoody or just T-shirt without limiting arm movement. Still gives you shape ( sorry rubbish picture ! )Was pouring today and mac got soaked but didn’t seep inside so very happy ?

Lightweight and packs down small enough in its pouch to put in a largish pocket or clip to a bag, backpack or even a belt loop. Great when I don't want to wear a jacket or coat (or carry an umbrella when out walking the dog!) but need to have something waterproof to put on when the weather's unpredictable.
