The tag on the shoes says they are blister proof, we'll see. But so far that has been the case, although I have'nt had them through a creek or anything yet to get them wet while using.The stability is good and the mid and heel support are stellar. The forefoot cushioning is plush but you will feel rocks and such through it.The outer mesh on top is breathable and the surrounding tpu coating definitely resists feeling rocks and scrapes.Grip of the sole is good in dirt and mud, but isnt super on rocks.Biggest Con: These shoes will hold water like a fish bowl. Outside of evaporation through the top of the shoe, water moisture has no where to go.

I hike a lot, especially during the corona virus quarantine. These shoes are incredible! They are more low to the ground then I thought, which is great because it gives more of a natural feel of the terrain. Theses shoes are very light, supportive and comfortable. They have extremely good traction up and down hill.After hiking 18 miles my feet feel amazing and that was the first time that I used them. They ventilate well and I was hiking in 97 degree weather. The only issue I have is the toe box could be bigger. My pinky toe pinches a little, but I expect once I work them in more that won't be an issue moving forward.

Over only had the shoes for a couple of weeks, but so far, they’re working well. I bought them just before leaving for Spain and Italy on vacation. I averaged 5-8 miles a day walking in them on various terrain. My feet did not get hot or sore. The tread is good on pavement and gravel/rocks, and uneven terrain and felt stable underneath.I’m not a huge fan of the lacing system, but, so, far, they’re working. (As you can see in the pics, I tuck the tightened laces under once they’re pulled tight.)

Salewa makes the best speed hiking and regular hiking shoes I've ever owned. I've had these guys for about 7 months now and they have been amazing. In 7 months I've put around 300 miles on them and they've still got plenty of outsole left. I'm thinking of retiring them and using them as my regular gym shoes and picking up a second fresh pair. No doubt in my mind you could do multiday mountaineering trips in these. I've done 22 mile speed hikes and my feet have been great in these.

My favorite hiking shoe. These things are like magnets on granite, and the fit, for me anyway, is perfect. Only complaint is that the laces are kevlar, and on both of the pairs that I have the laces have cut through at least one or more of the lace guides, which are cloth, not metal eyes. They need to work on that for a $180 shoe.

Yeah these are sick, perfect functionality and perfect aesthetics. Salewa is a top company because they are intelligent, they know what they are doing. Not buying another brand. To note, I have a very athletic foot, I hate it when people with odd shaped feet give great products poor reviews, it just wasnt made for you bro!

Best walking shoe ever made especially for seniors not having to tie laces. I wear a 12 and ended up buying 3 pairs of 13’s that fit perfect. I bought and returned about 10 different brands returning them and thankful I did not give up. The discounts were amazing have a blessed day... Tommy Thomas

There’s nothing I dislike about that shoe. I hike about 10 miles everyday and these shoes are the only ones that leave my feet blister FREE! They don’t need a break in time. Naturally with that kind of daily mileage they last only about 3 month. I highly recommend them.

Everything from Salewa is good to go?I have used their running, trail/ hiking shoes for nearly a decade and they hold up to hot desert climates when the temps can reach up to 120 degrees, and down to hill mountain terrain in a woodland environment.These hold up well.

Only had these for a few days. I usually wear a size 10,so I bought a size 11 and they fit perfect. I also own a pair of Solamon Super Cross and so far the fit and feel is almost the same. I use one pair for wet conditions and the other for dry. It works for me.

Comfortable, light, breathable, perfect for trials or for mountain excursions. The sole has excellent grip on rock, scree and mud, obviously with the limits of a light shoe. Convenient closing, I recommend half a measure more

I have worn the shoes once on my regular 5 mile hike. They fit perfectly. Felt very light. Provided a nice structure and comfort level. And the tread it probably the best anywhere. They are just quality through and through.

Love these shoes. I am very impressed with the fit and finish. Very high build quality and nice detail finishing touches. You can tell that this company has great esthetic and function priorities.

Excellent arch support, well padded, true to size and fits like a glove. I am buying another pair so that if/when they "update" the design of this shoe, I will still have a backup original.

These are really great shoes! They breathe incredibly well and fir perfectly. My North Face shoes make me feel like an SUV, these make me feel like a Lamborghini - I prefer the Lambo!
