The Sky remote was just about giving up? Thank goodness Argos had the very one I needed? Worked as soon as batteries put in. No Complications, everything amazing. It was so easy to use, good directions, in box but not really needed, by me. The lady in the Argos Store in Falmouth, took the trouble to explain everything to me. So Helpful, just what you need when you a Techno Fob. Would recommend to anyone who needs replacement..

Got this as the one I got with the original digibox had developed problems - I couldn't use the '1' button at all, and had to approach channels that had it in the combination from the 999s or 200s! Then the '5' button looked like giving up the ghost so time for a new one. Marginally cheaper than getting it from Sky - and much quicker. Simply put in the batteries (supplied) and it was ready to go.

I bought this remote so i could control sky box and the volume of the tv. With a universal remote i had to keep switching between sky and TV depending on which one i wanted to control but the sky remote let you control both only think i would say is if your trying to setup a Bush TV us the Goodmans code and if you are trying to setup a Goodmans TV use the Bush codes.

got this remote control because my old one had died first i thought it was my sky not working properly as the red light was shining on the remote control when i press the buttons i called sky and they were no help so when i read someone else's review i thought that could be the same problem i'm having so I went to argos for a new remote control and presto it worked

We needed a replacement sky remote control and are very pleased with this one. It was very easy to set up to the tv & sky box. The step by step instructions were very clear but it did take about 3 attempts to get it right - just persevere.Now its great to be able to use one remote to control the volume and change channels on the sky or freeview.

I purchased this item, because my old one was not working properly. Some of the buttons got stiffed I replaced it 5 years when the other remote broke.I hope this remote gives me the same amount of time if possible few more years would be great.The price is just ok and not to expensive like how it was during the past years.

Mostly easy to use, tuned into Sky box but slight problem when attempting to tune into TV (Sony).After much swearing and seating, success!On screen Sky remote HELP section gives more codes but remember to follow the instructions EXACTLY eg count the flashing lights and press the right buttons......bit like life really!!!!!!

Very happy with this Sky remote, it's 100℅ genuine and works fine. It "synced" with TV quickly & easily and worked with my older Thompson Sky digibox instantly without any messing about.The remote feels of good build quality and came with 2 Duracell batteries in the sealed packaging.I would gladly recommend this product.

I bought the wrong remote as this does not work with sky plus boxes, needed my clever brother to input some sort of code. Real bug bear is the instructions which all about how to make the thing operate the TV which it doesn't. What I wanted to know was how to operate the sky box, which it now does, except for recording.

bought to replace my old remote control as the buttons had worn out with use! First replacement was fine - except the sound control didn't work. Took it back to Argos and had it replaced with mimum fuss and quick service. Second control works fine. So full marks to sky and argos for good service.

All i can say is this item does what i want as my other one wore out.As a SKY TV remote controls its super.It comes with full instructions on how to setup for use on different TVs.Great price i always check with Argos first as they have fantastic deals and customer service is excellent.

Only very slight criticism is that it didn't have a code for use with my make of TV (Accoustic Solutions) which is also sold by Argos. However, trial and error with the codes listed for other makes got the right one and I am able to manage TV functions with it, as well as my Sky box.

Having had issues with non-generic replacement remotes, when my old sky box remote gave up the ghost I opted to replace it with another Sky product.Quality was as good as expected, it was incredibly easy to set up and is the perfect replacement. Price was very reasonable as well.

Was a bit dubious about buying this unit as have seen bad reports re replacement remote controls.However I must say this was a dream.No problems with it had it fully operational within 5 mins of opening pack .... and this from a guy who has great difficulty setting DVD recorder!

This was a replacement for a broken remote control that my aunt needed. It's the latest firmware revision and as with all Sky's products it works out of the box. All it needed was programming to control the television, which took less than 5 minutes. Excellent product.
