I have a lot of pets in my house, the numbers go up and down as I foster, but I also I have 6 permanent residents. None of them are fussy eaters as rescue don't tend to be, but lots of them have belly issues from scavenging , out of which 3 have particularly sensitive bellies now. Over the years I went through quite a few brands in search for a perfect balance between quality and price as having so many makes it tough on wallet, but also didn't want to feed them anything poor quality. I found this brand perfect for my needs and all the animals seems to really like it.Fish flavor seems to be particularly strong hit with them, for both cats and dogs, but bear in mind it is quite stinky,which is to be expected really and probably a part of the reason why they like it so much.Buying in bulk is always wallet-friendly. I buy 10-15kg bags and keep them in cold and dry storage. The bags doesn't really closes as that mechanism is quite poorly made, although not a massive bother, I just roll it up and put something heavy on top so it doesn't unroll. Never had any issues with the food loosing flavor or bugs, but it also doesn't really have time to happen as I usually go through 2 bags a month. I have recommended this brand to multiple people who ask me for advise as their pets don't eat well/ have belly troubles. They all went for it and been very pleased with the change, so I feel comfortable recommending it.There is so many options and diets for pets out there, some people go raw, some go particular food. There's no one size fits all, so please bear that in mind and if you change your animal food to any brand/style then please make sure you do it gradually. Over a course of minimum a week mix increasing ratio of new food to old food starting with no more than 1/4 new to 3/4 old. No matter if you go raw/kibble, it 's always good to mix vegetables into your dog food to keep them healthy (if they are not fans of veggies just cut them in small bits).

It's always nice to try something different to eat so we let the dogs have that option too!They've always hoovered up their bowls when we fed them the lamb James Wellbeloved, so i thought they might like a different flavour.We have one extremely fussy eater (unless its the delicacy's from the kitchen bin, which she could rival Houdini for the time she can get in and out with goodies from there!). Although in all fairness to her, we've never really had a problem with her not eating at all with James Wellbeloved which is a welcome addition considering the trouble we had getting her to eat anything that wasn't from the bin or our food!Our other dog will eat ANYTHING!So perhaps he's not the best dog to judge on what the food is like. Anything that is put in front of him he eats like he's never eaten before!They are both big dogs, who have lovely soft coats with heaps of energy (perhaps too much when they're using the house as a racecourse!)So the food seems to give them all the nutrients they need (with the kitchen bin as an afterthought now!)Can't recommend this enough!

I have tried lots of different dog food over the years and this is by far the best quality.Our dogs big and small enjoy this food and never have any problem emptying their food bowls. The little dogs are quite fussy eaters, but they enjoy all the James Wellbeloved kibble flavours, turkey and rice is the one I usually buy, but they also like the lamb, and the duck. The bigger dogs eat the same food, same size kibble as the smaller dogs and I would say the kibble is a good size for either.The dogs are fed twice a day, I measure and weigh the food to ensure they are not over, or under fed. A 15kg bag lasts about three weeks for two big dogs and two small dogs.The output (dog faeces) is always normal,not over soft or over hard and not runny, easy to clean up and the smell is not too offensive. I always say you can tell how healthy a dog is by their poop and they are all really healthy on this diet.It's good food, and the dogs are happy and healthy; if they are happy, I'm happy.

We've been feeding our husky James Wellbeloved for over a year now. He is normally the fussiest of eaters where he will eat one type of food for a month or so and then just flatly refuse to eat it anymore. We found a brand called Hi-life in our local supermarket that he kept eating - then we realised that it was only because of the high sugar content, so we needed a healthy alternative quickly, several people recommended James Wellbeloved, we could see that their dogs coats looked good on it so we started him off on the small bags just to make sure we wouldn't be lumbered with a big sack of food that he wouldn't eat. Now we can safely buy the more cost effective 15kg sacks and his coat has returned to its old shiny condition.It is well worth buying online as the same sack can cost around £48 in local shops.

I buy 15kg every month, both of my dogs one very big the other very small, love this food. I have no issues with upset stomachs or skin problems. Both were a problem in the past. My huge white German Shepard was a rescue dog that came with a digestion problem. He was terribly under weight and didn't appear to be able to gain any weight until I put him on James Wellbeloved. He's fine now, and 12 month later looks absolutely fantastic. Our little five year old Westie always suffered with skin problems. I just fed he with the same food and within three month the skin problems just got better. Its not a cheap food, but it is good and I don't have the vets bills, (touch wood) that I had in the past.Try it for a month and see how you get on.

My dogs love this food. They maul it every time it's served and it's good quality and overall provides for them very well. Their coats look beautiful and shiny.The only reason I can't give this five stars is because it smells like mackerel that has been left to sour on the bench overnight and every time I feed the dogs I have to hold my nose. Tried to talk to someone while the dogs were eating and physically gagged.I have a sensitive sense of smell but no one else can stand it either. The dogs don't smell though which is good but the bowls go straight in the dishwasher.

Both my dogs (and the ones that have passed away from old age) have had problems with tummie troubles, dandruff, itching, weight problems etc... But with JAMES WELLBELOVED i have had none of these problems at all. My dogs are now fit and healthy and they just love the taste. I even use it as treats for when they have been extra good. Also, the fact i can subscribe and get discount is even better (Good stuff Amazon). If you haven't tried this dog food yet i stongly suggest you do as you won't regret it. I changed my dogs food from a bag a generic brand to this after I noticed he'd stopped growing, he was just a pup at the time, 6 months. I did some research and decided that this would be a good food for him. He is now a strong, healthy almost fully grown dog with a beautiful coat and oceans of energy, well he is a boxer so I suppose that's fairly normal. The only issue I have with the food is the putrid farts, If it wasn't for those I would happily give it five stars. Also great price and service from amazon as always.

Purchase this product on a regular basis as our dog (Shetland Sheepdog) appears to enjoy this flavour rather than some of the other flavours such as duck or lamb. He has been eating the James Wellbeloved for over two years now starting with the puppy stage, then Junior and now Adult, without any problems - this product appears just right for his digestive system as this breed can have a delicate stomach. Have tried other brands of dry dog food but for our pooch this appears to suit him best! Would definitely recommend.

Have changed my one year old bulldog from Royal Canin Maxi Junior over to the Royal Canin Bulldog Specific, and had horrible consequences, his tear stains went red raw and his folds and skin went into terrible condition, after only being on the food for one week.Since swapping over to James Wellbeloved, his skin has improved and he is a much happier dog. We will stick to this food and though it is a little more expensive than other brands, I wouldn't deviate from it in order to keep my dog healthy and happy.

This is an excellent system, when you subscribe and save, the work and worry is all taken care of. You never run out and it always arrives when it says it will! You can change the dates forward or delay them. It always arrives in a waterproof sack, so if you're out and it's left in a safe place it doesn't get wet if its raining, which is often! Oh and the dogs LOVE it! My two have very sensitive tummies and this brand is excellent for their digestion they haven't had any problems since I switched to JW.

This has come from China and was delayed.The shelf life is not as good as UK bought retailers.I was desperate for dog food and this one as my dog is under weight, his ribs sticking out he’s been looked after by someone while I was ill in hospital.This is the best food you can give your dog.Hoping he will pick up and his coat will shine and make him feel brand new again.I have a White Westie and he’s been living in Turkey and rice for a week and his ribs still sticking out

Good quality ingredients and our dog loves it, however I would never pay the full RRP for this as there are other brands with as good or similar quality ingredients for less, we usually get Arden Grange which is also very good and obtainable at bargain prices in many places but since this has been at a good price for a few months now we thought we’d give it a go.As long as Amazon keep selling it For around their current price I will definitely continue to buy it from them.

This is the first time that I've ordered my dogs food online. We spent a while trying diferent wet and dry foods to see which was was best for max's delicate stomach and we found that James Wellbeloved is the only one that doesnt cause him to have an upset stomach. This supplier has provided excellent service. Delivery was within the time span given, it was well wrapped and at a lower price than I usually pay from my pet store. Will definetly be ordering again.

Our Westie has been using this for about 5 months ever since a fellow Westie owner recommended this product upon observing that his skin colour (as evidenced by the colour of his ears)was dark brown rather that the normal pink. Best decision I have made for my dog - his complexion gradually changed colour and most of his body is now glowing pink - clearly evidence that high quality ingredients are used. Enough said - every dog deserves quality food!
