Excellent value for a jacket to use daily in almost all weather. For clarity I live in Scotland and it has done fine in the cold, drizzle and even rain.The good;-Very lightweight and comfy even on top of a hoodie or jumper.-Warm enough for most days.-Perfect fit not loose or tight. People have commented that it looks stylish.-Waterproofing is fine for light rain and showers.-Two big zippy pockets and another smaller one inside, enough to keep everything safe.-Good value ( I bought mine for £50 )The bad;-I wouldn't say it's warm enough for a really cold winter day on its own. I think that's ok as it's light and comfy so more layers underneath is fine.-Not waterproof enough for really heavy downpours.Would definitely recommend this to anyone for a good value,

This is my second Thermoball hoodie, the first one is still going and thats a bright coloured one for hiking. This one is a smart one for nights out. Had several compliments on it since getting it. Its an ideal jacket for the UK where its often a bit cold and a bit wet. I just grab this and fo now. Very very happy with it. The pattern makes it look woven which adds to it looking less outdoorsy than the plain ones. I’m a mens medium in North face and this one is a good fit, even over a thick jumper.

Love this top (when it was reduced to £50) and the front fabric is great - however, the arms and back are a knitted fabric and look great at first but when you have worn and washed it a few times it becomes a bit bobbly and worn - it also attracts fluff and hairs too which is a shame.If you just wear this to go out in it is great, if you wear it daily it may take its toll on the fabric like any other fleece, for this price i would expect better.

Quality piece of clothing. Red and brown look really good together. Feels luxurious to wear. Can wear tee shirt hat scarf and this and be really warm, no need for jumper.Some have commented on the hood. Maybe in very strong head on winds possibility of hood blowing off but if also wearing a hat unlikely.Decent size pockets. Paid around £70 for this, saw next day in a shop on sale for £155. Definite bargain. Would buy again.

Would have given this jacket 5 Stars if there was a cord to tighten the hood around your head / face. If walking into the wind the hood billows out expos My yourcface and head to the elements. On the plus side for a light weight jacket this item is very warm. I have worn it with a T-shirt and light fleece in the recent cold weather with no issues at all. Definitely recommended.

Used this as an external lining jacket throughout the winter. Worked a treat. Use a fleece as an inner lining and this jacket as the outer, you don't feel the cold at all.During the spring, the jacket is useful to keep in a bag, as when in thr evenings it turns a bit nippy, you can wear it too keep warm. Got it at a good price.

Great Jacket. Warm even for skinny people like me! I bought this as my montaine spitfire one was too hot for October. This is just right! Solid medium warmth jacket. Somewhere between a raincoat and heavy winter mountain jacket - perfect middle ground jacket. Also, still insulates very well when wet. Hoody is great too.

Outstanding coat. Perfect for the spring- autumn seasons. Just keeps the chill out and keeps you dry in a medium shower. Will work as a good base layer in winter as well. Definitely my favourite TNF coat to date and I’ve 5 of different styles. The only one I would buy again.

I love the thermoball hoodie jacket. It's very lightweight but also warm enough to wear with a t shirt. The elastic tighteners inside the jacket ensure that it fits very well. I would recommend this jacket both as an outdoors jacket but also for casual wear.

This coat is great for travelling. The way it folds into a tiny bag is unreal. Only weird thing was a size small was £55 and medium was £75. I got a small and would rather have had a medium but decided to just stick with small given the price difference.

Upgraded my very old north face puffer to this more modern, very vivid green version. Fits like a glove in a medium on me,5ft11,slimmish middle-ager! Looks really good-haven’t rested it out in cool or cold weather yet but I’m sure it will do the job.

Excellent jacket,perfect fit,bought the same jacket from another amazon seller but had to return it,it was supposed to be a large but no way it was-bought this one instead as i already have a thermoball jacket and the fit is as it should be

45 quid - are you having a laugh? best price I've seen by at least 70 quid. Super light, and warmer than my mountain equipment down jacket which is three times the bulk. Awesome jacket, especially if you need to save on pack space/weight.

Was looking for a comfy jacket that would keep me warm and dry but one that wasn't too bulky and this ticks all boxes. The only negative is that the item description says the hood is adjustable but it's not at all so ignore this.

I bought this for my son who is studying at a seaside uni and likes to go for long bracing walks on the beach in winter. He loves it, it's very light but keeps the heat in and there's also a hood on this one. Great buy.
