We needed Bella to lose weight when she had a knee replacement, and moved to this from the regular Royal Canin Sensitivity Control SC21. Bella has not noticed the difference, and is quite happy that her rations have not dropped, but her weight has - from 24kg to 20.5kg in six months, with almost no effort. (The other thing that made the difference was a lot of tricks to slow down her eating, so she has a chance to get to a point of feeling full before she's finished her food). We mixed it through with the SC21 for about a month, and then swapped over fully, and haven't looked back. All other benefits of Royal Canin Sensitivity are still here - great nutrition, attractiveness, lack of stomach irritation and the all-important fit for the Kong weeble toy - but less weight on the dog. Altogether, very happy.

We tried our beloved three-legged Wilfie (a cat-human) on several (expensive) brands of dry cat food to tackle his clearly very sensitive bowels without success. We also tried pro-biotics, which offered some temporary relief. Finally, I took the plunge on Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Hypoallergenic. Within days and without exaggeration, Wilfie's life was transformed. He now has more energy to move from one sleeping position to another and his litter tray visits are far more pleasant for everyone concerned. And his occasionally irritated skin is a thing of the past. Such was the dramatic change in his health, it has seriously made me think more about my own diet...

So far has helped a lot with my cats. One has symptoms of urticaria and the other 'over-pruned' his tummy fur because of a suspected urinary tract issue. The first cats skin is clear so I'm really happy; no steroid injection for her and the second has stopped chewing his fur off and it's grown back nicely. My other four cats love the biscuits so I've switched from another Royal Canin dry food to this because they all love it. I was concerned that they would turn their noses up at but success, it's obviously very tasty! The price does not bother me, only the best for my little fur babies. Very fast delivery and will order again.

Well, in all honesty i've not eaten it but the cats seem to enjoy it. With 2 fussy-stomached felines both with different tummy problems and both with urticaria (how did i manage 2 cats with the same skin condition as me?), they've improved greatly with this food compared to other low-junk foods. One has even mellowed and had less tummy problems and dare I say it: pleasant! While relatively expensive to other brands hypo-allergy version they don't seem to gobble it as much the others we've tried and the benefits definitely outweigh the extra cost.

This product was recommended for our Cat by our Vet after she had some digestion problems. The cat was having issues where she would poo without noticing, and generally unhappy with her digestion. It was suggested that she may have some sort of foot allergy. The choice was expensive tests, or test out hypoallergenic food. Its pretty standard dry food cat seems to eat it up without any issue, just this and water. Since then she's not had any digestion issues and am really happy with the results.

Bought for my cats allergies. Vets charge 35 quid so this was a life saver! She will be on it for pretty much life with wet food so any savings are welcome. Some days shes fussy and will only eat them late at night after leaving them all day and other days she will wolf them down, they smell ok and so far after about 6 months on them no horrid fur balls coughed up and her toilet habits are normal etc.Would deffo reccomend

I’ve given overall 5 stars as it’s helping my cat who was experiencing constant diarrhoea. Since moving to this hypoallergenic food from wet food, it seems to have helped for sure. I’m not sure about taste as i’m not a cat but assume it’s all good as he clears the bowl every time. I’ve given 4 stars as I think it could be cheaper but as it’s a specific food helping a specific issue, I guess there is no wiggle room on price.

I got my cat as a rescue and she had lots of tummy problems on normal cat food as well as itching. Vet recommended this and we did a food trial and her skin and tummy problems have disappeared and she is so much healthier and quite enjoys the food as well. The dog also has his fill and finds any excuse he possibly can to eat her food!!!

One of my cats had a bad stomach bug and was put on this food and cooked chicken/turkey meat for a time while recovering. This food turned out to be a big favourite, and we now always have it in a bowl. I like to think that this is a healthy staple food for the cats, supplemented by varying types of meat or fish and wet cat food.

Tried our cat with lots of quality foods (James Wellbeloved, Orijin etc ) and thought I'd try this, as she suffers with food allergies and is sick quite often. She has been so much better since she started eating this food (which she loves) and now very rarely vomits.Expensive but she loves it - empty bowl every day :-)

This arrived very early and is what my vet has recommended, and so far seems to be doing the trick. He also refused to eat biscuits at all so i was a bit worried that he would refuse to eat these, but he conceded and now seems quite happy on them! Very pleased thank you!

My cat has a really sensitive stomach and she vomits quite often. I read that this food might help and It's helping so far. I can already see the difference. It's way more expensive than average food but it's definitely worth it. I'll buy again!

We have a Ragdoll who can’t seem to keep food down and would be sick every few days or so on the usual good quality wet food and dry food. After getting this he has stopped being sick, other than the odd fur ball. Can be bought cheaper though.

My cat has always had either soft or liquid stools since we got her, this is the only food that seemed to do the trick and now she has solid poops! I guess this means she’s allergic to something in normal cat food.

This food helped my Persian mix cat with lifelong sensitive stomach issues. It's not perfect, but he has gained weight after having lost a lot on another high quality food. Just wish it was more affordable!
