My old rainproof jacket was becoming pretty worn after 20 years (the lining, in particular, was ripped and the zip broken) - so I tried this as a replacement. I'm 70 and not especially fit, so this one should see me out easily.So far, so good - the size was pretty much as expected - I'd have liked it a bit looser, but I'm slightly bigger than the 3XL size advertised, in the chest and spare tyre anyway. I was surprised by the positioning of the velcro on the wrists - whoever designed this must have wrists like a gorilla's! I had to set the straps in the very tightest position, and even then... a bit loose.The weather changed during my first ride - a series of 5km runs along an undulating but flattish valley,

I'm not one for using capitalisation in writing, but this coat is BRIGHT it's so bright that it lends the walls of my hall a yellow glow when I put it on.It is also properly waterproof, which for my purposes as an all weather commuter is very useful. Be careful on this point when looking for cycling jackets - most are actually just shower resistant, which makes them lighter and more sport friendly, but less ideal for a 13 mile daily commute.The fit was as expected - I'm about a 42 inch chest, 5'11 and 89 kilos with a gut and it fits nicely with space underneath for a thermal layer (I ordered a large).It loses a star because the main zip isn't very smooth - it seems to grind and drag a bit rather than glide,

Very good. Quality waterproof for cycling but could be used for walking as it is well equipped with pockets. Would be a little heavy for some cyclists as it is not a super thin overcoat. However it is waterproof and , unlike a lot of very light weight jackets, it is breathable. At this price it is a very good buy in my opinion.

I got mine stolen so relieved to replace it. Nice fit - its not tight. Useful pockets. Nice lining so feels good on the skin and not sticky if you are sweating in it.The vents under the arms are useful. It doesnt have a hood so you will need to find an alternative for that.

A smart practical coat for cycling Only used it once so far in a short heavy shower it didnt leakIt is a warm coat doesnt seem to be very breathable you dont need to wear alot underneath it whilst cycling to be warmSize's do seem to be on the small sideDelivered quickly

I needed a do it all jacket for a cycling trip,this suited the job perfectly. At times the rain was horrendous,but thanks to the jacket,I stayed warm and dry. It was even smart enough to wear to the pub at night. Perfect

Light weight waterproof jacket.Just what I needed. Good quality finish, washed three times now and still looks good.I use it as top layer most of the off-road rides (especially now when it's rainy, widny and cold).

Having had an earlier model of this jacket which lasted well for years, I bought this newer edition with confidence. On an initial trip it exceeded expectations and I anticipate it will do so for a long time to come.

Good size and certainly water proof. i bought this jacket with enough room to wear a sweater underneath for the winter months on the bike and the size is generous.

This is exceptionally good value. Of course you can buy higher spec jackets; this does the job being completely waterproof, and so is unbeatable value!

Fits great and keeps me perfectly dry. Mostly protects from the wind but the area at the top of the arms seems to get some breakthrough wind.

I often struggle with the sizes of cycling clothing but this was bang on. Altura are definitely the make of choice if you're 15 stone plus!

Great fluorescent colour with many pockets. I wish the back was a bit longer to deal with muddy and wet roads while riding my bike.

Good quality, verrrry bright !!! ... Has some bulk to it which is good. Comfortable, good waterproof cover for other layers.

Lots of vents, light and most importantly, waterproof. I got the 3x version, which to be honest, is more like a 2.5x.
