I searched and searched for a pair of walking shoes for a trekking holiday in moderately rough terrain. Eventually I was introduced to these Salewa shoes by a trained (so rare) salesman at my local branch of Cotswolds. They came up small, I'm wearing an 8 when my normal shoe size is 7. However the fit is perfect for my feet. Plenty of toe room, no heel rubbing. They accommodate my mild supination without inserts. Best of all, I have absolute confidence in their grip. During the trip we often found ourselves climbing up and down narrow rocky paths to and from rivers, for example. I was able to stand firm and help others on the path. I love these shoes, well worth the extra cost.

Loved these trainers, very well made and great colour!Unfortunately, Salewa have changed the footbed from my previous trainers and these were too tight on my toes.
