T90Very well made and as per usual with FLUKE extremely well designed for intuitive and safe operation. Sheesh I sound like a FLUKE salesperson, but I'm not.One of the most important things with electrical testers is that they are simple and safe and fast. You really don't want anything complex, that just increases the chance of a mistake and literally death. You unpack this and it's ready to go. No buttons to press, no on switch, no range, nothing. It's just there and ready. It works out whether you need voltage or continuity testing and you are always safe. There is nothing for you to do other than use it and take readings. There are no switches. It indicates voltage if there is one and does a continuity test if there is no voltage present. There is an instruction sheet, or in fact a huge wad of them, since they did one in every conceivable language and decided to include every single one in every single box, lol, but really one quick read and you realise there is nothing to learn lol.My only reservation is that I would have liked it to have a crocodile clip for the negative lead. It does have fat probe contacts that screw over the small ones.I would just like to point out that Fluke seemed to have changed the continuity test because one reviewer complains there is no beep for one second. That's no longer true. The unit beeps immediately and is a slow beep for continuity and a very fast beep for voltage. The probe cover also has a tab on it for depressing the earth shield in standard UK sockets. That is really handy. The probes are also spaced so they fit directly in to a UK mains socket. Again, very handy. Typical Fluke, a very well thought-out piece of kit. They are expensive but really they are just so well thought-out that they are worth it.

I bought this T90 fluke tester, when installing a rear view camera in a car. I needed to locate a 12v DC source and this helped immensely. I also used it to test the continuity of some audio cables, and again it worked perfectly. The packaging is good, the manual gives clear instructions (15 different languages). This tester was ridiculously easy to use, there's no buttons to press on the T90, I made sure, I carried out a self test, before using it (touch and hold the two probe tips together). The build quality and design was second to none. With the T90, you get two extra tips, which can be stored in the cap so you don't loose them. In operation, this tester was so simple to use. After the self test,I just probed the opposite ends of two audio cables for a continuity test, if the circuit was complete, then an indicator would light up and an audible beep would occur. In the car test, I put the black probe on an earthed source, and probed each cable until the 12v DC icon lit up, with an audible beep. So in conclusion, if you're after a reliable voltage and continuity tester that wont break the bank, this is the one. The Fluke brand is synonymous with quality.

I bought this after seeing warnings about the cheap screwdriver style mains testers that use your body as earth. That went in the bin immediately and I have since used this a couple of times on diy jobs. I was drawn to this because it is self testing (you need to test the tester before doing anything with 240v) and very simple to use. Place the red probe and you get a warning if electricity is present. Place both and you get indication of the size of the voltage. Also comes with integral holder that stops the ends shorting (and beeping) when in your bag or toolbox. The holder also carries alternative probe ends, which are eay to fit. Essential for any job involving mains electrics.

Arrived earlier than expected so I wasn't in. But having collected from the local Royal Mail depot I am very happy with the product. I have used Fluke testers for years professionally and wanted a basic unit for home use. The price offered by the seller was much cheaper than my local electrical wholesaler so quids in. It comes complete with a battery for the continuity and display functions so is ready to go straight out of the box. Instructions are clear and concise.

Can't fault the test meter works well no problemsHandy screw on ends that fits crocodile clipsWith a holder fixed to the cable .My only problem with it was the sixteen diffrent A3 paper language sheets what a waste of paper . I'm sure a small USB or SD cards wouldBetter and reusable or online registration with downloadable instruction/data sheet. Or a single sheet pictorial instructions&data sheetWould reduce paper wasteEnvironmentally responsible

If you know the basics of household electrics and want to test household electric circuits then this is a worthwhile buy. But if household electrics are beyond you then at least get yourself a volt alert detector and a socket master tester to see if you have a supply problem - before calling an expensive electrician to tell you that the fuse needs changing or, worse, to change a fuse before claiming for other work not done plus the usual call out fee.

THE NEWER T90 IS A BIG STEP FORWARD FROM THE OLDER T70 MODEL I WAS USING.A HANDY PROBE TIP COVER AND INTERCHANGEABLE ENDS ARE REALLY GOOD.THE DISPLAY LEDS ARE BRIGHTER AND MORE DEFINED AND THE CONTINUITY BEEPER IS LOUD ENOUGH TO BE HEARD ABOVE INDUSTRIAL BACKGROUND NOISE.SEEMS TO BE ROBUST ENOUGH FOR THE JOB, JUST LIKE MY OLD ONE, SO FLUKE BUILD QUALITY CONTINUES.A GREAT VALUE HANDY TOOL. A MUST FOR ANYONE WORKING ON ELECTRICS OF ALL KINDS.

Great item. Very robust, and like all Fluke products, ingeniously executed. Measures continuity, can detect live voltages present with only a single probe contact, and measures voltage range with two probes connected. Lights are very easy to see. Wouldn't be without it. No replacement for a full featured multimeter, but for liveness testing, it's robust, simple and reliable.

I have had loads of volt pens for years but you can't really put in fath in them. Now with the t90 fluke I can work away knowing for 100% that it's safe to work on a circuit in work. Great bit of kit. The ac and dc function is very handy. Also it will tell you if the circuit is still live with one touch.

Excellent tester, easy to use lets you know if the circuit is live or dead, in addition you have a good clear read out of voltages and an audible test before starting any jobs , just unpack and you are ready to go. Arrived before time well packaged, very pleased with purchase and service provided.

Had qualified leccies in to "modernise" my old house fuse box and fit new sockets etc, and they used this gadget everywhere and showed my how it works. If you are going to get hands on with wiring and electrics, get this tester.

Bought these fluke testers a few months back.As I had not had much knowledge on testing much going from mechanical to electrical. These are absolutely idiot proof and I wouldn't start any job now without taking them with me

A great tester, purchased this to replace my ageing (40 years) Megger tester, Fluke are one of the best, forget Martindale, had nothing but problems with them... This ius perfect for my needs... I would recommend this...

Ideal to stick on my bag for boiler breakdowns, easy to use and test for voltage and continuity. And compact enough to take up less space in this wee bag than my main multimeter Does.
