I tried a few North face jackets before settling for this one. The fit of the Extra Large was perfect for me. I'm 5' 11 and 14 1/2 Stone and take an XL in most jackets, shirts and t shirts. The jacket is very warm when it needs to be. I am just wearing a polo shirt with it just now when I am out and dont feel cold or the wind in the slightest. Saying that it has only been between -2 and 10 degrees so far since i had it. Surprisingly i havent overheated either at the higher temperatures or in any shops. The jacket sits just bellow my hips in this size, just across the top of my bum which is the perfect length for me.

This coat was a bargain, thank you Amazon and more so as I wanted it in black which rarely gets reduced in price.It is extremely warm without a huge amount of bulk, you know you are wearing it but can freely move without feeling cumbersome and waterproof as well.Typical TNF quality and craftsmanship.The removable fur trim is a bonus as it can be irritating but it also helps keep warmth in.A multitude of available pockets, somewhere for phone, tissues, keys etc without looking like you’ve rammed your pockets with items.I would say it’s ever so slightly bigger size wise but good to get some layers underneath, the sleeves don't seem overly long for a mens coat.

Firstly I have to say this is a lovely jacket!!! The material quality and warmth is amazing. It also looks great.Please note when buying the sizes come up rather large. I am exact 38inch chest and found the small too large. Exchanged it for the Extra small and it fit perfect. If you are small than 38inch chest you probs want to avoid ( as XS ) is the smallest size they do!Once you get the right size, you’ll love it.Dec 2019: Update: still a great jacket and keeping me very warm this winter.. love it!If this review was helpful please hit the button below! Awesome jacket with the perfect balance between weight, comfort and heat retention.As some people said, the zipper could be better considering the price, no excuse to use plastic.SIZING: I'm 176m, 70kg and I'm wearing a XS jacket. I feel that there's still plenty of room to double layer and unless you like your jackets to be almost like parkas, sizing down is a MUST, imo.

Excellent quality and fast delivery. I bought the size I would normally buy and it fits perfectly. Very warm and dry, if you don't like that snug tingly feeling you get when your out in the rain but your warm and dry, this coat may not be for you lol. Would definitely recommend. Excellent quality, fits perfectly, keeps you warm and dry and looks stylish.

The quality of this jacket is top notch, it's completely waterproof and it's super warm as I used it in Iceland when the wind was 45kph and didn't feel a thing in the upper body. It's also much cheaper here on Amazon than on The North Face website or in their shops.I would say this is the best value-for-money for a waterproof warm jacket.

Top Tip - Go for a size smaller. I am normally a medium size, but went for a small based on other reviews and fits perfectly. Medium would have been too big!As you would expect from North Face, great quality jacket - Rainproof and Warm. Perfect ... shame the wife didn't like the price, but as I told her ... you get what you pay for :-)

Just got it, can not belive i did not own one of those yet, if you are looking for a nice breathe able and yet very warm court this is what You are looking for.Like other reviewers said, order size down since im usually M size and ordered S size which is perfect fit, still can put another jumper under it and wont fill “trapped” in it

Was about to pay 340 for the same jacket in Pearsons, found on Amazon marketplace for 191 pounds in a brand new condition with tags, AMAZING value. The jacket itself is heavyweight and very comfy, would recommend sizing down as ually an XL but got an L and may have even been fine with an M. Great jacket

Yeah. Good jacket out of the box. Great quality in the detail. I'm a medium chanced my arm based on other reviews and ordered a small. Perfect fit and can still wear light layer jacket underneath. North Face seem right up there with quality and innovation. Bit expensive but will last for quite a while

If i was anyone who is interested in buying this go on the north face website and do a hight, age weight and it gives you proper size i was just below medium my size i went for a small top jacket 11,10 the only thing I think they could have hidden the zip when faux fur is off not ideal look still ?

Absolutely fantastic coat. Delivers everything you’d expect from North Face. Just double check sizing as I’m a medium in every cost I own, but this medium size was way too much across the chest and in length. A small is a much better fit, if you’re normally a medium.

It is a lovely coat and I am very pleased with it, the North Face fit guide was spot on.Not sure I would have paid full price so thank you amazon but compared to the cost of a Canada Goose it is exceptional value (and they do not trap wild wolves to use their fur!)

Ordered this for my son, followed the guidance on sizing but it was a bit too small so exchanged for next size up. Exchange was quick and easy (so much better than expected) and the Jacket itself is a great product, my son loves it and it keeps him toasty warm.
