There are only a few diets specifically for diabetic dogs, as they need to be low carb and high protein, not merely low calorie; some foods are labelled as being 'suitable' for diabetic dogs, but my vet recommends them for use only as a mixer to add a little variety. I found that a mixer is necessary, as although my dog ate complete meals of this food for the first few days - and he does seem to like the taste - he then went off it somewhat, and a mixer became necessary. No doubt there are reasons why just one flavour is manufactured (quantities sold too small, perhaps), but it does make it harder to keep my dog satisfied. It's available in more economical larger sizes - but more reasonably priced from other sites,

I just started using these diabetic biscuits for my husky dog he is 10 years old started drinking lots of water got him checked out down the vets blood everything so now he is on insulin injection twice a day he seems to like the biscuits so far he needs to loose weight but with the diabetic problems he is always Hungry

My 9 year old Cockerpoo has developed Diabetes and so now has to have a special diet. I was dreading changing his diet but all i can say is he loves them ! and also loves the wet food to.My other dog loves it to although not Diabetic but my vet said no problem with her eating it.on my second order now !

I have 2 diabetic dogs and food helps me keep both animals stable and fit. Definitely feel that the balanced food is assisting me in largely eliminating large changes in their medication. On regular dog food albeit it high end food one dog in particular was needing continual changes to her insulin levels

Two months ago my dog was diagnosed with diabetes. Not having any recommendations, I bought a small bag of this to try. It was a raging success, my dog loves it (having always been picky when it comes to dry dog food) Five stars from the dog!

I have a border terrier,who often shook,I felt sugar levels became low,even though not diabetic,diagnosed not having diabetes by blood tests,but,this product has stopped all his shakes

Pleased with delivery and my dog loves royal canin I mix it with some cooked chicken and he loves it he is doing so well with his diabetes a few ups and downs 5 star plus

It suits my dog her blood sugar has come down to normal in a couple of weeks after trying with regular expensive brand name for weeks .Great Good Stuff thank you.

This dry food along with the wet tinned version was recommended by my vet and along with the insulin helps keep my dogs blood sugar at the right level

The food itself is good it's stabilised my dogs diabetes, however I've found it cheaper to buy on other sites and delivery took way to long

My Westie loves this kibble and her sugar levels have stabilised more since using this product. Would recommend this product 100%!!

My dog is diabetic. It's the only food after trying prescription food that agrees with her. Her diabetes has stablelised as well

My diabetic sheepdog is doing very well with this product . Combined with insulin twice daily her diabetes is well controlled

My cairn terrier bitch is very particular about her food but she likes these biscuits. So does the cat unfortunately.
