Bought this laser crimping tool specifically to crimp 3 non-insulated female spade connectors for an iron flex.Bought 10 connectors expecting to waste a few while getting used to the technique.Surprised myself by managing 3 out of 3 though i did spend a fair bit of time searching and looking at videos of non-insulated crimping beforehand. They made a very secure crimp and the only issue was that i managed to twist the actual female connector about 5 degrees in relation to the rest of the crimp connector on 2 of the crimps but i think this was likely due to me and not the tool. For a 4.8mm spade connector i used the middle "tooth" of the tool for the wire crimp and the largest of the three teethfor the crimping of the cable.

Excellent tool. I suppose it does depend on your specific needs but for me this did the job perfectly. I needed to crimp a non insulated female connector to a wire to replace a broken connection in a washing machine. I bought a pack of 10 connectors from Maplins and expected to ruin most of them. I ruined the first one but because I used the wrong part of the jaw. I made two more attempts on an old bit of wire using the correct part of the jaw and both worked perfectly first time with no problems giving the perfect desired loops on crimping. I then had a go at the washing machine and it worked perfectly bringing it back to life. For me definitely worth the investment.

First off this is cheap, really cheap. I bought it to use on VH style electronic connectors, which are small and very fiddly. These are spring loaded, no ratchet, which makes life a lot easier. Contrary to youtube, crimping tiny connectors is hard and takes practice and patience and you do need the correct tools. The crimping tool shown on youtube is upwards of £35 which is too dear for my project. These fufill the role adequately, far better than needle nose pliers...Overall:CheapEasy to use (ha-ha)..Spring loadedConsCrimping small connectors is hard, but don't blame the tool!

Great communications and excellent service. The cheapest 'Barrel crimp tool' on the internet for UK supply. This tool gives a quality finish to the terminals intended for their use as long as you don't try to rush. It is a two part action to complete a fully crimped terminal like most tools of this type. Well made robust crimping pliers that have earned their price and will give good service for years to come.My use was for 'Durite Econoseal' connectors, I'm very happy with this tool and the service received from the supplier

Bought this recently and left it packaged in my toolbox! Finally tried it out and it's quite good actually. After a practise on 2 empty crimps, I then did 3 non-insulated crimps on my cars lighting cluster.Done to perfection - it created the little grip loops properly and neatly. Will see how it stands the test of time. I am a light user anyway so its back in my toolbox for now.Won't give it 5 stars just yet - but so far a good tool at a good price.

Awesome crimp tool! One issue is that it can be a bit of a challenge to get the wire to stay in place in the terminal whilst trying to crimp it. After you've done a few it becomes easier though. The tool doesn't have any feedback so you won't know if you've crimped it enough unfortunately. I tend to rotate the terminal & crimp it a few times to make sure it's properly seated & crimped.Overall I think it's a good product & it gets the job done.

I wanted a crimping tool for occasional light use that could cope with both insulated and non insulated terminals and reviews of this product prompted my purchase. I am very happy with how it performs, it is of good solid construction and does the job effectively. Colour coding on the jaws for pre-insulated crimps would have been an improvement.

Excellent. This is a very good tool, producing crimps easily and every bit as good as tools that are four times the price. The solid wide jaws do not wobble apart and the lack of a ratchet is a bonus as you can control the crimp process better.

I use these for crimping terminal connections on wiring looms on scooters and they work a charm. The tool is well made, although the handle grips could be a bit better but the tool is able to crimp various sizes and is easy to use!

Straightforward and easy to use. I only needed to make 4 connections so at this price cannot complain. Misses out on 5 stars as in my view the jaw could have been slightly wider to form crimps in 1 go.

Unisulated forming crimpers are either difficult to find or very expensive. This was easy to find and very cheap. It's already had some use making up earth straps which it did perfectly.

...this is a great quality tool at an equally great price....it has performed flawlessly so far on both insulated and non-insulated crimps....I would thoroughly recommend it

reasonably good quality, though not the best.good value for money, great if you are on a tight budget like me.they do the job i got them for.

Not bad but I find I have to cut the rear flaps down a bit of they won't fit in the crimp but after that they look neat.

Used them to crimp some 28awg wire with no issues. Really useful tool that won't break any time soon
