I bought an Osprey for a friend last year and know it's a good product. I wanted one for myself bigger than the 16-18 liter Camelbak I had for the past 11 years, but smaller than my 50 liter Gregory pack. I also wanted an integrated rain cover too, so after a bunch of research, this looked like the right pack for me.First off, it's more of a Burgundy than a real Purple (I'm cool with either). The 24 liter size is perfect for longer day hikes or maybe even an overnight if you pack smart and don't need a big tent.I've used this on 1/2 dozen hikes so far and my only complaint is the location of the hydration sleeve.I prefer hydration bladders to water bottles but with this pack there is a small pocket for sunglasses or whatever (I use it as a "miscellaneous" pocket)and it sits right above the hydration sleeve, so if I need to refill, I have to empty some stuff out of the pocket above.Other than that, I love this as a daypack. It is light, versatile, and an overall well-made product.

Wonderful pack. I love the breathable back, side pockets and adjustable torso! Downside is the internal hydration sleeve takes half the pack's storage. I solo hike in Washington State and I have to carry the 10 essentials; I have a Skimmer 20 that holds much, much more than this pack! I might keep the pack and use water bottles instead of a hydration bladder, but more likely going to have to upgrade again to a Sirrus 36 to keep the functionality of this bag. Edit: I bought the Sirrus 36 and it was TOO BIG! I bought the Mira 32 as well and found it uncomfortable to put a lot of gear in the front pockets- it made the weight of the pack feel off and my balance feel weird.I went back to the Sirrus 24 because of how much I love this bag for spring/summer/fall hiking and bought several stuff sacks to get my gear organized.

I bought this bag for carrying my laptop etc to and from work. I often run or cycle to work and it's the only bag I found which is suitable for running / cycling and still looks reasonably smart in the office. The padded waist belt is terrific and means you can put all the weight on your hips instead of on your shoulders. I love the hip pockets too - perfect for your phone, keys and cards / passes so you don't need to keep taking the bag off to get the things you need. All in all made my commute hassle-free whether by train, bike or running. Five stars!

I was interviewing several backpacks for a European trip. I eventually settled on the ebags Motherlode but this seems like a good backpack. When loaded I would say this pack was more comfortable but I had concerns that the rigid structure that makes this pack more comfortable would have been a problem on the airlines because it does seem to increase the space the pack takes up. If space weren’t a concern it would have been a harder choice to make.Since I didn’t keep it I can’t talk about durability but the materials seemed to be of a fine quality.

Nice pack, well made, but I did not like the color and fit. Color is very different from main picture. It is the color of the 3rd, 4th & 5th pictures. I would call this a dark red wine color; not purple. I am 6' tall and despite adjusting to longest setting, this pack did not seem to sit low enough on my body for the hip belt to ride on my hips. Hip belt pockets were so far away from reach(I have wide hips) I was disappointed, as I hoped this feature would replace the waist pack I usually wear. I sent this back. May try a different Osprey.

I did a 10 day walking tour in England, and needed a backpack for the walking portion. I picked this up, as I needed more back support, etc. compared to regular backpacks. First off, it is sturdy, and held up well. It is a tad uncomfortable, but I am not sure if that is because I am not used to a backpack with a "Brace" on it or not. I had issues at first, as I did not know how to properly fit the pack for me, but I was able to figure it out after the first day. It held all my items perfectly, and I even had more space if I needed.

I bought this pack for hiking the Inca Trail last December. I'm 5'0" and 100-ish lbs, so I needed something fairly lightweight and small enough to be comfortable. This was very breathable and comfortable for the 4-day hike, and the smaller size prevented me from overloading it (and therefore me).I will note that mine did NOT come with the integrated rain cover, so I wound up buying a Sea to Summit cover (also on Amazon). You'll want to check yours right away to see if the cover is included (description says it should be).

Absolutely love this day pack!! I ordered this before the hiking season began and put it thru many miles over the course of this summer. This pack has handled beautifully for anything/everything that ove thrown it's way. The material is easily wiped off and there are enough compartments to hold all of my supplies. The padding on the shoulders makes this sit comfortably and I found it very easy to adjust for whatever load I was carrying. If you're looking for a quality pack that will last I would highly recommend this one.

This is an ample and comfortable pack for a day pack, with plenty of room for extra layers, camp/water shoes, etc. It could possibly be used as an overnight bag also, but you will need to add external straps for a sleeping bag and/or tent, since it is not intended for that use. The mesh webbing on the back is comfortable and breathable, and a place to store trekking poles and ice tools for easy access makes this a versatile pack.

it took me a long time to choose this backpack. But I haven't regretted it for a moment. during my last walk that I have my backpack full, both my stuff and the stuff of my friend. The backpack rested on my hips so that my back was spared. Because of the gap between my back and the backpack, I didn't get sweat stains on my back. Only the pockets on the hip belt are too small to insert a Huawei P20, which is a shame.

really pretty color (some pictures show a royal purple, but mine was more of the burgundy color shown in the other pictures). the pockets and features are well designed and the frame is comfortable and breathable. the waist strap fits in a really comfortable spot. I'm 5'9" so sometimes waist straps on women's backpacks sit too high for me. overall this pack was exactly what i was looking for.

Very good quality backpack, beautiful and incredible comfortable. Seems like all the materials used is durable. The design with all the custom fit settings that makes it suitable for big range of body sizes, the different pockets ,compartments and holders are very clever made. One of the best choices in the difficult category of the specified woman backpacks.

I use this backpack for birding day trips, and it's perfect for that. I keep it packed with all my gear and ready to go, and there's enough room to store an extra layer or two when the day gets warmer and I take off a jacket. Love the little pockets on the belt -- I keep lip balm in one and tissues in the other. A phone would fit, as well.

I tried two other Osprey packs before getting this one. This one is by far the most comfortable. The waist sits in the perfect place for me (adjustable with the back velcro panel) and the wider straps feel better than the skinnier ones on the other packs. I bought an Osprey 2.5L hydropack to go with it and it all worked well together.

I bought this pack for my wife, having owned an Osprey pack myself for many years. She is extremely pleased with it. It can be adjusted in many ways to give a perfect fit and has excellent air flow at the back that avoids getting a sweaty back. There is plenty of space inside to carry everything that may be needed for a day's hike.
