** First things first, it says it will fit a "17" laptop", I don't think this means a 17.3" laptop. I have an Asus G751 laptop, now it is on the larger side but is the typical size of any 17.3" laptop, just thicker, but that's not where the problem lies. It doesn't fit side to side. There's mesh supports in the laptop sleeve that I assume keep the laptop from the outer sides of the pack, and with these in place I just can not get my laptop in there, no matter how I work it. So if your laptop is wider than say 12-12 1/4" from front to back, it's not going to fit in this pack. Currently I have my laptop in the middle compartment which offers no protection for a laptop.****Comfort..well this is where this bag isn't made for me. This bag has a mesh air system to keep your back cool and a kickstand, which is all held together with a metal frame. Which in theory is great, and those two feature work great. The problem is, being that it's a rigid frame, there is no adjustment, and I am a larger guy 38 waist and the back to match. So when carrying weighted loads, the bottom of the frame digs into my back, not bad on short trips from the truck to the office or up to the hotel room, but killer on hikes and a day out riding the motorcycle. Can't really fault it cause I'm a fatty, but a little adjustment would be great.**With that out of the way, this is a premium backpack from the materials to the looks of the thing. I get a lot of compliments on the way it looks, at work, followed by "Are you going hiking or something" lol. The build quality is second to none, and I wouldn't be worried about taking the pack anywhere.The mesh between the straps that is meant to air things out, does just that, and very well might I add. I am constantly outside and this keeps my back from getting too sweaty, if sweaty at all.There is a front, easy access pocket, which is nice, but not sure what it is intended for. I thought maybe, if you started the day off with a hoodie and you wanted to take it off as the day warmed up, but it's just not big enough for that. So, I figure it's just for say your wallet, phone, wireless earbud charger, and some quick snacks. Beyond that, there's just not much room in there.The kickstand is a cool feature and as others have stated, unless you have weight in there, you really have to make it work manually. Not really a fault, but kind of leaves you forgetting about it all together. But when you do remember it, it makes it a nice feature when you need to set it down and you don't want it falling over on your laptop or whatnots.As far as storage goes, well, that's where this pack falls short, beyond a short hike this pack doesn't offer the room of most typical hiking bags, even with the straps all loose there's not much room. Just for an idea, I can fit 3 rolled up XL hoodies in the front compartment(which is the bigger of the two) and maybe 5 rolled up tees in the back, without stuffing. I guess it just depends on your gear that you carry, but I really feel like there isn't as much room as I'd like.Price, is this pack worth $150, quality wise, yes it is, if you are just looking for a laptop bag, I wouldn't buy it. If you're looking for a multifunctional weekend warrior that's going to hold up through all the rigorous adventures, yes this is the pack for you. You can't go wrong with this acquisition. The first purchase was for my best pal for Christmas 2020. His verbal review stated that its an awesome bag & he just loved it.My take- it has alot of compartments which is useful in micromanaging your gear. When fully loaded up the bag does take off most of the load, I reckon that's the primary purpose of the bag.Kick stand: not only is it useful when taking your belongings in & out but it looks good from a distance with the bag standing upright without any support.Material: excellent look and feel.A 150% recommendation to buy this product. ❤

Bag is so comfortable and perfect. It was between this bag and north face borealis. Thus bag has that stand feature which is useful. That mesh on the back is perfect and it adjusts so well vs northface. Northface left my back hurting. If the weight on my back is too much on the tropos, I just hook up the straps around my waist and the weight gets placed on my hips. Also, amazon says when you order the black you’ll get the sentinel grey; don’t worry.. you’ll get the black bag.

This backpack really stands up to the Osprey Name.The materials are almost metallic like in terms of strength.After almost a year of heavy usage, not a single strand of loose fiber has appeared.Even when if it does, Osprey stands by it's products and will gladly fix it, no matter if the back pack was made from before the 2000s.This is the best and last backpack I will purchase and the price is defenitely worth it, as I am confident it will stand the test of time.

Everything is good. I should be a great bag for 95% of people. Some drawbacks are:1. not standing up when nothing inside or very light things inside2. the out-most vertical zipper porch is not water-resistant. I actually don't find it useful3. I know the material is durable, not it's not thick. I think Osprey focuses on lightweight. Therefore, if you put iPad and your laptop, do it light when you put the bag on the ground, don't hurt the laptop

I love this bag. Great features the mono color scheme looks sharp and less austentatious with the subtle branding logos. The frame is comfortable and I didn't realize how great it is to have a bag that stands up, until I had one. The mesh on the back panel keeps things as cool as possible. Very happy with Osprey. Again.

I've found the perfect backpack. It straps up very thin and close to your back when you need it to. Can barely tell there's stuff in it. But it can fit a ton if you need it to when it expands. I even fit my entire other osprey backpack in it, with laptop and some liquor.

Package delivered earlier than expected, and the packaging was good. This backpack is very likely the best Osprey has to offer in the day-pack category (it's my fourth osprey product) and the best price-quality-functionality ratio in the market. Excellent product.

I am so happy to have this backpack. My got it has superior quality, great modern design, can be slim when you have less stuff and big in case you need. Just what I wanted.
