I have a 10 year old flat screen Bush tv and the remote hasnt worked properly for years. I had to push the buttons really hard to turn on the TV or control the volume, it drove me nuts.I bought this remote not expecting it to work but I'm pleasantly surprised and happy that it does. Putting in the code didn't work for me though I had to do the scan and search option and allow the remote to find my tv. It did take me two tries but I think that's because I may not have been quick enough pressing the key buttons.I'm now able to watch TV in bed again without needing to get up to turn it off or change the volume.

Easy to install, I skipped straight to the codes which unfortunately did not work, I then did an auto scan and the remote did not change the TV to the correct channel. However, on the very first page there are set codes eg grundig (2) if I had looked at the very first page in the booklet and done this in the first place it worked straight away. The remote looks sleek, buttons are a nice clear size, it's shiny on the back which gives it a smooth feel. Five stars for the product. Zero stars for me attempting to change my remote for the first time. Got there in the end though. Would I recommend this product? Yes absolutely!

Excellent product that works exactly as described. You just need to use the right code. I needed support with this item because the sound buttons weren't working, so I went to the manufacturers website and filled out the contact form. They got back to me quickly with very detailed and specific information which solved all of my issues. It turns out the code I originally used was not the correct one, despite it allowing some functionality - so if you can turn the TV on and change channel with this remote, but the sound or something else doesn't work, you probably used the wrong code!

Am thrilled with my new remote control!!! (I can't believe it took me so long to replace the old one.)Was advised to buy a Samsung one but thought I would risk this as it said it was easily programmable to different TV's.It was soooooo easy, 4 AA batteries and a quick read of the intructions and hey presto. It was done in less than a minute.Was really impressed, expected it to be a lot more complicated.All the functions seem available, haven't found one that is not there that we need.Excellent value for money, quick delivery.Would definitely recommend.

Elderly relatives (dementia) lost their controls. I ordered these for next day Prime delivery despite some of the reviewers complaining that set up was a problem. Their TV (JVC) was not one on the 10 easy one digit set up list, so I had to use trial and error through the four digit codes until getting the correct pairing. Whilst I would not say it was easy I managed to pair without too much difficulty. I cannot comment on using Smart TV functions as they only use them for the main channels but they have been a lifesaver.

Got an old tv with a weird make from my brother, the control that came with it didn’t work and I really didn’t fancy getting up every time I wanted to change the volume (which depending on how hard you pressed the buttons on the tv, also changed the AV too which was infuriating)So I bought this remote and it has worked perfectly, was a bit confusing to pair it to the TV, ended up giving up and just pressed a random sequence of numbers that happened to be the right sequence so all was wellWould recommend

Fantastic. Needed to replace my old remote that had become tempremental in its old age....even given it a whack didn't work anymore!! Tired of having to get up to use buttons on tv (far too retro for me!) Pointed at tv, followed instructions & hey presto, I can go back to being lazy. Instructions says it should take no longer than 36 seconds....think it took longer but whats a few seconds here or there. Massive list of brands but the top 10 are on the first page. Very pleased especially for the price.

so this all works well except there is no return button.i'll give an example,I go into the tv menu and I go through a number of tv options, on the original remote I could go back 1 step in the options menu, with this controller I cannot. all I can do it exit the menu and start again.the range is great. the buttons all work well. the remote was easy to connect to the tv. the battery life is very long. overall still a 5 star rating, the menu thing is a very minor issue I have personally.

My new JVC TV came with a very small remote control hardly suitable for adult hands so I wanted a larger control. This looked to be the one suitable for my TV. It looks very nice and set up was very easy however disappointment came when I found all the functions such as menu and channel listing did not work only the sound and channel keys, despite the claim that it was compatible with all makes of TV. I would be happy to hear if anyone has had the same problem and found a solution.

Bought to solve a problem of an OEM TV remote interfering with a fire. It wasn't super easy to set up because I had to go through several layers of codes within the manual. However, despite nearly losing faith at literally the last point in the process it worked ! For less than the price of petrol going back and fore to change the TV, or phonecalls to the TV and fire manufacturer this solved the issue. Build quality is decent, good buttons. A worthy replacement.

It works to switch on an off my TV. I also use it to control the volume. That's what I bought it for, as my original TV remote had become very much a hit or miss for switching on. I use my Freesat remote for everything else. However - the description said that it could work up to 3 separate gadgets. It doesn't. It works only the TV. Not a problem for me, as that is what I wanted it for. I just thought that it might come in handy if my Freesat remote ever fails.

Its great what can i say followed the easy instructions you have to put a code in relevant to your phone tv for LG there are loads all my features worked on the second code i put in you may have to try more than one took me less than 2 mins got 4triple aas from poundland and off you go its better than my original tv remote and the wide angle infrared means you can operate it from anywhere in the room you really can't go wrong for a tenner excellent product

Super quick delivery ordered on a Saturday came the next day nice and early, a beautiful remote with alot of relevant controls, works with all the branded TVs in my house, it has wide range signal I can be facing the opposite side of the TV and get clear connection and it looks nice and has a nice touch to it, i purchased about 5 universal remotes that all didn't work and this one worked perfectly! Definitely deserves 5 Stars

The "OK" button broke on the original remote so I could not retune a ca. 8 year old Techwood TV when channel listings changed. This solved that problem with a ca. 5 minute (if that) programming this remote to work with the TV. Pretty great value for money, IMHO.If there's one thing slightly off about this, it is that it is a little on the heavy side, but "heavy is good; heavy is reliable", according to Boris the Blade.

So simple, step one press and hold the magic button until it flashes, then if you are lucky enough to have one of the 10 preset brands on the list (1=Bush, 2=Grundig, 3=LG, 4=Panasonic, 5=Philips, 6=Samsung, 7=Sharp, 8=Sony, 9=Thomson, 0=Toshiba) press the corresponding number and it's all done! I cant comment on how easy it is to do if you don't have one of the preset brands as I have a Sony, but for me it is great!
