In terms of windproofing. It's legit, I walk around in high wind and don't feel the wind at all. Water proofing is good enough for a light shower, water will just bead off as long as rain is not too heavy. Don't expect this to keep you warm tho as it's very thin and lightweight. You will need a fleece for insulation. If you only wear a gilet underneath then the shell of the arm gets cold and thus your arms get cold. So this does what it's supposed to. Keep the wind out and a bit of the rain. Great for a run on windy days or a backup if it looks like rain later. Only thing that could be improved is hood adjustment. It could do with an extra toggle to keep the hood from drooping over my eyes
