Really good remote but does not work strait from the box on older LG teles.I also noticed that some of the buttons are in different places.Menu being bottom left instead of the home button in the middle, is just one of a few but will get use to it in time.I presume that LG have changed there layout on there new remotes but it was a bit anoying as I am nearing my sell by date age wise.I must say overall this remote is great compared to my old one and seems to have a good range as well.

I needed a replacement remote for my television set in the lounge. It was easily purchased and available. It was found, delivered and paid for within minutes. It is better than the original remote I had and works easily and so far has been easy to clean around the buttons. It is also compatible with the television set I have in one of the bedrooms which saves purchasing another remote. My receipt was emailed to me with 14 day return guarantee if it wasn't fit for purpose.

Replacement for an original LG remote I dropped into a basin (doh)This worked straight out of the box. I only had to reprogram one of the menu buttons. Both brought up the settings menu, needed one menu button to bring up the app menu. I followed the instructions on how to reprogram a button & it worked first time. Don't understand how it worked, but it worked.Wish there were a couple of buttons that can be programmed as a 'hot' key to jump straight into Netflix.

My 87 years old Mother needed a replacement after spilling tea over her 6 year old remote. She has mild dementia and needed a model as close to the original as possible. The OneforAll worked straight out of the box without needing any reprogramming and although having a different layout, she has taken to it like a duck to water. It has surpassed my expectations and I have no hesitation in recommending it, and it was great value for money too. Excellent.

My original LG remote control's power switch stopped working, so I searched Argos to see if I could find a replacement and came across this one. I read through the reviews and decided to purchase one. This worked straight out of the box (need to insert 2 x AAA batteries) and I did not have to re-programme anything. I just had to get used to the buttons as some of them was placed differently to my original remote. Overall, I am very pleased with this.

We have a smart tv and needed a new remote after the dog ate the last one. This remote worked immediately didn’t need setting up just worked with our tv. The issue we have is that there is no home button it’s written about menu but this just brings up the tv settings not the smart tv home screen so we still have to use a remote control app on our phone to bring up the home screen which is a bit annoying but that’s the only issue we have

My LG tv, although not in the first flush of youth still is in excellent condition with a fab picture etc. , so imagine my horror when it's remote suddenly went berserk and started using a set of batteries every 2 days! There is no on/off button on my set it is all worked through the remote so it was with profound relief I found this on Argos. It worked with my tv instantly no finding codes or fiddling about. A superb product.

Have a smart lg tv where some of the original remote buttons have stopped working and labels have worn away. This replacement remote is better quality than the original and only required me to program one button for the smart function - which was very easy. When this remote wears out i will buy another one of these. All in all - a no fuss and better than original replacement and the price is ok too.

My LG remote control recently stopped working despite new batteries etc....so I read the reviews about this product and on the back of them I popped down to Argos to buy one.......and as others had said....put new batteries in, pointed it at the TV and that was it all done and working as you would hope!!An excellent looking product and it does exactly what you think it should do!!

Well, perfect remote.we thought originally it was problem with our TV with previous old remote.but, soon as we got it this new one home, out of box,popped batteries in, ( there included)pointed at our television it worked straight away.We didn't even have to read instructions, perfect quick,no more fustrated times getting our television to work.Thankyou Argos.

I purchased the LG remote to replace my old one which had stopped working due to wear and tear on the buttons, I put batteries in and it worked instantly, the only quibble I have is the back on the battery compartment is difficult to remove, it doesn't state you have to push down at the same time as sliding it towards you, other than that can't fault it.

It works some of the buttons are not the same as the original the info that came with it said put the remote controls facing each other and press the buttons you would like to work the same as the original one pact up this is a wast of time my be it should be set up at the factory there are some buttons that do the same as each other not very good

Followed the instructions, I had to re-programme the 'Guide' button to work with our TV, this was really simple to do and achieve.Everything else worked out of the box. We now have access to all TV functions. Just a few very slight differences in button positions when compared to LG original. But not a problem. Would recommend

My eye sight is not great and have a Guide Dog to help me get around. I thought that it was the Sky box so brought another. When at home my son said that it was the tv control. With this i went back to the Argos and the Staff where great as they then said what i needed and changed it for me. It now works great on the tv.

Bought this remote to replace my old one that had stopped working properly and I have to say it is an excellent replacement, works really well, I didn't have to do anything to set it up except insert batteries, the buttons were more or less the same as my old one so I didn't have to get used to a new set up.
