Bought one of these to do some surveys for work as I was having to walk between lots of locations during the day so it had to fit in my backpack. Was sceptical at first but once I started using it, it was very good. It's lightweight enough you can carry it around all day without an issue. It's telescopic and very easy to extend (twist the handle to loosen it, extend it then twist back to tighten it up) and very quick to pack away again. Seemed very accurate as checked the first few measurements with my laser measure.

For occasional, smallish projects on fairly even ground, this is an excellent, lightweight, no-nonsense tool, that's very affordable compared to those for professional market. I note on one of the reviews a guy mentioned it is too short - but please note the it extends at the two plastic screw joints - ie there are three sections of tubing - giving the handle a fully extended length of approx 1 metre; which should be a good length for most people. Has a simple, manual push button to zero the counter.

The handle's a bit short for measuring long distances. The wheel's a bit small for bumpy ground or long grass. But it's cheap and it works and (bonus) it requires no batteries, so can't really complain.If you need a trundle for regular use I'd say definitely get one with a longer handle and bigger wheel. For DIY or a one-off job it's perfectly fine.

This measuring wheel has a telescopic handle that screws tight to lock in place when extended. It works a treat and for the price is a very good buy. The other benefit of a telescopic handle is that is packs away small enough to fit into my daughters training bag!Bargain buy.

Enabled me to be able to provide an exact measurement over a curved surface at ceiling level, which I was unable to do in one hit with an ordinary tape measure. I would, however, recommend you take more than one reading for your own peace of mind.

I bought this so my lovely lady can go around measuring the very things she wanted to when she was younger. Lightweight and perfectly made, this is great for tucking into your car boot and whipping out as and when required. Trundle trundle!

It is smaller than we thought but does the job very well.The wheel does not jump and it is so light that it is not a problem to carry.Small enough when folded to put anywhere in the car.Excellant for the money.

No concerns very happy. I take it with me now where ever I go and tell people how far they are from my house. Only downside to this item is that you can loose friends for some reason.

The measuring wheel arrived in good time and was as expected. One thing to note however is that the digital measuring display is quite small making the numbers more difficult to read.

It is what I needed to measure the plots on my allotment site. People are disputing the area. It is a bit fragile when going over lumpy ground but for the money it is good enough

Excellent quality & value, really compact too. Fits perfectly in a rucksack for easy transportation. Quick to extend to full length and quite accurate. Perfect for what I needed.

I bought this item for use on our bowling green as an alternative to the traditional long tape, after several uses it seems to be more than adequate for thejob.

Works great although a little tricky on uneven ground, easy to fit in pack with other kit ,but prepare to get a giggle from your colleagues over the tiny wheel
