I bought this as I am a teacher and it helps me to deliver my sessions much more professionally. Build quality as you would expect from targus is spot on, high quality plastics and rubber grip on the underside makes it easy to use all day long.Also has a laser built in so you can point to the screen but be careful if it reflects off a shiny suurface and into someones eye. I tend not tto use the laser because of that.It tkaes 1 AAA battery for operation but also has storage onboard for a spare so you wont get caught out with a dead battery. The receiver is also stored on board when nott inn use so you wont loose it. Battteries are included.Overall a great purchase II think and at the price Argos has it at,

I'm a trainee teacher and anything that makes my life a little bit easier is fantastic. I use this remote when the desk is a bit too far from the whiteboard so I don't have to disrupt the pace of my lessons to walk over to the laptop and change the slide. I also like the function which blanks the screen, it means I can discuss something else without turning off the projector and can get back to it quickly if I need to.The remote is small enough to fit in my pocket, but not too small as to misplace it, and storing the USB inside the unit is a great idea too.Overall I would highly recommend this little gadget.

I ordered this product on line in the morning and picked it up some hours later....no problems! I then travelled to Newcastle to carry out a presentation the next day. I practised in the evening and found the 'Laser Presenter' was so easy to use and very versatile. With the laser pointer, the option to go back to a slide and blank the screen made the usual 'death by powerpoint' experience a pleasure. No more hanging over my laptop pressing the wrong buttons or timing out during the presentations anymore...worth it's weight in gold.....well almost :-)

As a University lecturer I use this all the time and have had no problems with it so far. It is the cheapest in the market with its capabilities but there is room for improvement in its design: it is much bigger than what other competitors offer and not very stylish. Plus, you need to open the battery compartment to take out the usb receiver. This is very inconvenient and I suspect the cover back will eventually loosen up from taking it off and putting it back so frequently. On a plus side, the battery lasts for ages!

Not the best made item in the world but very good value for money.No software drivers to add so if you are using it for work on a system that does not give you admin rights you can use it, just plug and play.The fact you can store the dongle part of the presenter inside the actual handset is great as I know one of us would loose it!!!The only draw back is that if you use the laser pointer it doesnt show up on a TV screen however if using a projector this isn't an issue.Very simple and easy to use.

This pointer is great! Works completely with MS PowerPoint 2010, in all views (normal and presenter view). Great red laser. Nice easy buttons. Clever locking function to stop pressing wrong buttons. Simple and ergonomic to carry in one's hand. Great idea with the back-up battery compartment. Clever design with the tiny dongle fitting inside the pointer.Overall, a very well-designed piece of essential equipment for presentations. You won't be disappointed (unless you want it to speak for you as well!!)

Very good product!Cheapest one I could find in any local stores.Works well with the ability to switch slides in powerpoint, laser pointer and also a handy little button to make powerpoint go into/out of slideshow mode. Am very happy with it. Only negative I realised that the battery was popping up when I put the back on and therefore knocking it off. I just got a little bit of selotape to hold it down in place to prevent it from popping out and is working perfectly now.Would definitely recommend

I've had a few ‘clickers’ in the past, some came with whistles and bells & a matching price tag. This is however so simply it’s a joy. Smaller than my previous one so isn’t a distraction in your hand. The functionality is good, allowing you to blank off your presentation with one click and also to take it in/out of presentation mode The USB thingy fits inside the device, so decreasing your likelihood of losing it. Simply plug it in & use it, no installing software. Can’t recommend this enough.

Purchased this product for presumably the same reason as everyone else.... to present.It does the job, and a key feature I liked was the lock button which although a simple concept can be effective. It allows the user to only move back and forwards between slides.The pointer is bright enough also, and although it is not something I would normally use I can see the value in having it.All in all a good value product, something sensible and useful that is not too cheap or expensive.

Very practical 'Plug-N-Play' great tool for presentations. Operation is simple and intuitive - great functionality to blank the display to produce 'focus on me' moments during presentations. Laser pointer isn't the brightest - but is very adequate. Some reviews talk about USB being stored in the back of the presenter being fiddly to access - not found this to be an issue. Only 4 stars because the build standard feels a little flimsy - time will tell if it survives in the real world!

Does a very good job for its price, and would recommend to any fellow teacher who does presentations via 'powerpoint'..it's been a god-send to classroom / assembly management, allowing you to walk around the room, and not be 'pinned' to the computer at the front of the class. I've had one before... The 'old' design had a place for a spare battery, too, which was clever... This has now gone. Could be an issue if I forget to keep a new battery close to hand. Still highly recommended.

These features make this presenter particularly easy to use:• large & comfortable to hold• separate buttons for separate functions• visual indication on the control• selectable for PC/ Mac PowerPoint & Mac KeynoteThe control is solidly made and stylish.The USB receiver device stores nicely in the handheld control, but I would like to see a more positive attachment of the receiver to the control rather than just dropping into a dedicated slot within the battery compartment.

An excellent product.Intuitive to use and easy to setup - just plug the adaptor into a free usb port and wait 15 secs or so! The Windows 7 pc's I used it on recognised it without needing tme to load drivers or have admin rights.Opening the compartment to extract the usb connector is a bit fiddly, but you won't lose the adaptor and all of the other aspects more than compensate.Mac/ PC switch inside.The functions are all under your fingers and it is comfortable in the hand.

Very easy presenter to use, simple undo the packaging, fit the usb device and batteries, and you're off.Used this for an important business meeting and it worked effortlessly.Great feature of being able to turn the device off during a presentation, to save the batteries and turn back on again when needed.Have used similar devices before, they cost a great deal more but do the same job as this one, so why pay more?Handed usb storage, inside the device, which is brilliant.

I bought this presentation laser remote control to use it for demonstrating a project fo my interview. I used it a PowerPoint application on my windows 10 laptop. The buttons response is very prompt. It has a very nice design that fit in your hand. It is not too big or too small. I would highly recommend that for anyone who uses PowerPoint presentation. It might be very useful for other applications and devices but I have experience with it only for PowerPoint presentation..
