One of my German Shepherds served as the guinea pig on this XL Indigo dog house. Reviews of this product are all over the chart and the purchase was made with some trepidation. When it arrived, today, via FedEx (6 days earlier), I was very impressed. She loves it. The other GSD seems envious and wants its own now. Very spacious and very solid. Pricey but worth the investment. This dog house is very sturdy and it will last a long time. The opening is fine and large enough for a large dog to pass through. The only problem I experienced with this dog house is that it immediately attracted the house cat--as well as a 9- and 4-year old boys. It took me over an hour to get them to stop pretending to be Eskimos,

I like the size and construction of the Indigo dog house. I have a 70 pound black lab and he loves it. I am glad I ordered the x-large size. The only negative I have about this house is the lower step is further out than the top. This allows rain to wet the bedding material at the door. My lab will not let a cover stay on the door. If the roof was extended a few inches this problem would be reduced or eliminated. The house is expensive but it should last for many years. I would definitely buy it again or recommend it to someone else.

We purchased two of the XL for our dogs. We are not able to use both of them because there is no way our Great Dane will fit into it. Our other dog will fit just fine because he is a mutt who is closer to a lab size and will have no problem getting inside. It looks like a great product, just wish they made an XXL for the giant breeds.

Nice and big. We have a 11 year old, 110 Labrador retriever. He's able to walk and turn around with ease. He has arthritis in his hips and i worried he wouldn't be able to turn around in there but he did just fine.We live in a pretty cold, damp climate and this keeps him really warm.Super well made and delivery was great!

XL Indigo dog house fits my 85lb pitbull perfectly. He has plenty of room to stretch out even with a XL dog bed that isn't made for a dog house so I'm sure he'll enjoy it during winter months. Well worth the $230 I paid. This house could fit any large breed except maybe a great dane but what non custom house could ;)

love this product and is perfect for my large lab dog she loves it...it fits 2 x-lrg dog pillows and still has room ....she sprawls out stretching her entire body with room to still move a round...was well worth the cost and this product so far has been impossible to find anywhere else in this size

My dog took right to this house the first day. He uses it to stay warm and cool. The raised bottom piece keeps all but heavy runoff out and the extended overhang at the entrance further blocks rain and direct sunlight. My dog is 80# and fits easily. It would comfortably house a dog weighing 120#.

Great product, stands up to the mediocre Socal weather. Doesn't get too wet inside and is very durable, can support myself standing on it @ 180lbs. It would be even better if my Shepard would use it, but he instead would rather enjoy soaking up gallons of water in his fur.

The house is perfect for my Pit Bull. Because we live in show country I did modify it a little by using Velcro to put a "survival" body heat reflecting blanket on the floor and roof, surrounding her. Ruby is snug and warm but has plenty of room to move around.

My lab/mastiff mix dog loves his new house! At first he was hesitant to go inside but after a little coaxing with "cheetos" he went in. Now he spends most of his time inside! We are really happy with this product, and I would definitely recommend it!

Great house for the price. Keeps the wind and the rain off. My american bulldog didn't like it at first; but after putting some straw in so he can make a nice cozy space for himself and burry his kong, he loves it. :)

Excellent construction, heavy, quality product. Living in rural, northern climate with winters that bring -40 degree weather and high winds - I know if my dog is outside during the day - he has a place to be warm.

Perfect for my 8 week old pup to get in & out off & should last for the dogs life. Easy to clean with a small ditch around the rim inside to allow any water to drain out. Very pleased with the product.

Extra large was much smaller than the ones I had 20 years ago, but it will do. The price was way too much, but we love our big furbaby. Is big enough for our sweet German Shepard !
