Bought this as only had glass doors or windows to put the cat mate microchip cat flap in. Unfortunately the instructions for fitting to a glass panel are not accurate with today’s standard so the cat flap will be a lot higher than expected. The instructions says the height from the bottom of the door, however glass companies say 100mm from the bottom of the glass, so if the frame such as a door will be a lot wider than a window frame and will be several inches higher than expected. I had to build a step on both sides of the glass panel to ensure the cat triggered the microchip reader correctly.

Quite easy to fit (into a window in my case). Make sure you read the instructions carefully, as you don't need all the bits for this type of install. I was a bit sceptical, but it does work with my nervous cat. However, she does tend to just sit close and stare at the door whilst hoping a human will take pity and open the real door, and I think this tends to activate the lock, so it has timed out by the time she is ready to come in. However I think her movement does reactivate it as she makes it in the end if her patience gives in before we do!

Just the job. Now keeping the neighbourhood cats out and ours feeling warm and safe indoors with the freedom to go out when they want to. Using this with the microchip cat flap meant we didn't have to change the size of the hole made for our old cat flap. Would highly recommend.

Tolerance quite big where tunnel comes through outside cover plate, I felt the need too mastic the gap so water doesn't ingress backwards into what ever the outside wall is made from, mine is a wooden substructure. Otherwise very good.

Nice door however was to small for my current frame. Builders bricked up the old door to the new door and now all is ok. I find this very useful so I do not need to remember a key when I leave my home.

Perfect and easy installation. Works well. Programming a little tricky to understand get the hang on but straightforward once you’ve get the hang of it. Great customer service for enquiries.

Perfect for enabling the cat flap to fit through a wall. Bought with the extension tubes which all fit together well

Our new cat door was a different size from the previous one, so this kit let us install it without leaks.

This is an adapter kit so not much to say really but works well with cat flat.
