I walk to school everyday, it's about a 30minute walk. That combined with all the time walking to different buildings once I'm at school, is a lot of time to get cozy with this backpack.A little back story, I previously owned a unisex North face backpack, I got rid of it because it was too big and hurt my back. I downsized to a women's North face. It was better but it still didn't seem very comfortable and never felt very light even with few items in it.Cut to this backpack, it's a women's backpack so it's made smaller. (Also I'm 5'7" 120lbs so I'm not terribly small bit still). This backpack feels lighter than others, I think it has to do with the frame, it's very comfortable on.I typically have 2 binders and two medium sized textbooks in my backpack, occasionally I'll bring my laptop. With everything in it, It doesn't irritate my lower back or shoulders after hours of wear. The backpack also comes with 2 straps on the side that allows you to compress it in even further. When your stuff is closer to your back, and not hanging far out, it's a lot more comfortable. There are several pockets, a large padded pocket for your laptop, another for your books and such and 2 smaller but still very spacious pockets, as well as an interior pocket and nonzippered outer pocket. The pockets do zip all the way around, but the straps will need to be unbuckled to do this. I'm not gonna lie, I'm very lazy and have not unbuckled the straps since getting this item, (it's been a month), and I've been able to get my books/laptop in and out without a problem. The pockets for waterbottles are nice and deep so your water bottle won't fall out, and there's also a strap on either side to secure it even further. The chest strap on this is awesome too. It doesn't compress your chest in an awkward or uncomfortable way which is something I always look for.The shoulder straps and back are vented so it's been really great for me, a very sweaty person walking in the summer time. HahaOverall I think this backpack is awesome! I've already recommended it to my school friends, looks like Osprey is my new go to backpack brand!:D

This is my second women’s specific Osprey travel pack. The other is much larger with a detachable daypack. This one is more of an everyday commuter bag, school bag, or carry on. It works very well for those purposes. It’s exceptionally well made and stands up to being tossed around and machine washed (I air dry).It has a reasonable amount of organization but most of it is in the form of long, tall pockets which is a problem I have with their other packs. I’d much prefer tiered pockets and/or some smaller ones so things will stay put rather than migrating to the bottom of the pockets and needing to be fished out.The laptop pocket is the big reason I’m giving it four stars rather than five. It’s the same with my other Osprey pack. I don’t travel with a laptop. I don’t want a pack with a built in laptop sleeve but that’s seemingly all that’s on the market if you want a nice, well made bag. I’d much prefer the versatility of no laptop sleeve built in and the option to take my laptop when needed in a separate sleeve. On this pack the laptop compartment is bulky, wasted space for me during the 95% of the time I’m using it without a laptop or tablet in tow. The laptop area also opens all the up which helps when packing but is awkward if you’re out and about and trying to just grab one item out of there.Overall I’d say this is a three star pack for those who don’t carry a laptop and a five star bag for those that do. It has plenty of space for either books or a change of clothes for an overnight trip and enough pockets to keep things reasonably organized. One note is that the stretchy fabric on the front tends not to hold up. It’s fragile and gets pulls and runs like a pair of stockings (it’s on both an Osprey sling bag that I own). You have to take care not to put the bag down on pavement or lean against a brick wall or even overfill that pocket.

The biggest issue women have when using backpacks designed primarily for men is that the straps cut into the underarms. After awhile it not only hurts, but I find myself grabbing the straps to relieve the pressure. These are designed well for a women's body. The straps have a bigger cut out. There is a lot more to like about this pack. It holds a lot and has many compartments. It has a waist and chest strap. The chest strap falls in the right place too!The It has three outside pockets that are stretchy. Two for water bottles on each side and one in front that can fit a rolled up rain jacket! It has a half zippered compartment for electronic accessories bigger than most jewelry pockets we usually see on packs. The main compartment has an inner sleeve for papers or even a tablet but it is not padded. The laptop has a padded sleeve for a tablet but also a mesh padded sleeve across from it. There are side straps to tighten up the contents inside, and the zipper pulls are generous loops. This pack can carry a lot, probably a weekend's worth of clothes beside a large laptop. The back has mesh over a ribbed cushion. It feels great on the back.Osprey thought of everything!

this is a solid backpack for everyday comuting. It looks professional and is well made. Mine was navy and black on the exterior and a bright blue on the interior. I love the contrast interior. Thoughtfully designed it provides plenty of pockets and padding It will protect your laptop and/or other electronics. A tad bulky it still is comfortable to wear. The zippers are p[retty good though there was a bit of hesitation. The straps easily adjust. It is a good choice for an every day commute.

I just used this for both short commute and and a long distance international travel. Lots of space, TSA friendly, easy on the shoulders and accessible pockets that helps with reaching items in the bag during airport transfer.

I don’t like that the straps always dangle about but I love everything about the backpack otherwise. Went on a weeks vacation and managed to pack everything I needed in it and it’s not even technically for long journeys!

These packs are awesome. My daughter used her last one for 4 straight years and it was finally getting holes in it, she requested another Osprey so we got this one. The color is awesome and it’s good quality.

I spent. A lot of time looking for a backpack to fit my needs. This is perfect. Easy access pockets, pocket for my laptop, small enough for every day use, big enough for travel. I like it a lot.

Well structured nice backpack for everyday and carry-on personal item on the flight.Just it did not suit me. Neck part was too narrow and rough.
