I Ordered the 14W 31L which is the EXACT same as 14R. 31L doesn't stand for long but for length, and 31 inches is regular. Hope that helps anybody who is confused about size listing.I am 5ft 7 and length is perfect, even with trainers on. Usually I find long length is too long so opt for regular, then find regular is too short with trainers on. Not in this case, I would say regular is made this length as company has taken into account...yay!I am a 12 up top and 14-16 on bottom. I'm a big bottom woman! 14 fitted perfect around bottom and thighs. With my top being a 12 I've added a belt so trousers don't slide down, as waist looser. If you don't have much of a bottom or big thighs you will get away with going down a trouser size,if you prefer a snug waist. Otherwise get your usual size and insert a belt.I absolutely hate clothes shopping, especial for trousers. I can never feel good when they are off the hanger and on me. I live in leggings and hate my jeans! Well, was expecting these to arrive and feel the same. Hooray not this time! I can bend in all directions without my bum hanging out or the feeling of being restricted. Super comfy and they fit like a glove! Cannot comment on how they wear yet.The wow factor for me was putting my hand in my left pocket to find a glasses cloth. Wasn't expecting that! It's attached to a piece of elastic to enable you to clean your glasses comfortably. It can be removed to be washed. Genius idea as I wear specs!Highly recommend you buy a pair!

I am very pleased with the trousers purchased. They have such a great (and forgiving) fit which not only feels comfy but looks good too. The trousers at 33L were a little too long in the leg for me which was a first, but its better too have some which you can adjust than not enough!I found the to have plenty of pocket space with one back and two hip available. The hip pockets being slanted grant easy access and can accommodate a large smart phone /phablet or around 6 inches. The glasses cloth in the left side pocket was a great design idea as well. I wear spectacles and you often find that you need to give your lenses a wipe. I'd rather have a little cloth to hand like this than have to rummage through bags or compartments while on the go!As for the price,I thought they were very reasonable, given that a good fitting (and lasting) pair of denims can cost upwards of £40.I have been out on walks with these trousers and they didn't let me down. Even though they might not be the lined winter trousers, I didn't feel the cold! All in all, absolutely delighted and will most certainly be purchasing another pair!

I have about 4 of these from 2011 and the price has hardly changed in that time. Buying more to replace worn out pairs. They are a bargain! The fabric and cut is flattering being straight leg with stretch and I am very curvy and find travel gear a nightmare. They wash extremely well. Old pairs lasted 7 years!Like that these sit on the hips as I mainly wear them travelling (mainly city breaks) and to work with animals. So they are multipurpose and look good anywhere and everywhere. I dress them up and down with leather loafers and converse. The short length is perfect for me at 5”3 (won’t buy pants I need to alter)They are very practical for walking as well and dry reasonably quickly. My only regret is that they aren’t made with internal coloured pockets now.I loved those colour combinations and used to leave my pockets unzipped to show the contrast. Khaki had red pockets, black had bright pink pockets and I can’t remember the brown as that was my least favourite colour to wear. Also they still have their stiff itchy brand label on the inside back which always needs to be picked off.

Awesome trousers and what a bargain for the short leg version!! I'm 5"3 and the short size are perfect for me (any taller and you'll probably want regular length legs unless you want ankle bashers!) It's really nice to find walking trousers that aren't too long (and my legs actually look longer in these as I don't have a load of material bunched up at my ankles. I'm wearing these to go walking in Scotland in the winter, and as long as I keep on the move my legs don't get too cold. The material is really light so I think they'll be good for the summer too. And the finish on the material is perfect for rainy days - the water just seems to sit on the material and roll off like a ducks back!!They've got a couple of hand zip pockets (including a hidden glasses cleaner quite randomly attached inside a pocket!!) and the stretch of the material gives them a great feminine fit, but also makes them super comfortable for walking in. Top Marks for Craghoppers!

I have celiac disease, and while it's under control, I am prone to bloating. I ordered these in my own size (10S), because the reviews said that they run big, which for me meant that I could wear them when I was not at my best and brightest as well as during normal times. They are just roomy enough to accommodate bloat as well as a pair of thermals underneath on the really cold days, which suits me perfectly. I am wearing them now, sans thermals or bloat, and they are utter bliss on the comfort front. They aren't so big that they will fall off when I go walk the dog. That said, I did order a third pair (did I mention that I've bought two in 10S?),at size 8S to have at least one pair that is a bit more form fitting to my shape.I can't go on about these enough. They are comfortable, durable, and for a shorty like me (five foot one), just the right length. I've been wearing the hell out of them since I bought my first pair a few weeks ago.

I bought a pair of these trousers in black in a size 12L - I really only wanted 12 R but that was sold out so I took what I could get. The extra couple of inches hasn't been a problem though I have ordered again in another colour and the regular leg. They are wonderfully comfortable and - unlike every other pair of trousers - they seem to be made for somebody with my relatively bigger belly and smaller bum. They are the only trousers I own that fit both waist and hips like a glove so I'm thrilled to bits. They can be worn without ironing - thanks to the stretch - and are smart enough for work if you wear a longer top to cover up the logos which are clear evidence that they ought to be 'outdoor'clothes. The fabric is a bit 'noisy' - you couldn't be a spy in a pair of Kiwi Pro stretch as the enemy would definitely hear you coming as your rustled towards them.Great zipped pockets, great fabric, easy care - they're a winner on all counts.

I love these trousers! I spent a long time trying to find a pair of new walking trousers. I would say that I am of average build, I'm certainly not skinny and I carry most of my weight on my bum and thighs. These trousers fit perfectly! The prostretch fabric means that they are a flatteringly snug fit over my bum and hips without being tight or uncomfortable. They then hang with a nice slim (but not too slim) cut down the leg. The stitching, particularly across the bottom is very flattering and really shapes your rear assets nicely! The zips on the pockets mean that the flattering shape is maintained. The fabric is very hard wearing and will stand up to scrambling or climbing. These trousers come in three lengths. I think the 29, 31 and 33 relate to inches length of inside leg. I am 5'8 with a 32 inch leg and the 31 (mediums) fit perfectly.I have also bought a pair of the convertible trousers and am tempted to buy some of the crops too!

These pants are exactly the price that I wanted to pay for one-time use on a trip. They are rain resistant, not rain proof. Mostly this means that they dry very, very quickly. Perfect for washing and drying in a hotel room. They stay wrinkle-free and, in a pinch, could pass for dressier pants if the need arises. The microfiber glasses wipe is located inside of the right pocket--this took me a while to find. They are sold in US sizes and delivered in bags with the corresponding UK size, although the tag will show both.Order a size DOWN. These pants stretch; after a few hours of wear I found myself having to constant pull them up. Shorter girls will have to hem them up a bit. This is fairly easy with the material.I just folded over the amount I wanted to hem (on the inside), sewed along the original cuff, and cut the excess fabric. I have washed and dried the pants and the fabric doesn't fray so you don't need to finish the edges.

Bought a pair of these from a shop and absolutely loved them so decided to buy another pair online. After a short period of time it became apparent that they were faulty, as all the stitching around the waistband started to unravel. The sellers did not want to know, and their customer service was utterly appalling. I ended up going directly to Craghoppers who were great and resolved the issue for me. These trousers are very comfortable and are a slimmer, more flattering fit than the regular Kiwi trousers which I have always found a little baggy in the legs. The stretch makes them very comfortable, and the fabric dries extremely quickly. It is slightly water repellant. They do sit quite low on the hips, and as a result the waist is very generously cut. Buy these trousers but don't get them from Waterproofs UK.

Purchased the ladies version. These are great trousers that I used for dog walks as water repellent, seem to be fairly dirt repellent too. They are comfywnd stretch in the right places. Being black, they can be a little sweaty feeling in full on sun/heat but seems to dissipate/wick away without looking like having an unfortunate accident! :DHave had several compliments about them as the fit is great. They have washed well...until recently when they unfortunately got put in the tumble dryer by a helpful family member and came out a little worse for the experience, not the trousers fault, but worth bearing in mind if you do plan to ignore the laundry symbols! They're still wearable, but not the same.I'm happy to purchase another pair or two, and wouldn't mind them in addition colours.

These are fab. They are my second pair, first are still going strong after 2 years so decided to add another colour. Craghoppers are the only ladies fit that I know of that do different leg lengths.33" is just right for me at 5'11" and so look fine with trainers as well as boots. Before I could only wear boots as my walking trousers were always too short. They are also smart looking - I've worn them with a shirt and no one noticed that they were not suit trousers. Great for travelling without arriving rumpled.Bonus 1 - All the pockets are zipped so add security.Bonus 2 - Removable glasses wipe in the pocket is nice as my sunglasses get smeared all the time.Bonus 3 - the plastic packaging is biodegradable and recyclable.Well done Craghoppers!

Love these trousers - wore them on a hot holiday, and coupled with a pair of breathable, wicking knickers never felt hot and sweaty. The only downside is that I had to wear a belt with them - the waist was very large despite me ordering my usual size. My husband has the men's pair of Kiwi pro stretch and his have a part elasticated waistband meaning he doesn't have to wear a belt. The belt annoyed me as it often ended up against my skin with the trousers slightly lower so a part-elasticated waistband on the ladies' version would have earned 5 stars from me. And to be able to buy these trousers in the correct length for my short legs was an added bonus.I usually turn up trousers but it was so nice to be able to wear them from the get-go.

I just purchased these in a size 12 mid-khaki after having spent a long time searching. Most walking trousers are baggy or zip-offs and not very flattering, these seemed more stylish. First impressions are they are good quality, a nice colour and a good cut. The angled zips are a flattering detail. I am 5' 7" and a size 12. They are the perfect length but large on the waist so I will have to wear a belt with them. They can be rolled to the knee if necessary, so who needs zip-offs anyway? The rustly stretchy fabric will take a bit of getting used to but that's what you need for hiking and they will clearly be quick drying.Added bonus: I've just discovered Craghoppers offer a lifetime warranty on them.

Have had these trousers for ages now..just a great great purchase. They are really comfy, they don't really get wet when it rains, mud dries on them and brushes off, they look acceptable if you go into a pub after a long walk and overall they're just well made. I must have walked about 60 times in them and worn them to move house, and I don't think there's a single snag in the material. My walking mate has them in the capuccino colour and they're really nice too. I'm 5ft 6 and slightly long bodied, short legged; the regular is a great length - has a bit to spare at the bottom, but not dragging on the ground. I thoroughly recommend these.

Really comfy, and being stretchy a fairly loose fit. For outdoor/walking clothing I always get a size above my norm, while I'm happy with this size I could probably get away with my normal sizing. Being stretchy getting over stiles streams etc is a cinch. The only slight complaint, and it is slight, is that there are not enough pockets, it would be great to have an extra one (2 side & 1back). Also they don't seem to do a 29 inch leg, though perhaps it was just that they didn't have that length in that size/colour. Probablywill be getting myself another pair before too long.
