I previously had a pair of OR running gaiters. These gaiters have better materials, more robust construction. Better fit around the shoe and ankle (and less susceptible to stretching over time). Also, unlike the new model OR gaiter.. these use a "Velcro" tab to hold the gaiter down at eh heel (and provides plenty of spare Velcro strips for people wearing shoes that don't come with the Velcro built in. I've only been wearing them for three days of running in a local coastal forest park (plenty of dry deep sand), but they are keeping sand out of my shoes, and I don't know that I am wearign them when running.

Until now, I used another company's gate, but there was a belt at the bottom, I was scraped by rocks and stones, and I wasn't able to use it immediately. This raid light gator is the perfect gator for shoes with a gator trap. It is repeat confirmation!

Very practical and of good quality. They fit perfectly and the price is great
