My German shepherd had this when he was a puppy up to about 12 months when i switched him to 'Applaws' as the 'Arden Grange adult' seemed to lack somewhat in nutrition (for any unsure if they're looking or thinking about weaning to adult food!).When i first brought him home, I was probably like most newbie owners, I wanted a food that was good for my dog (not packed with rubbish/fillers) but at the same time didn't cost me an arm and a leg, after a few trials and errors of other foods, he seemed to settle on this well and the nutritional value is quite good (for a 12kg bag i think i paid approx £40ish and would last me just over a month. This food may not be to the high standards as some other foods available but this suited my pup perfectly, his tummy seemed a little tender to other foods, this firmed up his stool, he always ate it, reasonably priced and he looked well on it, he went (and still does now) to the vets on a monthly basis for a general check up and flea protection and they always complimented how good he looked (he has good genes too though!).If you're new to this food start on a small bag and slowly wean across, if he doesn't agree with it try another food, what works for one dog won't necessarily work for another and i think people forget that sometimes.

Our current pet dog is the 2nd dog only that we`ve owned,we try & give our pet/sas closed to a natural diet as possible. With our 1st dog we had all sorts of foodrelated problems that only became clear upon research from books & the net.We eventually moved to a BARF diet which we found easy with a adult dog but,we were a bit apprehensive when we got our 2nd puppy. So we went from "a good" dry kibble(with the 1st puppy)to a complete, superpremium pet food for large breed dogs that is naturally hypoallergenic, for the 2nd.After some review reading we opted for Arden Grange,he has been on this from 9weeks of age & the results are excellent he`s;healthy, strong, fully covered with fur,has a very shinycoat, full of energy, etc. The size of the kibble is also quite large which means, the animal does not sucktheir food down when eating it so it gets chewed, which is also good.Price wise, you`ll be hard pushed to find a complete dry dog food this good for less, just take a look here(amazon)1st if you think you can.Recommended,if you want a all in 1 solution to feeding a excellent complete kibble, you`ve found it,highly recommended 5 stars thank you for reading.

This is a bag of miracles. I brought Zeus, my Siberian Husky home at 8 weeks. At first he was on a different brand, I switched the brand again as I wanted the best of the best for my pup. Before Arden Grande, Zeus was having horrible loose stools from Christmas until March, I started weaning him on Arden Grange puppy/junior and his stools started to firm up nicely. Zeus has been growing fantastically at the speed of light on this food. His coat is thick and shiny we always get complimented at the dog park for it. The only problem I have now is tha typical of his breed, he is starting to get picky and sometimes refuses to eat his meals unless I pour some salmon oil or yoghurt over his kibble.Otherwise he gives me attitude. Naturally every dog takes differently to different brands of food, however my boy flourished on this stuff. Steady growth, great coat, sturdy bones, great energy levels, solid poop, and a happy puppy. Highly recommended

Regarding this product I cannot praise it enough, our now12 months old Spanish Mastin is developing really well. We started him on Orijen for large breed puppies, an excellent food but caused very loose stool. We were extremely worried about changing his food to Arden Grange but need not have been as his bowel settled and he now has stool which can be picked up with the poo bag, which before was impossible. Sorry for the details but as responsible dog owners you will understand. My only complaint is the final cost as had to pay post and packing which made a good price not so good so will go back to my usual on-line supplier who send without cost.Arden Grange Puppy/Junior Large Breed Dog Food 12 KgSold by Amazon EU S.a.r.L.£29.99Item Subtotal: £24.99Postage & Packing: £2.75Total before VAT: £27.74VAT: £5.55Total: £33.29So 5 stars for the product but not the final cost.

I have been using this for my Newfie pup since he was 9 weeks. He's now turning 9 months old and he is in great health. His coat is show quality condition and has a beautiful sheen. His weight is progressing well and going by the recommended feeding allowance, he's very lean. I find this a good 'middle of the road' food. It's not the cheap supermarket food and it's not exactly Orijen but it's definitely a premium food.I've seen other brands like wainwrights do Large/giant breed puppy food and the kibble size was comparable to cat biscuits. AG kibble size is more suited for the large breed as it is approx 1.5cm round with a hole in the middle. Our Newfoundland has a very sensitive stomach but I have had no problems on this food. Can't recommend this highly enough.

He recently got a brown Doberman and were feeding him on Purina Butchers Puppy Food, which he ate happily. The thing was his stools were loose and he developed dandruff. Talking with friends and family we looked more closely at the ingredient list and realised it was mostly filler. The same friends suggested we try a few new foods including Arden Grange. This 2kg bad was bought more as a tester to see how he would do on it.Well he chomps through his meals with great relish, his dandruff and the associated scratching has gone and his coat has improved and is now extremely glossy. He is putting on healthy weight and is full of energy, as he should be.If only there was a way the food could help teach him my boot is not a toy it would be beyond perfect!:)

My cross breed (Lab, Collie, setter) has been trialled on a number of vet recommended foods and had loose stools with all of them. Eventually, I bought some vet recommended digestion paste which appeared to help a little but was somewhat costly and not amazingly effective. I tried Arden Grange after reading some positive comments, and to be honest, the price. After a week his stools had firmed and now they are normal.Arden Grange appears to suit my dog and is keenly priced. I ordered with Amazon prime and received the bag the next day. I would recommend this food and encourage you to trial your dog on it. I did the job for us and it is slightly more bearable to pick up the dog's firm stools than a sloppy foul turd.Hurrah !

Fabulous food for my 3 month old Golden Labrador pup. Kylo was originally on Royal Canin Mother and Baby which was far too rich and was upsetting her tummy something awful! I always told myself I would never feed any animal something that wasn't nutritionally sound. I had an issue in that I couldn't find Kylo's original food to transfer her over slowly, I contacted Arden Grange themselves and they couldn't be more helpful! They sent me information booklets, 4 free sample bags and gave me brilliant advise. It is somewhat pricey but I know Kylo is being fed good quality food from a lovely family run company.

Penny (7month Lab) has always struggled with her tummy I have searched and reseached so many different brands and after reading reviews of how this has helped so many others in the same position we swapped from Lilys kitchen to Arden Grange.Usually when changing food we have had to do it very gradually but in the matter of a week she is completely changed over and I cant belive the difference it has made to her poo. Sorry for tmi but they are smaller and firmer. She also seems to be alot calmer when out walking which is just another bonus. Very very happy customer :) I couldn't recommend this food more!

I have two Labrador Retrievers and fed them both on Arden Grange Junior as it was a product that was Vet recommended and more importantly it was recommended by our friend who has a Kennel. We also added a small amount of raw meat to their feeds and they have turned out to be very energetic and athletic with fantastic health and glossy coats.I cant say that my dogs have flourished because of the good food alone but it has certainly helped.Yes this food is a little expensive but if you divide it on a daily basis, (cost wise) and keep mindful of the quality it is definitely worth it.5 Stars.

Being first-time dog owners, and having a breed that can suffer with digestive issues, we researched thoroughly all the food options available for our doggo. This product has a good meat content, and does not contain pea, potato or legume protein to bulk it out. There is ongoing research to suggest high ammounts of these proteins in food can be harmful to dogs, and yet the UK market practically all the foods we found included at least one of these as a main ingredient. Until our pup is old enough to have adult food, we would struggle to find a suitable alternative for him.

My large breed puppy has been on Arden Grange puppy / junior kibble since he was 8 weeks old, he is now 8 months and is thriving.I mix the kibble with a small amount of nature diet puppy / junior and warm water as my pup prefers it this way. He's a very healthy boy with lots of energy and always gets complemented on how shiny his fur is! It's a plus that his stools are firm and don't smell too bad also :PWe will be staying with this food untill he is 18 months and then move on to Arden Grange adult. We're very happy with the quality of this food! :)

Arrived promptly with good date ahead and is getting munched through at a good rate. Very keen price indeed! We like Arden Grange products as our older labradoodle cannot tolerate cereal etc. and is fine on the fish and potato. The puppy is fine on the puppy food, but if she gets hold of the fish and potato too, as then I have no worries about tummy upsets. (In fact, she likes both very much though it sounds as if she is chomping through gravel! No upsets with it either. We were lucky that our breeder had used this brand. Great prices on both varieties!

Great stuff. My dog trainer recommended this and I've been very happy. My Labrador puppies have thrived on it. I don't feed them anything else (except some leftover veg, rice, chicken etc. occasionally). Their coats are glossy, eyes are bright and I get comments all the time about how healthy they look. They do poo a lot, though, and I wonder if its because there is lots of roughage in the food. I mix with a bit of hot water just to bring out a bit of 'gravy' (then add some cold water to cool it down) to make it more palatable.

Our irish wolfhound pup had a lot of runny poo the past few days, we gradually switched to Arden and the results were visible on day 1, by the time we faded out the other puppy food the difference was night and day. The pup is also very excited to eat Arden which is a good sign. We had been given some puppy food by our breeder but I thought a change in diet would help settle his stomach with the new home etc. Don't look any further, seriously!
