Having predominantly wet shaved for 30 years, with the occasional dalliance into electric shaving when the latest ‘new thing‘ was released, but ending up disappointed and/or sore from razor burn, I was somewhat sceptical about trying this, but having to shave really bugs me so I thought I’d give it a go. I bought the face & body model with the extra attachments & tried it the same day. I used it on a longer beard of about a week’s growth. I was extremely surprised & pleased at how easily it cut through the beard. I purposely tried it on the longer beard to see if it did what it claimed & it does - from a week’s growth to smooth in a stroke! The information does say it won’t be as close as a ‘traditional’ razor,

The first time I used this product it was amazing, I didn't break out after shaving. it shaved really close, just like a traditional razor would, however it didn't leave any redness. My face wasn't sore. It was very smooth and still is (post 5 days). I suffer from eczema, so using this razor hasn't inflamed my skin. I also have used this on my body, its amazing. very quick. I can't recommend this enough, and will be buying my friends one of these for there birthdays!. The downside to this product is the razor itself, doesn't have an charging indicator. only on the plug. battery life is fair, 45 mins of run time. is enough. You can shave your face in 5mins. I have been using the OneBlade for over a month now and really like it. Easy to use, with great stubble combs, as I don't want a 'clean' shave'. Good for 'other areas' of the body, too. I have used Philips for the last three years, as their shavers/clipper have never knicked or pulled my skin while using them. The only downside with Philips is that the only reason I need to replace their products is that their batteries stop re-charging after about a year (this has happened with 3 clippers that I bought). Philips really needs to address this. (For this reason, this is the first time I have registered my purchase with Philips.) So, I am hoping that this doesn't happen to the OneBlade I just bought.

I researched all the women's electric shaving options and found many of them described in reviews as "torture devices". This one seemed very unique and I haven't seen others in this design. It allows for a nice close shave without ever nicking the skin and the blade head is small enough to deal with awkward contours. I actually don't think I could cut myself with this razor if I tried which is such a relief, especially with the green body guard which doesn't really add length to the cut but is protective. I've used it without the guard for peach fuzz as well and it works great. The battery life seems brilliant as well, I'm actually still on the first charge after a number of uses.

So ive been using this product for a while now. Initially i only bought the face option. It worked like a charm. I believe this is possibly the best electric shave for facial hair. I then bought the body trimmer thinking it would work just aswell. Unfortunately ive used it around 5 times now and it is just not good enough. The first time i used it it was great after that it just went downhill. My skin feels irritated, takes longer to cut than a normal razer, safety guard get blocked with hair ever so often, misses out a lot of hair, requires multiple strokes in the same area. It would be much faster and easier to use a razor. I would recommend you buying for facial hair not for body.

I like that with different blades, OneBlade can be used for face and body. It's a compact design and easy to fit the blades. Charging the shaver is simple and it seems to keep going for ages without requiring recharging. Shaving dry and against the growth is different to how I do it usually but you soon get used to it. The blade gives a close finish and I haven't had any nicks or cuts. You get pretty quick shaving with it after a few goes and it just becomes second nature. I would recommend OneBlade for its ease of use and it's great that it does away with the need for other grooming products, you can just take this and it will do the job.

I did receive a free product in exchange for your honest feedback but that doesn't change the fact that this is a great tool for any trimming and shaving situation.You can edge your beard, shave your armpits or other sensitive areas with the special guard and you can obviously trim your beard to different sizes with the multiple combs.To clean it, just wash it under the tap and you're ready to go again!On a less positive note, always remember to charge your trimmer in advance as it takes around 4 hours to get the full 60 minutes battery.I definitely recommend it. It can also be used with the skin guard or body comb to trim hair in other areas. It can even be used with the comb attachments of various lengths to keep beards and moustaches in check.It manages to do all these things in a compact, handy unit, when you would usually need a razor or electric shaver and a trimmer/clipper to achieve the same results.I highly recommend the OneBlade! I've come to love the Philips brand over the last couple of years - for design, innovation, quality and value for money and this is another fine product that hits the mark. Would fully endorse the previous comments, and surprised about the warning that it doesn't cut as close as traditional razors, as this is the closest I've ever gotten without ripping my skin to shreds! Makes shaving an enjoyable experience - all the pros of traditional and electric shavers rolled into one without any of the negatives. Thank you Philips from a loyal customer - keep up the good work.

The OneBlade Face & Body from Philips is their combination product with combs for your every requirement, no matter how hard it is to see just there. Seriously, the OneBlade is such a smooth operator that I had no qualms at all about shaving some patches of hair on my back though frankly I've only ever seen them in photographs! And it was pressed into action again and again through the last few weeks. The wear indicator is brilliant but based on what I've seen, I've just replaced my first blade and I'm expecting to need to change it again only once every 4-6 months.

Bought this for trimming and designing my beard. I've also used it to remove my body hair for my holiday!I was surprised how long a full charge takes and then the running time, this is disappointing.The removal of the lime combs are a bit fiddly, but practise helps.I'm using it spareingly because the cost of the new blades are quite frankly 'cheeky'. It's the same strategy as printers, with the running costs high. This I find offensive as I don't like captive audience being penalised, rather than appreciated.2 directional use makes it easy to use.

Loving this versatile shaver which I can use just about anywhere. The digital display and charging dock are dock welcome additions. Performance wise the shaver works a treat but feel there are a few design issues that need ironing out; for example it would be nice if the head swivelled and I find that it’s far too easy to accidentally flick the adjustable comb off the shaver, and with it falling onto a tiled floor I am surprised it hasn’t broken yet.
