I bought this Hillwalker Long Gore-Tex Jacket in size 14 and the Winter Bloom (plum) colour as a waterproof outer shell to partner a compatible size 14 fleece I already had through Vine. The inner zips of the shell match across to the fleece exactly and the combined fit is perfect with no creases or ruckles or pulls. The Az illustration is correct in showing the styling and what to expect from the fit.This Berghaus long shell is everything one might expect from this brand, and we have proved it really is waterproof as well as windproof. The Velcro tabs on the wind flap hold it closed to protect the main zip from driving rain.

Super design, with lovely fit across shoulders yet still wide enough for my hips (size 14-16) - I had struggled to find this shape and fit in outdoor pursuits shops in Australia and the UK (most were designed for tall men - too wide in the shoulders and far too long in the body - so was delighted. Comfortable - tons of pockets, hood in zipped compartment. Looks great and hard wearing. LOVE this jacket - tested out for a week in early December in Iceland. Waterproof, largely windproof, and cosy with a fleece underneath. GREAT buy at the price and I feel great in this jacket - maybe not Scott of the Antarctic but pretty cool. :-)

This product's quality lives up the the marketing hype.I tried it in pouring rain for several hours whilst riding my bike and did not get wet or come away all clammy and damp.The bonus here is that my old well-loved Berghaus fleece, purchased in 1999, is compatible with this shell; and so gives the extra warmth when required.My old fleece also demonstrates the credentials of the brand - this surprised me in this age of disposable stuff and failure built into everything. I am now a believer in this brand - the expense is worth it!!

A huge thank you, As Summer 2020 is a typical wet Dartmoor summer, my new Berghaus is just Perfect!! Thank you, the hood does not flap around in the windy showers, Perfect length, and I'm only 5ft tall....but this is just perfect!!!

Absolutely love this coat - and a bargain from amazon! At least 60 quid cheaper than other outdoors stores. Great quality expected for Berghaus. Did a walk in practical blizzard conditions near helvellyn range and inside i ws dry!

I always have a Berghaus jacket for walking. They keep the wind out and the rain. They are lightweight but with a fleece underneath suitable for winter. I love this colour. The price was attractive.

Good quality and nicely made. Fit is good on the shoulders, chest and arms and true to size. Fit is rather narrow on the hips though. Length is a bit longer than most jackets which I like.

Love the colour, fits well, but would only get a very thin fleece under it.Good length ( maybe not as well made as my original Berghaus jacket which I’ve had about 20 years)

Bought for going walking all year round, bought a size up to give room for extra layers over the winter. Fits beautifully, is very well made and waterproof.

The coats lovely, had labels attached, ordered to big , would have ordered XL inst as but there aren't any so requested full refund , disappointed

Bought as a present for my wife. Has all the features and was a neat fit. No bargain but Berghaus quality worth it

I normally take a 14, which is the size of my older Berghaus, but had to return the size 14 and get a 16.

Excellent jacket good size and very light weight. Sold with out the fleece lining. Great price
