Excellent piece of kit, does exactly what it says on the tin.We fitted this to our motorhome so that we could monitor the state of the leisure batteries whilst off grid. When fitted it is important to connect with zero load and let the unit settle to a steady reading. Then start applying load to the batteries, after a few hours, charge the batteries up to full, the unit will 'learn' the power profile.Fitting the unit is not straight forward, you need to cut a square hole in the panel where you intend to fit it, so ensure there is sufficient clearance behind the panel prior to cutting. For us another issue was that the unit is supplied with 5m of cable, which was just a little bit too short,

I have it installed on my boat, it wasn't cheap but it works well and keeps me informed of current draw and battery state. Its a shame the display has missing top left and right illumination but it doesn't really compromise the reading of it. Wiring is relatively simple and thus far data seems accurate, So if anyone has the constant struggle to maintain power in a narrow boat this is the device for you. Im sure its equally at home in a motorhome.

I find the monitor super as it keeps me informed on the condition of my domestic batteries in my cruiser and it also informs me of the rate the batteries are discharging,how long I have left before causing damage to the batteries . I class it a very powerful tool that will assist me in looking after my batteries.

This is the second Nasa Battery Monitor I Bought And very Happy With Both Monitors. Bought the BM2 Version With 200 amp Shunt For My Battery. Instruction Were Simple To Follow And Made Installation Easy. Wouldn't Hesitate Recommending This Product To Anyone Looking For Quality Battery Monitor. Thank You.

Easy to fit, Easy to use, and I have found by using this I can work out what uses my batteries the most and I have become more efficient on using the batteries more economically. The only thing I would like is to be able to programme the hours left in the batteries to show zero when the % is down to 50%.

Excellent instrument, your battery voltage, current drawn and state of charge at a glance. Also shows your starter battery voltage.I have it fitted to my Motor-home, where knowing the state of your leisure battery and current drawn is very convenient, on a Yacht this info is vital.

I like NASA products because they are easy to fit, reliable and user friendly. The displays are so easy to read which is much better than some more expensive products.Some of the wiring instruction are not very clear but not a big problem.Very happy with products, Thanks Guy

Since literally ALL your electrics have to bypass this monitor's shunt, literally ALL ins and out to the battery are displayed - so no surprises of over-charging or even over-discharging.For us wild campers, it's an essential piece of kit.Definitely recommended.

High build quality, and accurate. Seems quite expensive when the market is flooded with cheap Chinese copies, but when installing in a Motorhome you want something good. Easy enough to install with basic tools, the hardest thing is cutting the hole for the display.

easy to fit, very easy to understand and a very very useful product to have for anybody using leasure batteries, only downside is the price, but nothing good is cheap :)

Does a great job and offers piece of mind when you need to know your battery levels. I had made a mistake fitting it and customer service was amazing.

Keeps us informed about battery use on our boat. Even shows how the fridge uses little battery at times. Makes hubby feel happy.

These are great value for the money. Works well, the only niggle is you can't make the backlight stay on permanently
