This review is for the Fluke Networks MT-8202-05 IntelliTone Toner & Probe Soft Case - it appears that Amazon may be combining the reviews for the case and the Toner together. This review is for the case only.I purchased this case to hold my Fluke Networks IntelliTone Pro 200 Toner and Probe and it does a decent job. The tools go side-by-side and are secure in the case. There is a small hook-and-loop belt that can be wrapped around the probe to keep it from falling out of the side of the case. The case includes a belt sleeve and also a hanger that you can use to mount the case. The padding isn't overly abundant, but does a nice job of cushioning the Pro 200 against normal bumps and bruises. The Pro 200 comes with a couple of diferent attachments and cables but there really isn't enough room in this case to carry everything; it's pretty much designed just for the probe and toner and maybe a small notebook or instruction sheet.Fit and finish are fine and I think it's a reasonably good product for the amount I was billed. Recommended if you need a way to carry a Fluke Pro 200.

This review is for the bed of nails clips. Amazon bulks all the reviews for units an accessories together.I love these, and are a MUST HAVE.But Fluke is so proud to make a buck on their name they charge you an extra 30+ to get you BON heads for a Telco tracer that comes with horrible alligator clips that will easily short the post next to it on a 66 block. You HAVE to buy these when they should be included.NAME BRAND has its privilege I guess. I once had a Fluke Networks Manufacturing COST sheet leaked to me once from a lead engineer. They have the worst markup I have ever seen. I seen a 5600 dollar item marked up from 907 to make and ship. But again if you want the best you will pay for it.Rank has its privilege.

I have been in low volt for half a decade and always went with the Fluke Pro3000 (blue toner) because that’s what was available at local big box stores and it “works”.Our crews use a toner multiple times a week to test speakers, ID wires on small jobs (many residential and retrofits). While our old model does work, it’s a trial and error with an easy enough to mistake false positive when dealing with larger bundles. This device is simply astounding. On Cat6 unshielded it had no doubts which cable was hooked up instantly and no odd static. It feels like a 20 year advance in technology.Highly recommend

I recently purchased the fluke CIQ-100 Meter, I needed the 200 probe to be able to identify each individual Cat5 cable when we run 10 to 15 lines to single location. We absolutely rely on the meter and the probe to help us do the job and save us time and money. The probe is extremely reliable and very easy to use. It has paid for itself several times over because of the time is saves us.

This is the best toner I have ever used. It will pickup a tone when all others have faild. I have picked up tone as far as 2 to 3 feet away. Othe guys on the crew and even other crafts come to me to borrow the toner when they need to find a cable. The only thing bad I can say about the toner is you need to keep track of it because after using it, everyone wants to keep it.

I purchased this probe because my old Harris could not locate digital tones. This one does and is the same Fluke quality. My only problem with this unit is that it is so sensitive it is rather difficult to locate a tone within a cable tied bundle. Must first cut ties and then separated all wire individually. Still, better than nothing.

Average score for an average bag. Does what it is advertised to do, and has several large extra pockets for other tools. The only con is that the flap over the tools is annoying and somewhat useless when you're trying to quickly grab at your toners while on the job. I ended up just shoving it into one of the extra pouches.

Well any product with fluke wrote on it is great. I bought a cheap version non fluke of this a while ago and it wasn’t great. But the fluke one of great anyone working in networks or in a cabling industry this is so useful to have in ur tool bag. I don’t use it everyday but whil I do it saves me hours tracing out cable

I use this almost every day and while there are cheaper versions my grandpa always told me to never skimp on something you'll use for your job..that said if you're going to tone wires one time it probably won't make sense for you. I've toned over 500 cables and it's been a great tool to use.

This fits the intellitone toner and probe perfectly and has some additional space for the other cables and items that ship with the toner/probe kit. I just wish it would have come with the toner/probe kit as you need it in most all cases to carry them around and keep them together.

This is a bit pricey for a probe. But I had a Fluke kit with a case that had a molded position for this toner. Others that were cheaper would not fit and then I would have to carry it separately from tone generator and tester. The original one lasted me years.

Well made, not some cheap wire with ends slapped on. This stuff should last a long time. The bed of nails clip is very sturdy and made to last. Cost a little more than other similar cables but well worth the extra $. Buy them, you'll be happy you did.

This is a decent enough case to hold the Intellitone 200 Kit. When I saw the word "kit" though, I assumed that included a case to put everything in. Fluke doesn't see it that way, so back I had to come to get an overpriced piece of nylon and velcro.

15.9.2014

Holds everything like it says. Not much to say about it other than it should be included with the Toner and Probe Kit. Having to buy it separately is for the birds. Don't be so greedy, include it like other manufacturers do.

I've been in the low volt automation world for almost a decade and used many different toners, and this one is by far the best toner I've ever used. We also use it in conjunction with the fluke wiremapper
