I was looking for leggings lighter and less fat at the ankle than my solomon, I came across the Montane: well wraps the ankle, light, breathable, very good protection against mud, dust, sand, pebbles, debris of any kind that gene the race during a trail. Take a size below if you want it to mold well ankle By cons they tend to go back in the heel, nothing embarrassing. I just add a plastic tube (thermo sheath) protection on the elastic keeps under foot that I find a little light.

Took size L, shoes size 43, be aware of tight ankle, Use for my winter cycling shoes and rain pains. I had to cover ankle space between shoes and pants, unprotected from water. Very satisfied, And highly recommend if you are training in the rain.

Perfect for trail / running, keeps out dust and mud, the elastic straps can be easily adjusted to get a perfect fit to the shoe. The material of the gaiter seems to be of quality to be tested over time.

Ordinary leggings for sneakers, without frills. From the debris and dust, keep the water, I'm not sure.

Used on a very wet and muddy run route and helps keep all the crud out of your shoes.
