This product genuinely surpassed all of my expectations. That's not to say that I expected it to be inferior - the seller made it very clear that it was a quality item, but when paying considerably less than the usual price, it's easy to assume that you aren't going to get the quality you would get by paying top price. Not so - the handset is new condition. All buttons are very responsive - the slightest touch and they are active. The range is excellent (I've bought other handsets where I quite literally have to stand next to the Sky box or TV to get them to work.) and it was supplied with batteries. Comprehensive information and instructions were included. Would I buy this item again? ..

My wife thought it was time to replace the old Sky remote supplied with the Sky box.Buttons were becoming harder to use.She saw this replacement remote for sale on Amazon for around £15.I then had a look around and found this exact item for sale at £5.09 freepost.It arrived unfortunately broken.I phoned the supplier and immediately sent a replacement.It wasn't long before the wife had tuned it in and now we can use it for the TV and Sky box.It is so very useful and we only need one remote to do the lot.I feel sure that if this company can supply it, send it, and still make a profit then it just goes to show how greedy Amazon are who want treble this amount plus postage!!!

I have connections to one sky box from two rooms so getting two units was essential for ease of use without hunting for the control. They work fine in both rooms and especially over the RF/infra-red repeater link. Panicked recently when one unit wouldn't work - turned out that the batteries had gone flat far quicker than expected - suspect my wife of sitting on the control or it having fallen down the side of the sofa and it had buttons pressed continually by the pressure. The other unit 's batteries were old when inserted and are still going great.

Bought this to replace worn out handset. Works fine with Sky box but impossible to connect to TV, which the old handset did with no problem. I've had to revert to using two handsets again - one for Sky box and one for TV, which is inconvenient. None of the codes in the handset instructions work for my TV, in fact LG isn't even listed as a compatible make! Looked online and found other codes but these don't work either. So beware and check this handset is compatible with your TV before buying.

There are a few different Sky remotes, so you need to make sure you have the right one for your Sky box, but I was able to pick out the one I needed easily from the Argos in store checking system.I bought a Sky HD remote to replace our existing remote because its buttons were worn out with use.It came with batteries and instructions.It was very easy to set up to use with my TV - it took just a few minutes and the remote worked everything including the volume.Very happy with it.

Have had my old SKY Box many years and recently have had to keep pressing the buttons to get any response from the SKY box , so decided to order a new remote control. I was very surprised that you could buy one for only £4 : 99 but the reviews were excellent , so I bought one and it is fantastic. Suddenly , I can chose whatever programme or setting I need by just the slightest touch on the required button. Brilliant value and 100% satisfied with purchase and would highly recommend.

This was a replacement for my original Sky remote. The Argos product seemed exactly the same as my original but worked much better - instant response, always correct function. Argos got my item from stock very quickly and the item was as described in their order catalogue. The price was very acceptable, the remote well packaged and boxed with adequate instructions attached. The purchase was done in only a few minutes and there is a guarantee attached. Excellent all-round service.

I was very worried when I lost the use of my sky controller on a Friday night. I knew it was too late to receive one from Sky I thought I would not be able to watch any TV. I looked on line but was very confused which controller I needed. I looked on the Argos site and was extremely pleased to see photos of all tv controllers. I chose the one I needed ordered it went to Rayleigh store within 30 minutes I was back home able to watch all the tv I wanted. Thank you Argos.

I think I should have replaced the old Sky remote a couple of years ago because it was hard work getting it to function properly .When it finally gave up, I thought I would have to get a replacement from Sky but a friend told me that Argos sold them so I ordered one in the morning and collected it later that day, som wry little disruption. So far it is working well and looks exactly like the old one, so is easy to operate. . Hopefully it will last a long time.

Needing a replacement sky handset for our tatty old one, I looked on eBay. Many sellers had similar handsets, but non at such a keen price combined with absolute quality.Handset arrived within 2 days and worked (with the included batteries) straightaway,Simple instructions included.Why buy from Tesco etc at inflated prices when you can buy the same here for much less.I thoroughly recommend this seller and would not hesitate to use them again.Thank you!

As you would expect, this remote works well with the Sky box. It's worth checking the 'Rev' (model) number in the old remote, as later remotes sometimes don't work with older boxes.Getting the remote to work with the TV is almost impossible: the codes given for the TV manufacturer don't work. The alternative is pressing a series of buttons for half an hour in the hope you'll chance on the right code. However, other remotes are as bad or worse.

I purchased this product to replace the one I had which stopped working.I am extremely pleased with this product as my old one gave me many years of good service.It has all the main features such as rewind, pause, the' I' button for program information and all the other main features applicable to enjoying and viewing all sky programs.It is simple and easy to operate, light weight and I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

The Sky HD remote is well thought out and therefore when I needed a replacement I chose this one as it is compatible with my setup. The ergonomic design is well balanced and fits both my quite large hands and the slender hands of my wife. A very clever design in shape and weight to accomplish this properly.All aspects considered, I can't fault this remote. Every button and control is well positioned and easy to operate single handed.

Bought this remote as a replacement for broken one.After reading other reviews I expected to be able to just take it out of the box and use it. You need to programme it in to your tv and after following all the various instructions it still didn't work the volume on the tv. My tv is only 4 years old but it does not appear on the list in the instructions. I had to call Sky to get help with it in the end. But it now works perfectly.

I thank Argos for replying to my question as to wether this was a Series 9 remote.The problem was with the instructions printed with in the box.Please go to your sky interactive help for how to programme your remote and follow the instructions from there.Otherwise it is fantastic to have a remote that does what you ask of it. Our old one (18months) was so sluggish.A fantastic product - just do not follow the instructions
