I've only had this jacket for a week but it has been worth every penny so far as it has not stopped raining! I bought it for dog walking, to wear over a Berghaus fleece that I bought for the colder weather but also just over the top of just a t-shirt during the 'summer' months, like this week when it's been pouring with rain non stop. It literally is just a very thin, light weight jacket, not a coat. I've had my phone and keys in the pockets during torrential downpours and items have stayed dry. So far, so good!

I ordered a size 12 as some of the other reviews said the jacket was on the small size and I am glad I did as it felt more like a 10. Really nice design, its the first waterproof jacket that I have felt stylish in. It has actually got a shape to it and looks really smart I've had lots of compliments. Nice and lightweight but feels well made. I haven't tried it in heavy rain yet but its great in showers and the hood fits well. The cuffs have adjustable velcro straps which is good if you have shorter arms.

I went for a size up just because I knew I was going to be wearing layers under it and I didn't want it to be too tight. I just came back from the Lake Districts where were battled, rain, wind, sun and even hail at one point and this jacket kept me dry through all of it which was great. It's a very basic shell, so inside it not glamorous and it doesn't have any pockets on the inside, but I love the look, it's slimming and gorgeous purple colour. Now let's hope it lasts me for at least half a decade :D

I'm delighted with my storm cloud jacket, purchased for those summer holidays in the UK when you never know what the weather holds! Has already been used several times and kept me dry during light showers but haven't tried out in a downpour yet. Best of all it's incredibly lightweight and breathable and packs up very small for carrying in my rucksack!

I bought this to wear over my standard hiking gear, which is a shirt and a fleece if the weather is cold. The item fitted well and kept me dry. I would be cautious about the pockets and their waterproof ability. I had my pocket zipped with my work iPhone in it and somehow water got into my iPhone and rendered it useless.

Very waterproof. Fits well. Very light. Stuffs into small bag so it can be easily clipped to climbing harness or outside of backpack. Also, it seems to have some weather-improving powers, as both times I've put it on while climbing the rain immediately stopped. :D

Absolutely waterproof! Zip comes right up neck if desired so as hood fits snugly. Very well made, nicely shaped, and covers hips ( my height 5'2). Folds into a neat little bag when not needed. No lining layer, but can wear light fleece under it comfortably.

Fast delivery. Well-fitted jacket for me (usually wear size 8). It's better to choose one bigger size. I haven't had a chance to wear it on downpour. It's very light and thin. Those who want to wear it in the winter better to wear warm clothes inside.

A very light but completely waterproof fitted jacket that can be worn on its own in warmer weather or with a separate fleece for extra warmth. Easy to use zip that goes right to the top with a great hood that can be fitted to the individual.

Really pleased with this jacket. It isn't as easy to pack up as I expected but the quality is much better than what I was looking for. I haven't had time to use it it very wet weather but it definitely looks to be very waterproof.

Have only put 4 stars as haven't had time to put coat thought it's paces yet , I've been out in the rain and it held that out . It does make an annoying noise when walking but hopefully I'll get use to that .

Nice lightweight jacket. A little on the small side, but not complaining. If you wanted a loose fit, order a size up, otherwise the fit is "snug" without being tight. Would recommend this jacket.

This is a great jacket that is lightweight, a great shape and good length. I’m a size 12 and the 12 fits me fine. I love the deep blue colour with funky pink inner. Recommended.

Have had berghaus before looks very chic but is a little larger than previous hence 4 stars but happy anyway. Haven't tested for rain yet so will see.
