This is the second of this bag that I've bought, the first lasted three and a half years of daily use. I used it for books and materials for Uni, packed lunches, food shopping, weekend trips, day trips, trips to the library and for carrying my laptop. It lasted through two years of college (A levels) and one and a half years of University life which I think is very impressive for a bag of this price!It will easily fit an A4 folder, it is waterproof enough for short/medium journeys in the rain (after an hour things in the outside pocket will become damp), it is strong enough and large enough to carry 5 bottles of 2 litre soda/fizzy. The straps are adjustable and very comfortable.

I paid £10.00. The idea was to carry my note pad, diary, iPad and maybe lunch box to and fro from work. Haven't carried IPad because no secure place for it to sit but maybe I'll secure it with an envelope of its own (although I've already dished out £20 for a case). For the price it's a sturdy nice inconspicuous bag that blends in with my navy overcoat. Does the job I need it to do and looks fairly nice. Sturdy straps. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now. Haven't carried anything heavy in it. Finishing, material and build quality leaves me happy so far.There were other trendy bags but they were taller in size and I wanted something small and compact.

I purchased this about 2 years ago and decided to just write a review now as I wanted to use it and then review it, I can say that I have put this bag through a lot, multiple textbooks and things from GCSE's to A levels, sleepovers, going out to house parties at 18 with drinks in the bag, moving house, this bag can hold a lot of heavy things and there has been no break, it has no tears in it personally for me, though the inside material has come off a bit, but nevertheless, I have been using this same bag for a while and i have had it tossed around and all the zips still work, there are no holes which surprised me as I thought I'd break it within a couple of months as that is me with bags,

I have no idea how this bag is so good for such a low price. I've used it constantly almost every day for a year and the front pocket has a little hole in the bottom, but my god has it lasted well. I've crammed it full of stuff and weighed it down with far too much, but it's survived incredibly well. I had an Eastpac backpack which has a better padded back and straps, but the zips broke within a month. This has lasted far longer and is still good enough for me to be happy to lug it about everywhere. If you're looking for something nondescript, sturdy, and long lasting then go for it! Well worth the price, definitely buy this over high end branded bags.

I read all the reviews before buying, and the bag meets my expectations. Having previously spent twice as much on a school bag for my son that fell apart after one term, I was hoping for something more durable this time. The fabric seems much better quality than the previous bag, and the zips and stitching look sturdy. Time will tell how durable it is, but for under a tenner I don't think you can go wrong really! My 10 year old chose the classic red colour, which is a lovely rich deep red. If I had to be picky, it'd be nice to have a more structured base and perhaps an inside pocket, but otherwise it's pretty perfect for an inexpensive bag.

After going through several bags since the start of school last September, I bought this for my daughter. She's always complaining of the amount of books etc she has to carry and this often shows on the bags within a few weeks, straps start breaking and stitching coming undone. However, after deciding fashion is usually not practical she opted for this backpack. I have to say we were both really pleased when it was delivered, it looked really smart, really good value for the price, it's a lovely size and more importantly it's the strongest bag she's had to date. I would highly recommend to anyone :)

Used it for 6 weeks, seemed durable for pe kit and a few school books.. But on one of the days on the last week of term, i placed my waterbottle inside, along with my trainers, top, shorts and 2 books... Snap, the left handle ripped off.. Such a shame. I've purchased one of these bags before on light blue, then on purple which the one that snapped.. And i'm forced to purchase another again due to it breaking.It is a good bag.. It is quite strong... And it's essential and does the job well for school.. Maybe i over loaded the bag so that's why.Cheap and reliable still.

Bought this for my daughter as she likes to jam as much into a backpack as she can, hence the reason this is the fourth she's had since the summer holidays!This however looks as if it will last longer than the previous ones, very well made and can easily accommodate four A4 ring binders plus pencil case, purse, bottle of water and whatever other 'necessities' she can't do without.It was the green colour she wanted, which happily for me was approximately £3 cheaper than most of the other colours, under £7 for a good quality backpack is an absolute bargain.

I've used this bag for nearly three years, with it being used to carry things around uni most weekdays and for weekly grocery shopping, along with weekends away. Only very recently has a hole started to form in the bottom corners at the back, but all the zips are still working fine and the straps and handle show no sign of damage at all. This is the best bag I've had for school/uni and I would strongly recommend it, particularly for the price - I doubt that any of the higher priced branded versions available are anywhere near as good.

I bought this backpack just over three years ago, used it almost everyday for school and general use and it is still in very good condition!! It has served very well in my school life for carrying round heavy folders and textbook and I have still found it comfortable to wear. It also has space for up to 3 folders and other stationary such as a pencil case. I would recommend this backpack to anyone as it is such an unexpected high quality product for such a low price. I've never been happier with a product I have bought off amazon!

Surprisingly good quality! My old backpack died and I needed a quick and inexpensive replacement. I didn't expect much for the price, but I've been pleasantly surprised. I've been using this every day for six months now, for school stuff, groceries, etc. and it's held up remarkably well! It's got padded adjustable straps that are pretty comfortable, and the interior is coated with something to help waterproof it, which is super helpful when I get caught in the rain. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase!

I wasn't looking for anything fancy or technical, just a simple bag for uni.It is a great size, fits A4 notebooks in with no problem, plus all the extra stuff like lunch, a drink, a pruse, umbrella etc.The little pocket at the front fits maybe a diary and purse in which is perfect for me.It isn't waterproof and judging from it's quality I don't think it would withstand great weights.But for something general like school or uni it is perfect for the price.Very happy.

Wanted a new school bag for my son. I chose these bags as they had no logos of weird patterns and came in a fantastic range of colours. We got the bright blue it's lovely. Low price, good quality, zips seem strong and run well.Small front pocket is roomy and main compartment plenty big enough for A4 folder, spare clothes and lunch box.Would not hesitate to get other colours, have my eye on the bright green one. They are so reasonably priced you can afford to.

Had this bag for over a year for A Level's and it hasn't let me down - can carry a lot of heavy items and is still comfortable to wear on your shoulders. Only slight issue is sometimes the straps can slip off your shoulders so you may have to adjust the straps and they can become uneven but I've had it for about a year and it's still in perfect condition, even though it has had so many folders full of A Level work!

I have absolutely no complaints about this bag. To me, it's a lot more attractive than many of the well known brands. It feels tough and even with a lot of things in it, still feels lightweight to carry around. The perfect bag for people with simple tastes, or even those of whom want a plain bag to decorate with badges and sew-on patches. I highly recommend it and at a tenner, you can't really go wrong!
